The EURO 2025 group stage is over and the knockout rounds begin this week. First, though, there's time to highlight some of the young players lighting up the tournament so far.
The development of the stars of tomorrow is being supported by Just Eat, which pairs local, grassroots football with restaurant partners across Europe.

From their own grassroots beginnings to the biggest stage of all, here are our three players under the age of 21 to look out for when the quarter-finals begin:
Sydney Schertenleib
Hosts Switzerland started the tournament well against Norway but when they found themselves behind and needed a spark, they turned to 18-year-old Schertenleib from the bench.
Her ability to create something and her vision almost brought about an equaliser on that opening day and her display earned her a start in the two following group games, which saw her provide an assist for the opener against Finland.
Watch this space.
Vicky López
Another talent from Barcelona, López faced the daunting task of stepping in for Aitana Bonmatí at the start of the tournament.
She was entirely unfazed.
López, 18, shone and scored in the 5-0 win over Portugal, then assisted in the 6-2 defeat of Belgium, and offered a different kind of threat out wide off the bench in the win against Italy.
Signe Gaupset
Introduced midway through Norway's second game, with them level against Finland but struggling to impress, Gaupset offered a real threat down the left.
That performance saw her earn a star against Iceland and the winger, who turned 20 in June, was the best player on the pitch, scoring twice and assisting twice in a 4-3 win.
Look out for her against Italy on Wednesday.

Rashford in Spain to finalise Barca loan move

striker is currently in Spain to finalise a season-long loan transfer to . The 27-year-old touched down in Catalonia on Sunday evening, having received the green light from United to complete the necessary steps of his switch to the La Liga side. Photos of Rashford stepping off a private aircraft in Barcelona quickly made the rounds on social media. Negotiations between the two clubs advanced rapidly over the past few days, culminating in a provisional agreement being reached over the weekend. United have since authorised the move, which will see Rashford join on an initial year-long loan, with a purchase clause included. Rashford has favoured a move to Barcelona ever since announcing in December his desire for a fresh start, following his omission from the squad by United boss Ruben Amorim. This marks Rashford's second loan in as many seasons, following a short-term spell with Aston Villa during the latter half of the previous campaign. He is expected to undergo a medical with Barcelona early this week, with the aim of joining their pre-season tour in Japan and South Korea, which begins on Thursday.

Barcelona likely to debut new away kit during Asian pre-season tour

According to Mundo Deportivo, it has been learned that Barcelona will officially debut their new away kit for the 2025/26 season during their upcoming pre-season tour of Asia. The club is expected to wear the fresh design for the first time in their friendly against Vissel Kobe, scheduled for Sunday, July 27th at the Noevir Kobe Stadium in Japan. With the home kit already launched and proving to be a massive hit in terms of sales, attention now turns to the away strip. The official release of the second kit is just around the corner, and Barça fans won't have to wait long to see it in action. The club is considering debuting the new kit in the first match of the tour, mainly to avoid a colour clash with Vissel Kobe's traditional maroon shirts. The sheath symbol in new kit What makes this away kit even more special is its connection to basketball legend Kobe Bryant. The shirt will feature 'The Sheath' symbol, famously associated with Bryant. Nike has used this emblem on its Kobe Bryant line since partnering with him in 2003. The term 'Sheath' refers to the case that holds a sword. In an interview with Esquire, Bryant explained the meaning behind the symbol. 'The sword is talent, but the sheath is what contains it—life experience, discipline, and effort,' he said. This philosophy aligns with Barcelona's values of combining talent with hard work and determination. On July 27th, at the Noevir Kobe Stadium, fans could witness this special kit on the pitch. For Barcelona, it would be a fitting tribute to a sporting icon while marking the start of a new season with fresh energy.
