Anduril founder teases new retro video game console that can play old N64 games

Palmer Luckey, the founder of Anduril Industries, recently teased the release of a new retro-style video game console that can play decades-old video games. Luckey's company, ModRetro, which creates retro video game consoles, plans to release a new console called "M64" that can play Nintendo 64 games. It will cost $200, the same price the Nintendo 64 had when it released in 1996, according to Luckey. More on Palmer Luckey: Tech billionaires plan new Columbus-based bank, Financial Times reports Luckey made his fortune in the video game world, inventing the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset and founding Oculus VR, according to Smithsonian Magazine. Facebook bought Oculus VR in 2014 for $2 billion. He was ousted from Facebook in 2017 after he donated $10,000 to a pro-Trump group, sparking backlash from within the company and from the public, according to CNBC. After his firing, Luckey founded Anduril Industries, a defense company that creates autonomous weapons. The company is investing $1 billion to build its new "Arsenal-1" drone and weapon factory near Rickenbacker International Airport in central Ohio. Production at the factory is set to start in 2026, The Dispatch previously reported. 'Bombshell' Ohio State Cheerleader Trending Before Season Opener

'Bombshell' Ohio State Cheerleader Trending Before Season Opener originally appeared on The Spun. A "bombshell" Ohio State Buckeyes cheerleader is trending on social media ahead of the 2025 season. Ohio State could open the year as the No. 1 team in the country. The Buckeyes, who went 14-2 last season, en route to a national championship, lost a lot from their title-winning team. But they bring back plenty of stars, too, including All-American wide receivers Jeremiah Smith and defensive back Caleb Downs. Ohio State should be loaded once again. The Buckeyes will open the year with a big game, hosting Texas at The Horseshoe. It could be a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup in Columbus. ESPN's "College GameDay" will be in town, as will FOX's "Big Noon Kickoff." Ahead of the season opener, a "bombshell" Ohio State Buckeyes cheerleader is trending on social media. She's very excited for the start of the regular season. Avery Thielman, a veteran Ohio State Buckeyes cheerleader, is trending on social media before the Week 1 season opener against the Texas Longhorns. "Found this in my drafts and got excited for weekends to look like this again #onemonthaway," she wrote on Instagram. While Avery is ready for the 2025 college football season, she's been spending some time out west, too. She recently enjoyed a trip out to Los Angeles. "OH -> LA," she wrote. Ohio State and Texas, meanwhile, are scheduled to kick off at 12 p.m. E.T. on Saturday, Aug. 30. The game will air live on FOX. A Day in the Life With Enhypen on Tour

'Enhypen's ready to show our true selves,' Sunghoon tells Vogue just before opening night of the group's 'Walk the Line' tour. 'If I could, I'd even show myself shaving.' While there is no shaving tutorial in this exclusive last looks video, Enhypen does offer glimpse into a day in their day lives on tour—and what they'll be wearing to perform. 'Walk the Line' is the pop sensation's biggest tour since their 2020 debut, when the seven-person group rose to fame after winning on the K-pop survival program I-Land. To kick off the US leg of their tour, which comes months after the group performed at Coachella, the members arrive at the UBS Arena in New York's Belmont Park six hours before showtime. First up is a wardrobe check, which includes several stage looks—a Matrix-like leather ensemble among them. 'Everything from the tank tops to the belt, it's all custom,' says Jake. And not just any custom: 'Prada,' Jungwon throws in. Ni-ki tries on the ensemble on behalf of the group. while the leather's fit is a bit warm, nothing stops Enhypen from having a killer stage look. Fashion-wise, the group has come a long way over the past five years, with Jay's self-proclaimed 'rocker-chic' look morphing into a much more minimal aesthetic. With five hours left until showtime, rehearsal is essential; the group has dance moves and vocal routines to practice. Given their passion for performing and familiarity with the stage, they helped choreograph many of the routines their perfecting. When asked who takes the longest to get ready, the members all point to Sunoo, who nonchalantly glances at the cameras before asking the question, 'Do I?' For Sunoo, his pre-show concert routine includes listening to band music, which is one of his favorite genres these days. (Similarly, Jungwon can't leave his hotel room without headphones.) The most crucial part of show day for Sunghoon is eating a light meal before he goes on stage, while Heeseung needs a bit of alone time to finish warming up.
