Man appears dazed after falling off motorbike in Geylang
A motorcyclist fell to the ground at a traffic junction in Geylang in the early hours of May 28.
A Stomper alerted Stomp to a video posted by Facebook user Wilfred Tung of the incident that happened at Geylang Road at about 5.23am.
In the video, the traffic lights turn green but the motorcyclist has trouble moving off.
He eventually falls to the road with his bike.
Wilfred and a bus captain rush to the rider and help him lift his motorcycle upright.
In his post, Wilfred said that he suspects the rider was 'high' on Kpods - vape juice that is usually mixed with etomidate, an anaesthetic used in some non-surgical procedures.
Wilfred wrote: "I ask him, 'Eh bro, you okay or not?' He smile smile and say 'Sorry ahh, I tired'."
After noticing the rider holding something in his left hand, Wilfred asked him: "You sure is tired... or Kpods?"
"Eh please leh, your own life don't want cherish never mind, but don't sabo other people leh.
"And this stupid Kpods really destroy people."
Kpods have been linked to a number of recent cases involving erratic behaviour and public disturbances and have been described as a 'growing scourge' in Singapore.

Shuttle bus services and alternative train services were activated by rail operator Rapid KL for affected commuters during the evening peak hours. In a Facebook update close to 9pm, Rapid KL said rescue work was over and all alternative services were discontinued. In February, a visually impaired man was killed after accidentally falling onto the tracks at Kuala Lumpur's Titiwangsa LRT station and getting run over by a train. In 2018, a man died at the same Puchong station where the latest incident happened when he descended onto the tracks and got hit by an oncoming train. Singapore NParks Investigating Third Community Cat Death in Yishun with Legs Unusually Splayed
The National Parks Board (NParks) is investigating after a cat was discovered dead in Yishun with its legs stretched out in an unusual, splayed manner. NParks told CNA on Monday, June 2, that it "received feedback on a cat found dead at the foot of a staircase at Yishun Street 51 and is looking into the matter." "We urge the public not to speculate on the details of the case and allow investigations to run its proper course," the board told the portal. The incident was initially reported on Sunday, June 1, by the Facebook group Sayang Our Singapore's Community Cats, which included photographs of a dead cat discovered on what looks to be a Housing and Development Board (HDB) stairway landing. According to the poster, the cat was discovered near Block 510A in Yishun. A screenshot of a text message showed that a 24-hour hotline was called, but no help was given. According to CNA report, the 24-hour hotline was for a private veterinarian clinic. According to the post, this incident took place near the block where another cat was discovered dead in Yishun with serious injuries. This is the latest in a string of events in which cats in Yishun and Punggol were discovered dead and injured. In a Facebook post last month, Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam shared about another similar incident that took place in Yishun Street 51and said, "A community cat in Yishun had been tortured, eyes gouged out, body cut up and organs split." "What kind of person will do this? This is not who we are as a people," he added. Facebook page Sayang Our Singapore's Community Cats said that the cat was found "brutally tortured and left on the road in a failed attempt to disguise this crime as an accident". In a second occurrence, another cat was discovered hurt at the loading and unloading port at Block 326B, Sumang Walk, Punggol. According to NParks, the animal's injuries were most likely caused by a car accident rather than a purposeful act of cruelty. According to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), the number of animal cruelty and welfare cases in Singapore would reach a 12-year high of 961 in 2024.

Cyclist taken to hospital after accident with car in Aljunied
A 50-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital after an accident involving a car near the junction of Aljunied Road and Sims Avenue on June 1. The man was conscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), who, like the police, were alerted to the accident at around 5.05pm. A video of the incident posted on Facebook shows the cyclist landing on the front of a car and bouncing off it onto the road. It is unclear from the footage whether the cyclist had been struck by the vehicle. In photographs circulating on Facebook, the man is seen with one side of his face covered in blood following the accident. Uniformed officers tend to him as he is seated on a pavement. Two ambulances are parked nearby. Other images show a dark-coloured car with a partially shattered windscreen, possibly from the impact of the crash. Police investigations are ongoing. According to statistics from an open government data portal, 591 cyclists and pillions were injured in road traffic accidents in 2024. They accounted for approximately 6.3 per cent of the total 9,302 people injured in such accidents that year.
