You can watch Pokémon the Movie 2000 for free on YouTube right now
In case you need a little refresher on where the second Pokémon movie picks up:
In the Orange Islands, far south of Kanto, a Trainer named Lawrence is on a sinister quest: catching Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, the three Legendary bird Pokémon, in an attempt to awaken Lugia, guardian of the sea! When Ash and friends arrive, the islanders ask him to gather three elemental orbs from different islands—and when the weather across the world goes out of control, this task takes on a new importance, as the capture of the Legendary trio has thrown the environment out of balance! With Lugia's help, can Ash be the 'chosen one' that everyone turns to? To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. It's not clear how long the movie will stay up on the YouTube channel — The First Movie has already been taken down after its brief run — so if you're interested, you should probably get to it sooner rather than later.

Tobias Menzies and Sophia Di Martino Among Eight Joining Ayo Edebiri-Will Sharpe Rom-Com Series ‘Prodigies' at Apple
Apple TV+ has added eight new cast members to 'Prodigies,' the streamer's upcoming romantic comedy series created by Will Sharpe and starring Sharpe opposite Ayo Edebiri. Newly joining 'Prodigies' are Tobias Menzies ('F1: The Movie,' 'You Hurt My Feelings,' 'The Crown'), Sophia Di Martino ('Loki,' 'Flowers'), Andrene Ward-Hammond ('Your Honor,' 'English Teacher'), Yumi Asō ('Perfect Days,' 'Angel Flight: Kokusai Reikyu Sokanshi'), Reece Shearsmith ('Inside No. 9,' 'The League of Gentlemen'), Nabhaan Rizwan ('Kaos,' 'In Camera'), Meera Syal ('Roar,' 'The Wheel of Time') and Lolly Adefope ('The Franchise,' 'Ghosts'). Now in their early 30s, they are starting to question whether their very ordinary existence is living up to the extraordinary promise of their childhood. Inevitably, they find themselves asking the same questions of their relationship. As individual hopes and needs feed into and conflict with their shared lives, the series challenges the fallacy at the heart of romantic storytelling — that the tale is over when the heroes get together. In life, surely, that is just the beginning?' Along with Sharpe and Edebiri, the new cast members join Rina Sawayama, the pop singer previously announced to be recurring in the role of Hana, Ren's sister. Sharpe writes the seven-episode series and executive produces alongside Edebiri. Also executive producing are Jane Featherstone, Naomi de Pear and Katie Carpenter via Featherstone and Elisabeth Murdoch's Sister production banner. Pokémon type chart: all types, strengths, and weaknesses
The motto for Pokémon might be to 'catch 'em all' but the real goal of these RPGs is to beat your rivals and become the best there ever was. Your first step on this journey is always picking your starter, which comes in one of three types: Fire, Water, or Grass. However, there are way more types to encounter that you need to account for. Types represent how your Pokémon will do against another one in battle, with some types having big advantages over others. You could probably figure out that Fire is super effective against Grass without any help, but what about all the obscure types added to Pokémon games over the years, like Dark, Steel, and Fairy? I'll give you the most current Pokémon type chart so you can easily build the best team. Pokémon type chart Because it would be too complex to write out how each type interacts with all the others, visualizing each type's strengths and weaknesses with a handy chart is more practical and useful. For this, we turn to Poké type chart I've included below. To read it, you need to either start by identifying the attacking Pokémon on the left side of the grid and then line it up with the type of the Pokémon being attacked on the top. For example, if you are using a Poison type against a Ground type, you would be doing 1/2 damage. But, if you were to be attacking a Grass type you would be doing 2X damage. Recommended Videos Types determine whether or not attacks deal normal, 1/2, 2X, or no damage to the defending Pokémon. This is the cornerstone around which you should be designing your team composition. You might love Water types and have a ton of high-level ones, but you will need various other types to swap in to not only exploit weaknesses it can't, but also negate or reduce incoming damage if you encounter an Electric or Grass type that will deal double damage. You can technically brute force your way around type advantage for some battles, but once you get to the end-game trainers or fight online, you will need to know this chart type like the back of your hand. To use the type chart at a glance, you can just remember what each colored cell represents: White: Normal damage Red: 1/2 damage Green: 2X damage Black: No effect/ no damage There are also individual charts for every combination of dual types you can reference here. All Pokémon types As of 2025, there are currently 18 total Pokémon types. There were originally 15, with new additions like Fairy, Dark, and Steel being added in future generations. In addition to new types, the strengths and weaknesses have shifted over time, as well as the introduction of dual types. If Gen 10 adds another type, I will update this list to include the new addition. This is the current list of all possible Pokémon types: Normal Fire Water Electric Grass Ice Fighting Poison Ground Flying Psychic Bug Rock Ghost Dragon Dark Steel Fairy

Ridiculous Secrets People Are Keeping
At any given time, there is someone around us who is keeping a secret. While many of these secrets are serious and life-changing, some of them are downright ridiculous (and hilarious); however, that doesn't mean it's not nice to get them off one's chest... That's why when Redditor u/PandaBear905 asked "What's a ridiculous secret you've been keeping?" people flooded the comment section with their silliest confessions. From raccoon encounters to breakroom shenanigans, here are 21 of their best responses: "Every Christmas, I would write a fake 'Christmas newsletter' and send it to my parents. I invented this guy who was a huge blowhard, but believable enough that my dad thought that he had worked with him at some point in the past." "I'm teaching my granddaughter to glue googly eyes on Mrs. Butterworth's and other packages with eyes when we're in the grocery store. She's only three, and we have so much fun!" "I hid my tooth under my pillow for the 'tooth fairy' to find and give me money — I knew it was my dad." "When I was dating my now-wife, I told her I loved a dish she cooked for me. In reality, it was terrible. 25 years later, she's still cooking it at least once a month because it's my 'favorite.'" "I'm Canadian, and in high school, I had a crush on this girl who was originally born in the US. To try and impress her, I pretended I was an American who immigrated to Canada, too." "My family and I leave plastic ducks all over our city, or my children ask people who appear to be having a bad day if they would like a duck. Nine times out of ten, they take the duck and walk away with a smile; the other times, they act confused and walk away." "When I was about six years old, I had a pet turtle, and his tank sat on top of my dresser. The only way for me to reach the top of the tank was to climb on top of the windowsill so I could lift the top." "I like looking at my DVD collection rather than watching them, and I don't know why. I feel like I'd be called weird for just holding the case of my favourite show and happily staring at it for a while before putting it away." "Every night, I fall asleep hugging a stuffed animal. I am 41." "One day, I came home late at night, drunk, and decided to walk my dog. Just when we arrived outside my house, my dog attacked a raccoon hanging around the area. I ended up wrestling my Malamute and freed the raccoon from his jaws." "I used to regularly hang out at a friend's house for parties. His downstairs bathroom's switches for the light and fan were opposite mine, and it annoyed me to no end, especially when I'd have a few drinks." "I don't like Pokémon. It was my brother's special interest growing up, and I saw so much of it that I started to hate it. My partner adores Pokémon. So, of course, I let them rant, watch the competitive videos, decorate my room with memorabilia, etc." "When I was six, my older brother and I were pondering what the female versions of our names would be. I decided mine (Nate) would be Natalie, but before I could say it, my brother cut me off and said, 'You think yours is Natalie, don't you?'" "I've been very intentionally moving everything in the break room just slightly off-center — the coffee pot, the sugar container, even the wall clock — always about an inch to the left. Just enough to unsettle anyone with a shred of spatial awareness." "For the longest time, I told my kids that the ice cream truck music was them telling us it was all sold out! They believed it until they were in their early teens." "My friend is a MAJOR Death Cab for Cutie fan. The band came to our city a few years ago, and I knew my friend wouldn't be able to afford tickets. She was upbeat about it, but I knew she was devastated..." "When my son was six, he really liked to dig holes. He even had one that was three feet deep in our yard because he was convinced he was on top of old ruins. He kept bringing small, old things into the house that he was excited to display in his room after cleaning them." "When I was a teenager, I threw a relatively small house party while my parents were on vacation. The wooden floor in one room got scratched during it, and when my parents came home, they noticed. I confessed by telling them I had tried using a skateboard on the treadmill, but it slipped and damaged the wood." "I've been with my spouse for almost 17 years. He has no idea how much I love chips: Doritos, Lay's, Ruffles, etc. I can easily inhale an entire bag in one sitting." "I helped a friend out with ad money on her blog and YouTube channel. I would regularly click on ads on different devices, so she could get the money from them and use multiple devices and accounts to help boost her. I would write in different ways and say different things to make sure they didn't sound too similar (being bilingual also helped)." "My parents didn't want me to learn to ride a bike until I turned eight, but I wanted to learn earlier, so I snuck into the garage when they weren't paying attention and rode my sister's bike in circles, crashing into things until I figured it out. Then I would sneak out and ride around the neighborhood for two years, and no one had any idea I was gone (it was the '80s)." Which one of these stories was your favorite?
