Florida man wins $10 million with scratch-off game from 7-Eleven

A Miami-Dade man scratched a ticket and scored a $10 million jackpot, according to a May 16 release from the Florida Lottery.
Enrique Albo, 57, of Hialeah, bought a $20 Gold Rush legacy scratch-off game in January from a 7-Eleven at 7520 N.W. 186th Street. He chose to take his winnings in a lump-sum payment of $6,030,000.
That leaves two of the four $10 million jackpots in this game still available. An Alabama woman, Jessica Ann Callihan, won the first in August 2024 with a ticket she bought in Pensacola, according to Florida Lottery data.
The 7-Eleven received a $20,000 bonus commission for selling it.
The $20 scratch-off game Gold Rush Legacy features four top prizes of $10 million and 20 prizes of $1 million, the Florida Lottery said. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.97.
According to lottery data, 10 people have won $1 million in this game since 2024. The most recent one announced was Douglas Marbry, who bought his ticket at a Melbourne Circle K in April.
The odds of winning $1 million in the game are 1 in 3,008,565. The odds of winning the $5 million are 1 in 15,042,825.
Meanwhile, no one won the Mega Millions Friday night and the estimated jackpot for Tuesday's drawing is $139 million.
The Powerball lottery jackpot also rolled over and is now an estimated $134 million for Monday's drawing.

The scratch-off game with the best odds of winning something may be Gold Rush Limited, where you have a 1-in-2.65 chance of winning something, according to lottery officials.
The game with the biggest single payment jackpot remaining is the $50 500X the Cash, which has one $25 million jackpots still in play (odds of winning, 1-in-21,920,355). The two $25 million jackpots from $25,000,000 Gold Rush Multiplier have been claimed.
Next would be the $30 300X the Cash, which has two $15 million jackpots left. You've got a 1-in-11,701,050 shot at one of those.
For potentially the most total cash, depending on your likely lifespan, spending $50 for a chance at $1,000,000 a Year for Life Spectacular (minimum $25 million) is the biggest value. Both of those jackpots are still up for grabs, with odds of 1-in-21,727,995.
