Amazon Prime Day 2025 Will Be A 4-Day Sale—Here Are All The Details

This year's Amazon Prime Day details have finally been announced. Early this morning, the retail giant shared that Amazon Prime Day 2025 will run July 8 through July 11—making it a four-day-long event this year. That means you'll have two more days to shop than in years past. Other than that, the sale is expected to be largely the same, with millions of deals on everything from must-have tech and beauty staples to outdoor essentials and kitchen appliances. The press release mentions that you can expect discounts from top brands including Dyson, Away, Samsung and Tarte. Something else that's new this year? Today's Big Deals, a themed daily deal drop. Every night of the sale at midnight PDT, Amazon will be releasing special one-day deals. 'Prime Day 2025 is looking promising. I anticipate that we'll see a lot of first-time deals and all-time lows from a lot of brands as they try to encourage shopping in the face of economic uncertainty,' says supervising deals and coupons editor Kara Cuzzone. Here, we've outlined everything you need to know about this year's sale and rounded up the best early deals you can shop right now. Amazon Prime Day is a summer sale that was first introduced in 2015. At its start, Prime Day was a single-day event meant to celebrate the company's 20th anniversary. Over the years, it's expanded into a 48-hour event, but this year it's getting another extension: Amazon Prime Day 2025 will be four days long. Amazon Prime Day 2025 will start at 12:01 p.m. PDT on July 8 and run through 11:59 p.m. PDT on July 11. That said, there are already some early deals worth browsing if you want to get a head start on shopping. Technically, there's only one Prime Day each year. However, for the past three years, Amazon has run a similar savings event in October: Prime Big Deal Days. In recent years, it has also started running annual sales that are open to the general public (not just Prime members) including the Big Spring Sale, Amazon Pet Day and the Summer Beauty Event. Time will tell if Amazon will continue to add to its annual sale schedule. No, Amazon Prime Day isn't a sitewide sale. That said, you can still find hundreds of thousands of discounts across nearly all product categories from brands like Sony, EltaMD and, of course, Amazon itself. Just keep in mind that you have to be a Prime member to take advantage of the deals. The answer to this question largely depends on what you're shopping for. If you're in the market for Amazon devices, tech and small appliances, you'll likely find some great deals over Prime Day. The same goes for beauty and personal care essentials—Amazon has really stepped up its game in these categories over recent years. That said, there will inevitably be plenty of lackluster offers as well. We always recommend checking the price history of an item by using tools like CamelCamelCamel or checking other sites for price comparison before adding it to your cart. Our editors research the price history of every item we feature in our content, so shopping a Forbes Vetted Prime Day deals lists is another way to ensure you're getting a good deal. You can sign up for an Amazon Prime membership at any time. The annual membership costs $139 (after a 30-day free trial). A membership gets you access to the sale as well as a slew of Prime member perks, like access to special offers, free shipping (including same-, one- and two-day shipping options depending on the product and your zip code), Grubhub+, Prime Video services and more. Some users may also qualify for discounted memberships, including students and eligible government assistance recipients. You don't have to wait for Prime Day to find great deals on Amazon's site. The e-tailer is known for offering some of the best prices and widest variety of products online all year long. Here are a few offers worth checking out now. A portable charger is a must for frequent travelers and commuters. I brought this Anker model on a extended trip with friends recently, and it was the most used item among all of us. You can attach your phone magnetically and prop it up with the kickstand for hands-free use, or attach a USB-C charging cable for fast charging. Why It's A Good Deal: This is only $3 shy of the best price we've seen for this charger, and the lowest it's dropped since March. With three speed and temperature settings, this Wavytalk tool lets you dry your strands efficiently without creating excess damage. Plus, the compact design makes it easy to travel with. Why It's A Good Deal: At $62.59, this is just $1 more than the hair tool's lowest price ever. Our favorite Apple wireless earbuds, the Apple AirPods Pro 2 offer up to 30 hours of battery life, spacial audio, great sound and a secure fit. They also have a new Conversation Awareness feature that automatically adjust the sound when it detects you're speaking. Why It's A Good Deal: This matches the second best price we've seen for these earbuds, which haven't dropped any lower since December. Grab this Yeti bag for your next lake day or a summer picnic. The carryall is a soft-style bag that's tough, waterproof and has internal dividers to help keep your items organized. Just keep in mind that it is not a cooler, so it won't keep your items cold. Why It's A Good Deal: This is the best price we've seen for this Yeti tote. If you're looking for a TV that'll let you catch every second of your favorite sports games in high res, this is a great option. It has an AI Sports Mode that sharpens and boosts the quality of whatever you're watching—including fast-moving action. It also has a gaming mode that allows for lag-free play. Why It's A Good Deal: This is the TV's lowest price ever. Our favorite espresso machine overall offers premium features in an accessible and user-friendly design that's easy to clean. The set includes a built-in bean hopper and grinder, 15 bar pump, steam wand and more. Why It's A Good Deal: This deal is the second best price we've ever seen for this popular model. The Apple Watch Series 10 improves on its predecessors: It's thinner and includes an impressive suite of health and fitness features—not to mention seamless connectivity with your existing Apple eco-system. If you're an Apple user looking for a smartwatch or simply looking to upgrade from an older model, this is a good deal. Why It's A Good Deal: This discount matches the best price we've seen for the latest model. If you live in a smaller space with hard floors, check out this Dyson stick vacuum. The V8 Plus is lightweight, maneuverable and comes with several attachments to tackle a variety of cleaning needs, like stairs and upholstery. Why It's A Good Deal: This discount matches the second lowest price we've seen on this model in 2025. When it comes to your teeth, a little investment up front can go a long way. Our pick for the best splurge electric tooth brush is aesthetic, has a well-designed app and travels well. (Its chic case doubles as a portable charger.) It also has a removable base that's easy to clean and doesn't allow gunk to build up. Why It's A Good Deal: This discount is just $5 shy of the best price we've seen for this model in 2025. It's grilling season. If you're looking for a new grill, this is a solid deal on a cult-favorite model. The Traeger pellet grill can grill, smoke, bake and more all in one. This compact design won't take up a ton of space in your yard, but it can still hold up to 24 burgers or four whole chickens. Why It's A Good Deal: This is the best price we've seen for this grill since 2024. Fish oil is good for your pet's coat and joints. It's a great supplement to add to their meal at any age, and it doesn't get much easier than a liquid meal topper. Reviewers say they noticed improved softness of their pets' coats and that even picky pups seemed to enjoy the taste. Why It's A Good Deal: This matches the best price we've seen for this Native Pet oil in 2025.

Amazon Prime Day 2025 dates are here for the 4-day July event, plus early deals to shop

You know that feeling you get when you're reading a book or watching a movie that's so good, you don't want it to end? Shopping editors can relate during a particularly bountiful sale event. Take Amazon Prime Day, for instance — it's always been two days long, which, in my opinion, isn't nearly enough time to bask in the super-savings glow that results from scoring a stellar deal. That's why I was stunned/excited/insert-happy-adjective-of-choice-here when I heard that Amazon Prime Day 2025 will be a four-day affair. Yes, you read that correctly; everyone's favorite annual sale will run twice as long as usual, so mark your silly me — you can't mark your calendar until you know the actual dates. Well, let me be the first to inform you that the online retailer just announced that Amazon Prime Day will be taking place (drum roll, please): Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11. That's in less than a month, and a bit earlier than in recent years. But I'm not complaining. I mean, when Amazon teases us with the promise of "deep discounts across more than 35 categories including electronics, kitchen, beauty and apparel," who would want to wait? Now, a bit of housekeeping: In case this will be your first Prime Day foray, you'll want to keep some things in mind. For starters, as the name implies, the majority of the best are exclusively for Prime members. That means you'll need an Amazon Prime membership to take advantage of the steepest markdowns. Signing up is easy, and you can even opt for a free 30-day trial before committing. After that, you'll be charged $14.99 per month, which grants you access to dedicated deals, fast and free shipping, Prime streaming content and more. Feeling a little impatient with all of this savings talk? I've got you. As Yahoo's senior deals writer, I'm constantly on the lookout for the best markdowns on the web, and I'm happy to report that there are solid deals popping up at Amazon as we speak. I'm talking record-low prices and rare sales, so take a gander before Prime Day mania ensues. Happy shopping... If you have Amazon Prime, you'll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)

Why did it take so long for this to happen? A simple change makes this my new favorite MagSafe wallet

My search for the perfect MagSafe wallet is never ending, but that's okay because each new one I come across uncovers a new feature I haven't seen before. Case in point, the ESR Aura MagSafe Wallet that does one thing differently that I haven't seen before — and it's the closest thing to a conventional wallet. I've stopped carrying a traditional wallet because I was tired of carrying two separate things on me all the time: my phone and wallet. That's why I've chosen to use MagSafe wallets instead because of how they snap onto the back of my iPhone for convenience. However, the biggest problem I have about the majority of MagSafe wallets I've tested is that they usually store no more than 3 cards at a time. The ESR Aura MagSafe Wallet is one of the most functional wallets around with its ability to act as a phone stand, along with two slots on the inside of the case that makes it function more like a traditional check: $24 @ Amazon With the ESR Aura MagSafe Wallet, it's able to store 6 different types of cards comfortably — but what sets it apart from anything else I've tried is the two extra slits on the inside of the case that lets me store additional cards. This simple change makes it different and ultimately feels more like a normal wallet. I really like how the one side has a clear cover that lets me easily see the numbers on my credit card whenever I need to punch it in online for a purchase — which I also use to store my work access card for quick access. Meanwhile, I reserve the other slot for my Metrocard since it's one of the cards I have to constantly take out of my wallet to use. With the main compartment on the back of the ESR Aura MagSafe Wallet, I keep all the other cards I don't use as much. The nice thing about it, though, is that I'm able to cram 4 additional cards without overstuffing it too much. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. While the Supcase MagFlip Stand I've used previously stores more into a slot, the ESR Aura MagSafe Wallet is much slimmer — very close in size to the Snap Grip Wallet. Due to how it folds, the ESR Aura MagSafe Wallet also doubles as a handy stand for my iPhone for watching videos or taking FaceTime calls hands-free. The hinge that holds the two halves together is tight enough to keep my iPhone still in landscape mode as well. Now, the only thing missing that would make it better would be some sort of Find My function — but that would probably make it thicker. Besides that, the magnetic connection is pretty strong and makes me confident that it won't come off too easily. I just can't believe how a simple change makes this MagSafe wallet much more practical than most of the stuff I've used previously.
