Scottie Scheffler News Emerges on Tuesday After Memorial Win

Scottie Scheffler News Emerges on Tuesday After Memorial Win originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Scottie Scheffler is on an absolute tear this season, and his latest win at the Memorial Tournament only adds to his dominant run. The 27-year-old World No. 1 clinched his third PGA Tour title of the season with a 10-under-par 278 finish, topping runner-up Ben Griffin by four strokes. His steady play and clutch performances have fans glued to their screens and the numbers prove it. Advertisement CBS drew 3.063 million viewers for Sunday's final round, marking a 7% jump from last year's 2.855 million. That viewership surge is even more impressive compared to 2022's 2.319 million for Billy Horschel's win. Scheffler's final-round performance nearly matched the 2023 spike (3.115M) when Viktor Hovland pulled off a playoff victory. Weekend viewership averaged 2.782 million on CBS, a 14% year-over-year rise, with Saturday's third round pulling in 2.04 million viewers up 15% from 2023. According to the Daily Mail, he raked in an incredible $9.63 million in that span. And he wasn't the only one cashing in his caddie Ted Scott reportedly earned $963,000, more than many players on the PGA Tour's top 10 money list. Scottie's red-hot streak has not only boosted his bank account but also fueled fan interest in golf. 'Scheffler moves the needle,' one fan said online. With the RBC Canadian Open around the corner, fans are eager to see if the World No. 1 keeps up his momentum. One thing's clear when Scheffler plays, people tune in. What time does Money in the Bank start? WWE Money in the Bank card and predictions

If you like WWE, you're in for a huge Saturday. This weekend, not only will the promotion put on WWE Worlds Collide during the afternoon, the stars are coming back at night to figure out who will claim the golden tickets at Money in the Bank. When is Money in the Bank? WWE's Money in the bank will be held Saturday, June 10. What time does Money in the Bank start? Money in the Bank starts at 7 p.m. How to watch Money in the Bank In the United States, WWE Money in the Bank will air live on Peacock. It will also be available on traditional pay per view for $44.99. Where is Money in the Bank? WWE's Money in the Bank will be held at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Does Money in the Bank have a kickoff show? A kickoff show will begin at 6 p.m. Eastern, one hour before the show. It will likely begin after WWE Worlds Collide. It will air on WWE's Youtube page and on Peacock. WWE Money in the Bank match card Men's Money in the Bank match: Solo Sikoa vs. LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins vs. Penta vs. Andrade vs. El Grande Americano Women's Money in the Bank match: Giulia vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Naomi vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Rhea Ripley Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch, Women's Intercontinental championship match Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. John Cena and Logan Paul Money in the Bank predictions There are four matches on the card, which is one less than normal, but that could be thanks to the length of the ladder matches. Here's how we see it playing out. Men's Money in the Bank match I hope this match opens the show because if you have the tag team match after this, you have both champions in the ring. It makes the entire show more interesting because they're both exposed. So we open with the men's match, and I could make a case for everyone to win. I think I'm going outside the box for my pick, but I'm taking my guy Solo Sikoa. He's been struggling and this could add a layer to his story, which is my favorite thing on Smackdown right now. I love you Solo! You are my Money in the Bank winner! Women's Money in the Bank match Another match that features a bunch of stars that could make a case to win. The one difference between the men and the women's match is that no women world champions are on the show, so they'd need to figure out a way to have a winner cash in on the show. I think the best winner here would be Naomi. She earned it by taking a whooping at WrestleMania. She has been a great bad girl since turning this year, I think giving her the briefcase will springboard her into the next level. Would also like to see Alexa Bliss win, but official prediction is Naomi. Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch I can't believe I'm saying this, but Valkyria is holding her own with Lynch both in the ring and on the microphone. Valkyria really showed what she can do in this feud, and it's not hurting Lynch at all. She's still great. This has been a fun feud and this will be a fun match. I'm going with Lyra Valkyria winning too. It will only get her further up there as a top tier player. She's a star. I think Lynch winning would be better for the story, but Valkyria winning sets her up to keep shooting up the card. Prediction: Valkyria wins. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. John Cena and Logan Paul This match makes no sense on so many different levels. I'm happy that Jey Uso and Logan Paul are in a main event, but the other two are dragging them down a bit. The Cena bad guy just hasn't been very good. I'm not sure why, I was excited when it happened, but it's almost like a rehash of the Roman Reigns story with a guy who is nowhere near as hot or entertaining right now as the Tribal Chief! Cena is an all-time great, but this isn't working. His matches have been fine, and this should be a great match because it's four guys who are a lot of fun to watch. I think Uso is going to get "hurt" in this match which will soften him up for his rematch with Gunther on Monday. So I'm siding with John Cena and Logan Paul to win. And I'd love to see a cash in, but it depends on the match order. Prediction: Logan Paul and John Cena win. Seth Davis spoke out on CBS colleague Jay Wright's interest in Knicks opening

Seth Davis spoke out on CBS colleague Jay Wright's interest in Knicks opening The Knicks made the surprising move to fire head coach Tom Thibodeau on Tuesday despite leading New York to its first Eastern Conference Finals in 25 years. And right away, former Villanova head coach Jay Wright's name popped up as a possible replacement. Well, fans shouldn't expect Wright to join his former players Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges in New York — at least according to fellow CBS Sports college basketball analyst Seth Davis. Shortly after the news of Thibodeau's firing broke, Davis took to Twitter/X to throw water on the Knicks rumors on Wright's behalf. Davis joked that if the Knicks wanted to find a CBS personality who would say yes to the job, it would be ... Davis. While it would make sense for the Knicks to at least inquire about Wright's interest, it should come as no surprise that Wright would pass on the opportunity. He's 63 years old and seems to be enjoying himself in a low-stress, high-paying gig at CBS. Plus, would Wright really want to jeopardize his legacy and relationship with Brunson, Hart and Bridges if things went poorly in New York? There's no upside in taking that job considering his age and lack of NBA experience. If anything, Davis knows exactly where Wright stands on the matter. We should take that as a definitive no.
