First Godzilla LEGO Ideas Set Roars To Life
Announced via a LEGO Ideas blog post, the two sets were chosen out of 54 qualifying product ideas, with the Godzilla build originally submitted by Matthew Esposito (aka MattE720) in December 2023, while the Tintin Rocket set was submitted by Alexis Dos Santos (aka TKEL86).
This will mark the first ever Godzilla set released by LEGO, an while its exact design, part count, pricing and release date has not been announced yet, fans can get a decent idea of what the final set might look like based on the original fan-made design, which will serve as the basis for the official build.
According to MattE720, his design was based on recent films like Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire , and considering that the LEGO Ideas line is primarily targeted at adult collectors, the final design should be appropriately large in scale, befitting of the King of the Monsters himself.
The Tintin rocket, on the other hand, features a faithful recreation of the iconic ship that appeared in the Destination Moon comic series, the sixteenth volume of The Adventures of Tintin , which was serialised weekly from March to September 1950 and April to October 1952 in Belgium's Tintin magazine.
These two approved sets mark the newest additions to the LEGO Ideas co-creation platform, which began in 2008 as LEGO Cuusoo and eventually relaunched as LEGO Ideas in 2014. Each set in the line begins as a fan submission, and upon reaching 10,000 supporters on LEGO's website, it enters the review stage, an extensive process to gain the final approval to be turned into an official set.
The LEGO Ideas Review Board is already hard at work on the next round of fan design reviews, a new batch of 57 product ideas that amassed 10,000 supporters each, with the final results due in September this year.

Finally, after all the rumours around a new, larger, and of course more costly LEGO Death Star expected to land some time in 2025, we now have a first peek at a leaked image of the upcoming 9,023-piece LEGO 95419 Death Star diorama set that is expected to release in October 2025 for US$999.99. According to the leaks, the set is expected to be 27.5 inches tall (70cm), 31 inches wide (79cm) and 10.5 inches deep (27cm). Many Star Wars fans are bound to be disappointed with this reveal, having given only a slice of a Death Star rather than a whole. But look on the bright side, We think this is great. Larian Studios Celebrates 2nd Anniversary Of 'Baldur's Gate 3' With Obscure Player Stats
It's common for video games to reveal player stats as part of milestone celebrations, but Larian Studios has switched things up for the second anniversary of Baldur's Gate 3 . While the studio previously highlighted major figures like the top three character classes per race and the most popular romance options, alongside fun nuggets of information (including the number of pats received for each pet and the percentage of players who had sex with Halsin's bear form), the focus is on obscure findings this time, which is as bizarre as it's in character. These achievements range from the percentage of players who defeated 20 opponents while drunk (2.07 percent) and defeating Gortash in Wyrm's Rock without activating any traps (3.87 percent, with more nimble-footed Steam players coming in at 4.37 percent) to 598 adventurers who adopted a child with Wyll. Elsewhere, 350 players re-specced Minsc into a Death Domain Cleric, and 6.24 percent managed to knock the dragon out of the sky midfight. There are also more general numbers — 1.1 million players have completed Baldur's Gate 3 in Tactician Mode, one of its highest difficulty settings, followed by almost half a million players in Honour Mode, which builds on Tactician Mode by adding tougher bosses, stricter rules, a single save slot, and more. Of the list, 4,647 players beat Honour Mode using only a Level 1 character, with 31,180 completing it as a Jack of All Trades. Another 'Game of Thrones' Alum Joins ‘3 Body Problem' As It Leaps Across Time And Space
Netflix's sci-fi saga 3 Body Problem is expanding its cast for season two, bringing in another Game of Thrones veteran, Alfie Allen ( Jojo Rabbit ), into the fold. Allen, best known for his role as Theon Greyjoy in Game of Thrones , has been cast in a recurring role for the upcoming season.
