5 injured in multi-vehicle crash on Hwy 73 in Huntersville: Medic
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Five people are hurt following a multi-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Huntersville, according to Medic and emergency personnel.
Huntersville Fire reported crews were responding to a multi-vehicle wreck Thursday along Hwy 73 on the bridge over the river by McGuire nuclear station. Crews reported the area was very icy.

Firefighters had to rescue at least one person who was trapped inside their vehicle.
Medic confirmed with Queen City News five people were hurt in the accident. Mecklenburg and Lincoln County units responded to the crash scene.
Medic reports as far as accidents go, it's been the 'most severe here in Huntersville.'

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A tractor-trailer crash is causing major traffic delays on I-85 North near Tuckaseegee Road Thursday morning, after the vehicle veered into the median, possibly striking support beams beneath an overpass. The accident happened around 8:54 a.m. near Mile Marker 35. 1 seriously injured in crash on I-85 South in northwest Charlotte: NCDOT
