Last year, girls outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 97.23 per cent, compared to 96.89 per cent among boys. A total of 14.35 lakh students appeared for the exams last year, and 13.93 lakh successfully cleared them. Students securing an E grade were not failed but were asked to appear for supplementary exams. District-wise, Sikar recorded the best performance, followed by Dausa, Alwar, Ajmer, and Nagaur. The pass percentage for private schools, last year, was 97.04 per cent, while in government schools, the pass percentage was 96.79 per cent.

Rajasthan Board Exam 2025: The detailed date sheet is available on the official Rajasthan Board website – The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced the date sheet for the supplementary examinations in 2025. The Class 10th and Class 12th supplementary exams will commence on August 6 and conclude on August 8. The exams will be held from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. The detailed date sheet is available on the official Rajasthan Board website – This year, more than 30,000 students will take the Class 10 supplementary exam, with 16,304 boys and 14,295 girls in the supplementary category. To pass the Class 10 (secondary) and Class 12 (senior secondary) exams, students must achieve at least 33 per cent marks or a grade 'D' in each subject and overall. Here are some exam day guidelines for class 10th and 12th students: — Students should write their name or roll number only in the designated space on the answer sheet and nowhere else. — The use of calculators, mobile phones, pagers, digital diaries, or any other electronic devices in the examination hall is strictly prohibited. — It is mandatory to write the roll number in the specified place on the question paper as well. — After completing the question paper, students should write 'finished" on the last page of the answer sheet and draw a diagonal line through any remaining blank pages. Rajasthan Board released the class 10 results 2025 on May 28. This year, a total of 10,94,186 students had registered for the secondary and secondary vocational examinations, of which 10,71,460 appeared. The overall pass percentage stood at 93.60 per cent. Last year, the class 10 board exams recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.03 per cent. In case of class 12, a total of 97.70 per cent of arts stream students, 94.43 per cent science and 99.07 per cent commerce students cleared the exam this time. Meanwhile, the overall pass rate stands at 98.43 per cent with 98.07 per cent boys and 99.02 per cent girls clearing the exam this time. Extra-curricular activities, yoga now compulsory: RBSE
Jaipur: Rajasthan Board of School Education (RBSE) has decided to incorporate changes in its teaching methodology and mandate extra-curricular activities for students from the new academic session starting July 1. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The tweaks in teaching styles in the 2025-26 academic calendar include allocation of subjects in the timetable based on the difficulty levels. After a relatively difficult subject, an easier subject is recommended for students to understand concepts easily. "As far as possible, main subjects should be taught in the first six periods," the academic calendar says. To encourage reading, library sessions have been made compulsory for every student every week. In govt senior secondary schools, clubs such as Child Rights Club, Forest and Environment Club, Science Club, Road Safety Club, and Tourism Club, and similar activities have been made compulsorily. For tobacco control, a tobacco monitor will also be appointed in every class. Under the school-based assessment scheme of RBSE, "it will be compulsory for every student to participate in one of the literary and cultural activities run in the school for class 9 and 10." To spread awareness about child rights and protection, Bal Sabhas will be conducted to inform children of the ill effects of child marriage, and information related to road safety, among other things. A cleanliness fortnight will also be observed from Sept 1-15 for all classes. Under the state's Anaemia Free Rajasthan programme, all Tuesdays will be celebrated as Shakti Diwas, an initiative to distribute iron and folic acid pills to students.
