Barcelona ready to grant Marcus Rashford dream transfer from Man Utd as strict conditions are set out
BARCELONA are interested in a loan move for out of favour Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
The England ace opened the door for a switch to the Nou Camp at the weekend by saying he would love to play with teen sensation Lamine Yamal.

And the Spanish giants are interested in making it happen - although they are unlikely to offer a permanent switch.
They are looking to sign Nico Williams from rivals Athletic Bilbao and that will use up a huge chunk of their summer budget if they meet his £53 million release zone.
But coach Hansi Flick is also an admirer of Rashford and Barca will explore if a loan move with a view to a permanent deal is possible.
His versatility to play on the wings or down the middle as back up to Robert Lewandowski makes him an interesting option.
United would prefer to sell him now but are also keen to get his £370,000 per week wages off the books.
The 27-year-old, plus Jadon Sancho and Antony, are viewed as the priority sales as United look to balance the books this summer.
SunSport exclusively revealed last week that Newcastle are keen on Rashford.
The Magpies are battling to keep star attacker Alexander Isak amid interest from Arsenal and especially Liverpool.

But Toon chief Eddie Howe is determined to keep the Swede - and wants Rashford as an extra option for Newcastle 's Champions League venture.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce have bid £15million for Sancho.

Gyokeres trying to force Arsenal move | Newcastle eye Rashford deal | Transfers Exposed
It follows Chelsea having to pay a £5million penalty for declining to turn the 23-cap Englishman's loan into a permanent move.
The future of fellow 25-year-old wideman Antony is equally unclear.
The Brazilian shone on loan at Real Betis in the second half of last season.
There's been talk of interest from another LaLiga club - but nothing firm so far.

Bryan Mbeumo holds private talks about Man Utd transfer after latest bid
Manchester United's efforts to sign Bryan Mbeumo continue as two of Ruben Amorim's current players outline their stance on their future amid reports of a swap deal Manchester United summer transfer window is an important one for Ruben Amorim. The Portuguese coach is hoping to have a renewed squad in time for his first pre-season with the club. But with plenty to improve after a 15th place finish in the Premier League last term, only Matheus Cunha has arrived so far. United signed the forward in a £62.5million deal from Wolves. More is required however as the Red Devils look to strengthen their forward line. Talk over the futures of Bryan Mbeumo and Viktor Gyokeres remains but United appear to have made little progress in getting their next deal over the line. And there are exits to facilitate too. Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Jadon Sancho do not appear to have futures under Amorim but the club have yet to find a transfer fee for any. Mirror Football takes a look at the latest transfer news and rumours round Old Trafford. Man Utd's secret weapon Manchester United have launched a new bid for Bryan Mbeumo worth more than £60m amid interest from Tottenham and he has already been speaking to a potential new team-mate about the move. Mbeumo has already indicated his willingness to join United but has since seen a bid arrived for his services from Spurs, who are now coached by the player's former boss Thomas Frank. Mbeumo starred for Brentford under Frank last season and scored 20 Premier League goals to garner interest from around the Premier League. And while Frank's new position could help Tottenham's quest to sign the player, United have their own asset in the fight. Goalkeeper Andre Onana has been in contact with Mbeumo about joining the club, per reports. United's shotstopper is an international teammate of Mbeumo and the pair are said to have 'spoken about linking up' under Ruben Amorim. Garnacho's preference Alejandro Garnacho is keen on a move to Chelsea this summer, opening the door to a potential eye-catching swap deal with Christopher Nkunku. Manchester United boss Amorim has told Garnacho to find a new clubin the summer transfer window. Napoli saw a bid rejected in January and Chelsea were among the interested parties during the winter window. The Blues appear to remain interest with a swap deal involving Garnacho and Christopher Nkunku touted. Direct talks have yet been held but the Athletic reports that Garnacho would be open to the Stamford Bridge move because he wants to stay in the Premier League. The Blues are closing in on the signing Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens however which could make a transfer more difficult. Onana's transfer stance Andre Onana wants to stay at Manchester United despite speculation over his future. The former Inter Milan and Ajax star wants to prove he deserves to remain the club's No.1 even though Monaco have enquired over his availability. Onana has told friends he wants to stay and fight to keep his first-choice status after signing from Inter Milan for £47.2m in 2023. The Cameroon international did deliver a cryptic reponse whe asked if he could leave United this summer however. "Will I leave?" he said. 'I don't know, we'll see." The 29-year-old drew interest from Monaco and the Saudi Pro League, where he could have doubled his £120,000-a-week salary. But sources close to Onana have revealed his desire to remain at Old Trafford.

Tennis bad boy Bernard Tomic stuns his critics with four-year first as he tries to resurrect his career
The party was over years ago, and his name remains the object of criticism, not to say ridicule in many quarters, but veteran Australian bad-boy Bernard Tomic is plotting a quiet revival. It has been some time since he was making headlines, often for the wrong reasons, but he passed a modest professional milestone at the Mallorca Country Club on Tuesday. And brighter days could lie ahead for the 32-year-old, who has won four ATP titles and reached a high point of No.17 on the world rankings list in 2016. His Mallorca Open first-round defeat of fellow Australian Rinky Hijikata was his first win on the main Tour since the 2021 Australian Open. The world No.248, a qualifier at the Iberian tournament, will now face home hope Roberto Bautista Agut. Having narrowly missed the cut-off for Wimbledon qualifying, Tomic decided not to hang around in the hope of a late withdrawal in London. Instead, he packed his bags and headed to the Spanish island of Mallorca, home of 22-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal, and what he hoped would be another step on the long road back. Over the weekend he defeated Jasper De Jong, a Dutchman ranked 93 who recently won a round at the French Open, and Aleksandar Kovacevic, an American who sits at 77, to qualify for an event where the winner pockets A$250,000. Far from the big stages of sport, Tomic has been slogging it out on the tour backwaters in lower-level and Challenger events in an attempt to break back into the top 100. It is all a distance from his colourful - and troubled - life in the limelight. The talent was there, he was once heralded as one of Australia's most promising stars, but it was so often overshadowed by brushes with various branches of officialdom, bust-ups with spectators and accusations of tanking. He even made a much-derided and very short-lived appearance on the TV reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here in 2018. On a darker side, there was the investigation for alleged match-fixing in 2022, though no charges were laid. Fast forward three years and perhaps a revival stirs. The Gold Coaster's defeat of Hijikata, who has already qualified for the main draw at Wimbledon, means he will jump to a spot just outside the top 200, which would put him in the frame to play in qualifying for the US Open in New York in late August.
