CM Revanth extends Bonalu greetings
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has extended his warm greetings to the people of Telangana on the occasion of the Bonalu festival, which commenced from today and is celebrated annually with great fervour and gaiety.
The Chief Minister noted that the festive atmosphere will officially begin with the Bonalu festival in the Ashada month. He expressed his hope that everyone would celebrate this festival, a profound symbol of Telangana's culture and traditions, with utmost devotion. The first Bonam of the Ashada month is being offered to Jagadambika Yellamma, who originated from the historic Golconda, signifying the vibrant buzz the local festival brings to the twin cities.
On this auspicious occasion, the Chief Minister wished for the people to experience happiness, peace, and good health. He also expressed his hope that the state would receive bountiful rains and abundant crops, leading to progress in all fields with the blessings of the Goddess.
CM Revanth Reddy stated that the state government has made special arrangements for organising the Bonalu festival in the twin cities, having already released Rs 20 crore to provide facilities for devotees. The Chief Minister instructed police officers to ensure that devotees do not face any difficulties and to implement strict security measures to prevent any untoward incidents. Officials from all departments have been directed to work in close coordination.

Rana Daggubati, who comes from the illustrious Daggubati–Akkineni family, is the grandson of producer D Ramanaidu. Rana has previously shared that when his family moved to Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad, which is now one of the most posh areas of the city, it was a barren land with only a few houses. It was in one of these houses in Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills that Rana spent his childhood, and the house has now been converted into a restaurant called Sanctuary. The restaurant is located in a prime area in the city and the property is valued at around Rs 45 crore, as per ET Now. The basic structure of the house still stands, and the restaurant has been created inside the existing framework. In an earlier video shared on Aashritha Daggubati's YouTube channel Infinity Platter, Rana gave a tour of the house as he recalled some memories of his childhood. Rana, in a chat on Infinity Platter, shared that he would sneak out of the house in his childhood years when his grandfather wasn't keeping an eye on him. He also recalled that he once fell off the spiral staircase as he was trying to slide down the banister and hurt himself. Rana currently resides in a luxurious mansion in the Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad with his wife Miheeka.

Municipal engg workers stage protest
Puttaparthi: Municipal engineering workers staged a unique protest by kneeling in front of the Puttaparthi Municipality Office on Wednesday, demanding implementation of government welfare schemes and fair treatment. The protestors, raising slogans, urged authorities to implement welfare schemes for municipal engineering workers and to ensure equal pay for equal work. They highlighted their continuous hard work and dedication within municipal departments and demanded formal recognition as government employees. The workers further demanded a minimum monthly salary of Rs 26,000, along with inclusion in official welfare programmes, citing the essential nature of their services to urban administration. Protesters called on the government to acknowledge their efforts and extend them employee benefits, job security, and wage parity with permanent staff.
