If you're in the market for a dash cam but don't want to pay full price, now's the time to make a move.
This eBay refurb deal gets you the popular Nextbase 522GW Dash Cam for just £85, a big drop from its original £170 price tag.
There's real value in shopping refurbished tech, especially when the devices are as well-vetted as this one.
It's no scratched-up hand-me-down; this Nextbase unit has been professionally refurbished to meet the original manufacturer's standards.
That means it's been cleaned, inspected, and restored to full working condition by Nextbase or a certified partner.
It's rated as being in 'pristine' condition, comes boxed in original or new packaging, and includes all accessories, so you'll hardly be able to tell it's not new.
And these days, a dash cam is a smart addition to your car set-up.
Be it your day-to-day commute or heading off on a road trip, it offers peace of mind and reliable footage if things go wrong.
With summer holidays in full swing, many Brits are hitting the roads abroad, and it's easy to slip up with avoidable holiday driving mistakes.
From unfamiliar road rules to wrong turns, having a dash cam rolling can cover you if you get into a scrape.
It'll help protect you in case of disputes, and can even assist insurers in sorting claims faster.
The Nextbase 522GW is packed with features that drivers will really appreciate.
It records in crisp 1440p at 30fps (or 1080p at 60fps), giving clear, detailed footage thanks to its sharp lens and 140-degree wide viewing angle.
The 3-inch HD IPS touchscreen makes playback easy if you need to access footage quickly.
That said, it's Bluetooth-ready, with Quick-Link Wi-Fi, so it's easy enough to sync footage directly to your phone, ideal if you ever need to send clips to your insurer in a hurry.
GPS tracking and a G-sensor protect your footage if there's an impact, and the emergency SOS feature can even alert emergency services to your location.
There's Alexa built in, too, so you can get directions, play music or check the weather without taking your hands off the wheel.
I also spotted more refurbished bargains this week, including a refurbished iPhone 13 deal going for just £20 a month.
Which is well worth a look if you're after a budget-friendly upgrade.
And if you're gearing up for a trip, reliable tech can make all the difference.

Five cars reimagined in retro form by artificial intelligence
Advertisement Subtle one, this. BMC's original '59 Mini had an estate version, the Clubman, but it was a stretched two-door. The Countryman, technically a sub-compact crossover, didn't appear until 2010. So what would an Alec Issigonis-designed Countryman have looked like back in the early Sixties? Well, wonder no more – weird doors aside, you can see how good it might have looked. And yet Tesla as a corporate entity didn't even exist until 2003, and the Model 3 wasn't born until 2017. The AI decided that the Model 3 of the latter Sixties was still a compact executive car, but actually a two-door worthy of a poster. If only. You might like Another one that looks real. The Range Rover Sport appeared in 2005 as a mid-sized luxury SUV. The first Range Rover appeared in 1969, and was two-door only until '81, so an imagineered '74 RRS has ended up looking largely like a smaller Range Rover Classic with fat wheels and no rear doorhandles. Although this seems to be a modern interpretation of a mid-Twenties pickup version of the Model T – sometimes called the Runabout – and the world's first pickup truck. The Cayenne caused controversy when it was launched in 2002 – an SUV from a maker of sports cars? The horror! And yet it largely bolstered the company's future against the slings and arrows of outrageous market forces. 15 reasons why the Ford Transit is the GOAT of the van world – from transporting rock bands, elephants and even ROYALS
WE could argue all night about who is the GOAT. 15 15 15 But when it comes to vehicles, it's not even a debate. G reatest O f A ll T ransit. The humble Ford Transit has been Britain's best-selling van since day one - August 9, 1965. That's like Liverpool winning the Prem for 60 years on the bounce. Everyone else might as well give up and go home. To celebrate Transit's 60th, we've peppered today's column with quirky facts, as well as hearing from owners with a cherished van from each decade. Ford's famous Backbone Of Britain telly ad from the Eighties was genius marketing. Yet also 100 per cent true. Transit keeps this country ticking. Everything we see and touch was transported in a van. 15 15 One reason Transit is successful is that Ford engineers sit with owners to find ways of making the next model even more useful. Like the bloke who shoved a lump of wood through the bottom of the steering wheel to make a lunch table. The latest Transit Custom has a tilt-up steering wheel with a tray for his quinoa tuna salad. Bosh. Ford's insane V8 1971 Transit Supervan Retired builder Peter Lee, founder of the Transit Van Club, said: 'Transit is like a forklift with two doors. "Built to work. They're good honest vans that will do the job.' The OG and still the best. 3 MILLION UK sales and counting. Always available in white. 15 15 15 15 15 15
