Yemen: "Iran's Arming of Houthis Hinders Peace, Fuels Conflict"
Noman said Iran should have learned 'harsh lessons' from the thousands killed across the Arab world and the destruction of vital infrastructure that has drained regional resources. Instead, he said, Tehran continues to supply its allies with arms, fueling 'ventures that bring misery to Yemenis.'
His remarks came two days after Yemen's National Resistance forces (NRF), led by Brig. Gen. Tariq Saleh, thwarted a major Iranian arms smuggling attempt off the coast of Hodeidah in western Yemen.
The intercepted shipment reportedly included advanced sea-to-air and air-to-air missile systems, air defense units, modern radar equipment, drones, surveillance devices, and anti-tank missiles destined for the Houthis.
Noman praised the Coast Guard's 'precision operation' launched from their bases in Al-Mokha, calling it 'a reassuring signal of vigilance and readiness.'
He urged recognition of the 'tremendous efforts' by the National Resistance and Coast Guard forces despite limited technical and military resources.
Moreover, Noman condemned Iran's actions as obstructing United Nations-led peace efforts in Yemen. 'It is regrettable that Iran persists in hostile policies against the Yemeni people by continuing to arm the Houthis with large quantities of weapons that negatively impact efforts to end the conflict,' he said.
He added that instead of supporting peace, the Iranian government 'continues to place obstacles in the path of every peace initiative led by UN envoy Hans Grundberg.'
Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla, commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM), praised the actions of the NRF saying.
'We commend the legitimate government forces of Yemen who continue to interdict the flow of Iranian munitions bound for the Houthis,' he said.
'The interdiction of this massive Iranian shipment shows that Iran remains the most destabilizing actor in the region. Limiting the free flow of Iranian support to the Houthis is critical to regional security, stability, and freedom of navigation,' he added.

IDF Intercepts Houthi Drone Launched from Yemen
Israeli military announced it had successfully intercepted a Drone launched by Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis. The missile, reportedly aimed at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, triggered air raid sirens across central Israel and Jerusalem, prompting civilians to seek shelter. The Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack, stating it was part of their ongoing campaign in solidarity with Palestinians amid the Gaza conflict. This marks the 66th missile launched by the group since the end of the Gaza ceasefire in March. Israeli defense officials confirmed that the missile was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force before reaching its target, and no casualties or damage were reported. In response, Israel carried out airstrikes on Houthi-controlled infrastructure in Yemen's Hodeidah port, targeting what it described as military assets used to stage attacks. The Houthis have vowed to continue their operations until Israel halts its offensive in Gaza and lifts the blockade. Meanwhile, Israeli officials warned that further provocations would be met with decisive retaliation.

Palestinian Al-Ahrar Movement: Airdropped aid is just "Whitewashing the Enemy's Face with Arab Hands"
Gaza – Saba: The Palestinian Al-Ahrar Movement stated on Wednesday that the airdropping of aid into the Gaza Strip is nothing more than an attempt to "whitewash the face of the Zionist enemy with Arab hands." In a press statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the movement expressed regret over the extent to which some Arab countries have aligned themselves with the policies of the Zionist enemy, participating in the starvation of the Palestinian people by dropping aid in a humiliating and degrading manner. The movement emphasized that everyone knows these airdropped supplies amount to less than half a truckload—insufficient to feed even ten Palestinian families or save them from hunger. It added, "Today, the enemy, with the involvement of these Arab states, is trying to deceive the international community by claiming it is facilitating aid through various means. Its malicious propaganda promotes the false narrative that Gaza is flooded with aid, all to evade international pressure and whitewash its ugly image before the world's nations, which are becoming increasingly aware of the criminal nature of this entity and its Nazi-like leaders." The movement called on the United Nations and its international institutions, particularly UNRWA, to expose the Zionist enemy's policy of starving Gaza and its collaborators. It urged them to provide all evidence confirming the enemy's crimes, lies, and deceit before the world and international courts, proving the use of starvation as a weapon of war to break and subjugate the Palestinian people. Additionally, the movement demanded that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) condemn the Zionist entity for using starvation as a weapon of war, prosecute its leaders as terrorist war criminals, and bring them to trial, ensuring they do not escape punishment. "Palestinian Ahrar Movement condemns Arab silence & international inaction amid ongoing bloodshed in Gaza"
Gaza – Saba: The Palestinian Ahrar Movement on Tuesday strongly condemned the Arab silence and international failure to stop the ongoing bloodshed in the Gaza Strip. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the movement called on the United Nations, its affiliated bodies, all human rights and humanitarian organizations to take a bold stance against the acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza. The movement urged a break from silence and immediate, active intervention to halt the systematic war crimes being committed against innocent civilians over the past 22 months — including massacres, starvation, and the destruction of all aspects of life. It emphasized the need to implement international law and court rulings that demand the condemnation and prosecution of Zionist war criminals — chiefly war criminal Netanyahu and his fascist government — and to ensure they do not escape punishment. The statement highlighted that the continued massacres and daily atrocities across the Gaza Strip — including the killing of dozens since dawn in Israeli Nazi military airstrikes on residential neighborhoods, displacement camps, shelters, and aid distribution points — confirm that the enemy shows no regard for the international community, international law, or the consequences of its widespread war crimes. It noted that over 81 martyrs, including 32 aid seekers, have been killed so far today. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
