Taylor Swift goes edgy in new 'The Life of a Showgirl' album cover
In the edgy new cover, the singer-songwriter wore a sparkly black bodysuit with red details, matching gloves, and fishnet stockings.
The cover is for 'The Life of a Showgirl: The Shiny Bug Vinyl Collection,' which is available on Taylor's website for 48 hours.
'The Life of a Showgirl' comes out on October 3. The title track is a collaboration featuring Sabrina Carpenter.
In May, Taylor bought back the rights to her entire music catalog after being locked in a feud with record executives since 2019 over ownership of her music.
Prior to this, she has been releasing re-recorded versions, or the 'Taylor's Version,' of her past albums.
Taylor's last album, 'The Tortured Poets Department,' came out in 2024.

Cinemalaya 2025 announces dates, venue
Cinemalaya season is almost here! The independent film festival announced on their social media accounts the dates and venue for the upcoming edition. Cinemalaya is officially happening from October 3 to 12 at the Shangri-La Plaza Cinemas in Mandaluyong City. "Fearless films. New voices. Stories that stay with us," Cinemalaya teased on Instagram. "Stay tuned as we journey toward another unforgettable festival," the fest added. The Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival is an annual event that champions Filipino independent films and shorts. It is traditionally held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines and extends to various cinemas, but the center is currently being renovated.
