'It seems Garnacho has checked out'
Alejandro Garnacho is still a Manchester United player but it seems he has checked out of life at Old Trafford.
Maybe his attitude is understandable given Ruben Amorim told him before the final Premier League game of the season he could find himself another club.

Garnacho did not appear particularly engaged during the post-season trip to Malaysia and Hong Kong and has now decided it is a good idea to allow the public to see a picture of him wearing a shirt of a rival club – albeit with the name of team-mate – and fellow Amorim outcast – Marcus Rashford – on the back.
The 20-year-old presumably thinks his bridges are already burned as far as Amorim and United are concerned but it won't make it easier to sell him.
Former club Atletico Madrid have been mentioned as one potential destination, although their current focus is on salvaging their Club World Cup campaign, as have Chelsea, although they are keen on Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Gittens.
It is another couple of weeks until United return for pre-season training but it is hard to see Garnacho playing any meaningful part in that. With the Argentine, Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony, Amorim could find himself with his own version of Chelsea's 'bomb squad', a very expensive, well-paid group of players he has no use for.

On her debut in what look an ordinary run of the mill affair at Leicester she had the misfortune of bumping into Clive Cox's Coppull. That form has subsequently been well franked, as despite being an unconsidered 66-1 chance in the Coventry Stakes last week Coppull finished a fine third. Stardinia has run at Ascot since in quite a valuable affair and while she was only fifth, the form is pretty solid. Advertisement In the British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes it is Eve Johnson Houghton's Mystic Moment who catches the eye. The Time Test filly has run twice to date and been the runner-up both times, coming home a length and three quarters behind the winner on her debut at Kempton in May. Her next run was a switch to turf at Goodwood earlier in June, where she progressed to go down by just a neck over the same six-furlong trip. She now steps up in trip and considering her dam stayed a mile and a half, she should have no concerns with seeing out an extra furlong at Newbury.

Jets owner Woody Johnson buys 43% stake in English soccer club Crystal Palace
LONDON — New York Jets owner Woody Johnson is finally set to get his hands on an English soccer team. Premier League side Crystal Palace announced on Monday that Johnson has signed 'a legally binding contract' to buy the shares of fellow American John Textor, who has a 43% stake in the London club. Reports have placed the price between $220 million and $260 million. 'Whilst the completion is pending approval from the Premier League and Women's Super League, we do not envisage any issues and look forward to welcoming Woody as a partner and director of the club,' Palace said in a statement . 'We would like to go on record to thank John Textor for his contribution over the past four years and wish him every success for the future.' Johnson submitted a bid to buy Chelsea in 2022 but was unsuccessful. The sale of Textor's shares boosts Palace's hopes of playing in the Europa League next season, having qualified thanks to its FA Cup final victory over Manchester City last month. Textor is also a shareholder in French side Lyon, which is set to enter the same competition, and under UEFA multi-club ownership rules, it looked as if Palace could miss out. ___ AP soccer:

Chelsea signing outlines desire to play ‘aggressive' football
Liam Delap has said he relishes the aggressive side of the game and does not want to change his style after signing for Chelsea. Delap has joined Chelsea in a £30m deal from Ipswich Town, after scoring 12 Premier League goals last season despite the club's relegation. The 22-year-old is currently with Chelsea at the FIFA Club World Cup and is set to start as the Blues take on ES Tunis on Wednesday night. Delap has developed a reputation for a full-throttle brand of football. Last season, no Premier League player picked up more yellow cards than Delap (12), while only one committed more fouls (72). The England u-21 international admits the physical battle is something he enjoys but says he is keen to stay on the 'right side' of the edge. 'I love the battles. I always have since I was a kid,' Delap said in an interview with talkSPORT. 'I really love the aggressive side of [the game] and the competitive nature of the squad.
