Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro prices leak

GSM Arena3 days ago
Xiaomi is expected to unveil the 15T and 15T Pro next month, around a year after their predecessors. Ahead of that, today a new leak purports to give us the pricing information for both upcoming models in Europe.
Thus, the Xiaomi 15T is said to be offered in a single version, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, for €649. It will be available in gray, black, and gold.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro, on the other hand, will also come with 12GB of RAM but with two different storage configurations: 256GB for €799 and 512GB priced at €899. This one will also be offered in gray, black, and gold.
According to recent leaks, the Xiaomi 15T Pro will have a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50 MP main snapper using the OmniVision OVX9100 sensor (the same one found in the Xiaomi 15, apparently), a 50 MP telephoto camera using Samsung's ISOCELL JN5 sensor, and a 13 MP ultrawide using the OmniVision OV13B sensor. The handset is rumored to sport a 5,500 mAh battery with 90W wired charging support.
The 15T will swap out the main camera sensor for an OVX8000, also by OmniVision, and will only charge at up to 67W - while still sporting the same ultrawide and telephoto cameras and battery as its sibling. Xiaomi 15

Realme is teasing a phone with over 10,000 mAh battery that should make Apple and Samsung afraid

The concept phone Realme showed earlier this year | Image credit — Realme Earlier this year, Realme showed a prototype smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery, which was just 8.5 mm thick and 215 g. Now, the Chinese company is ready to announce an actual consumer device with an even larger battery. In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Realme teased a device with a battery bigger than 10,000 mAh. The teaser says that more details about the device will be revealed on August 27. Alongside the image teaser, Realme also posted a video with its Vice President, Chase Xu, which doesn't reveal more details about the device. However, in the caption, the company boasts about redefining limits. Realme's teaser for an over 10,000 mAh battery smartphone | Image credit — Realme The prototype we saw in May was based on Realme's GT lineup and used a silicon-anode battery technology. That technology enables manufacturers to make higher-density batteries, and it's likely what Realme will use in the upcoming device. NOT BIG ENOUGH? NOW, IT IS. realme 1x000mAh — redefines limits again. August 27. Witness the extreme. — realme Global (@realmeglobal) August 21, 2025 Even with the risk that Realme is overhyping this device, the potential to see a leap in battery capacity is exciting. Silicon-carbon batteries are getting more popular by the day, but they're facing some challenges, and the biggest smartphone manufacturers seem to avoid of the most popular flagship devices barely breach the 5,000 mAh mark. The Galaxy S25 Ultra has exactly a 5,000 mAh battery, but the iPhone 16 Pro lags behind with a 4,685 mAh battery. The brand-new Pixel 10 Pro XL, on the other hand, goes up to 5,200 mAh. One of the standouts on the US market is the OnePlus 13, which has a 6,000 mAh battery, but it also pales in comparison to many devices sold in China. For example, Xiaomi just released the Redmi Note 15 Pro, with a 7,000 mAh battery inside a 7.8 mm body – thinner than both Apple and Samsung's flagship phones. I am trying really hard not to get overly excited about Realme's announcement, but even the idea of solving modern smartphones' biggest issue sounds amazing. After so many years of battery anxiety, I'd love to finally return to the glory days of charging my phone once or twice a week. Good news everyone! The reason behind Google's decision Google has an explanation for its decision to abandon the Pixel Tablet , which sounds sensible on the surface. After Galaxy Z Fold 7, Apple has begun losing to Samsung in the U.S.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Samsung listening to feedback and making an excellent foldable smartphone this year has done wonders for the company. The stunningly pretty — and really powerful too — Galaxy Z Fold 7 has helped Samsung skyrocket its market share across the world, including in the to a recent report, Samsung's market share for the second half of the year in the States has risen to 31 percent. During this same time last year, with the release of the bulky Galaxy Z Fold 6, Samsung had only seen an increase of 23 percent. Furthermore, Apple's strong grip has slid down from 56 percent to 49 percent during this time. That is a steep fall, especially for a company that was recently losing market share in China as well. The rapid decline in interest by Chinese consumers had to be rectified by doing something that Apple normally never does: introduce discounts on the iPhone 16. Analysts believe that Apple's decline in the U.S. has two contributing factors. First, the new Galaxy foldables — especially because of how good they are — have given consumers a reason to switch to Samsung. Second, the volatility of President Trump's tariffs may have affected iPhone sales as well. Though, personally, I wouldn't put too much stock in that being the case. The iPhone 17 Pro is reportedly seeing a $50 increase in price. | Image credit — PhoneArena Samsung's previous foldables had been lagging behind compared to competitors. So much so, in fact, that the company actually introduced a newer model — the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE — in China, to better compete with domestic offerings in the market. This model would then go on to get a few more upgrades, like the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and be re-released as the Fold 7 that we all know and love. The Galaxy Z Fold 7's success proves that, if Samsung offers a competent product, consumers will flock to the Galaxy brand. This holds especially true if said consumers were already Android users prior. Now, all that remains to be seen is whether the foldable iPhone will be able to compete…whenever it comes out.
