There are few things more satisfying than putting on a helmet that instantly makes you feel like part of the Star Wars universe — especially when that helmet looks like it's been pulled straight off a speeder bike on Endor.
I tried the Black Series Scout Trooper Helmet from Hasbro Pulse to celebrate May the 4th, and to put it simply, it is an absolute treat for fans.
This is not some flimsy party prop. The helmet arrives in a sharp-looking box that makes a solid first impression. The packaging alone tells you this is meant for serious collectors.
The helmet itself is robust, with a hard plastic shell and a surprisingly high level of detail both inside and out.
The sculpt is clean and it has that polished, screen-accurate look you want in a proper replica.
Inside, the detailing continues. There are textured sections, false circuitry panels and little touches that, while completely unnecessary, elevate the whole piece.

These are the kinds of details that no one will really see once it is on your head or your shelf — but knowing they are there adds to the overall quality and care that has gone into the design.
One of the main features is the built-in voice changer. Hit the button and your voice comes through with a distorted, trooper-like crackle that adds a surprising amount of fun.
It is loud and clear and gives the helmet a bit of life beyond just being decorative. Great if you're into cosplay or just fancy shouting 'Rebel scum' at your cat.
Comfort-wise, the helmet mostly holds up. It comes with a padded insert at the top that can be removed and cleaned, as well as an adjustable chin strap.
Unfortunately, it sat a little loosely on my head, and I found myself wishing it had one of those internal tightening dials like you get with a VR headset. I think an adjustment like that would have made such a difference to the fit of the helm.
It is not a deal-breaker, and my partner — who has a much larger head — managed to wear it just fine with a snug fit.
It is probably safe to say it will fit most people, though some may need to adjust the padding slightly to get it sitting right.
The visor is fully tinted, giving that dark, menacing trooper look, but it does not ruin visibility.
I could see clearly through it without any tunnel vision or awkward blind spots. From the outside, your face is completely hidden, which is great for the look, and from the inside, you can walk around confidently without risk of bumping into things.

One of the most useful touches is the flip-up visor. It makes getting the helmet on and off far easier, and it means you can quickly lift it if you need a breather, want to speak to someone, or grab a snack between scenes at a convention.
It might sound like a small design feature, but it makes a big difference in comfort and practicality.
The Scout Trooper has always been one of the cooler looking variants in the Empire's ranks.
Sleek, light-armoured and fast, they are a step up from the classic Stormtrooper in both design and attitude.
This helmet nails that sharp, tactical look, and whether you are displaying it on a shelf or wearing it to a fan event, it just looks right.
There is nothing over-the-top about it, no lights or gimmicks, just strong, clean design done properly.
This product comes from Hasbro Pulse, the branch of Hasbro that caters to collectors.
At £104.99, the Scout Trooper helmet sits firmly in premium territory, but it is a solid treat for die-hard fans and costume passionate who want something that feels authentic, wearable or simply great to display at home.

Gavin Newsom Recasts Trump as Iconic ‘Star Wars' Villain

California Governor Gavin Newsom mocked President Donald Trump in a series of TikToks comparing him to a Star Wars villain. Newsom's press office took to X on Tuesday to share two TikToks of what appeared to be the AI-generated voice of Star Wars antagonist Emperor Palpatine, who was played by Ian McDiarmid, reading two of Trump's Truth Social posts. Both posts denounced the Los Angeles protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), with the president calling them 'lawless riots.' The first video showcased one of the president's Truth Social posts from Sunday with clips of Stormtroopers and music from the film franchise playing in the background. The caption read: 'A ONCE GREAT AMERICAN CITY HAS BEEN OCCUPIED!' 'Order will be restored, the illegals will be expelled, and Los Angeles will be set free,' said the AI Emperor, dictating the president's post. Another video with the caption 'LOS ANGELES WOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY OBLITERATED!' had a similar structure, this time with one of Trump's Truth Social posts from Monday. 'The very incompetent 'Governor,' Gavin Newscum, and 'Mayor,' Karen Bass, should be saying, 'THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP, YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL. WE WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT YOU, SIR,'' said Palpatine's voice, as Star Wars music blared in the background. Newsom and Trump have been locked in this back-and-forth trading of insults since Saturday, when the president announced that he would be deploying the National Guard to L.A. to quash anti-ICE protests. The California governor wrote on X that 'the federal government is sowing chaos so they can have an excuse to escalate. That is not the way any civilized country behaves.' Trump and the Governor continued to go at it both online and in interviews, with the president even suggesting on Monday that his border czar, Tom Homan, should arrest Newsom. 'I like Gavin, he's a nice guy, but he's grossly incompetent. Everyone knows that,' Trump said. Trump is known for posting AI-generated photos and videos on his own social media accounts, as well as the White House's accounts. A notable example was a Studio Ghibli-style AI cartoon of a crying woman being handcuffed by an ICE officer, which was posted on the White House's official X account back in March. Trump also sparked outrage when he posted an AI-edited photo of him as the Pope on Truth Social days before the papal conclave convened to deliberate on who to name the new pope following Pope Francis' death in April.

Hulu is one of the best streaming services out there, with plans starting at just $10. It's also one of the easiest services to bundle with other streamers, including Disney Plus, ESPN Plus, and Max. The best Hulu bundles can save you over 40% on your monthly streaming costs. The Disney Plus website has a helpful outline of all available Hulu, Disney Plus, ESPN Plus, and Max bundle opportunities. Hulu and Disney Plus are always paired together in these bundles, and you can decide whether you want to add on ESPN Plus or Max as well. Bundles start at $11 a month for Hulu and Disney Plus, which is just $1 more than it costs to subscribe to one of the ad-supported streamers alone. Hulu was rated best for fans of ABC and FOX in our guide to the best streaming services. The streamer has a massive selection of on-demand programming from ABC and FOX, offering everything from "The Bachelor" to "Bob's Burgers," as well as its own selection of popular original series. While standalone Hulu has a 30-day free trial for new and eligible returning customers, this doesn't extend to other Disney-owned streamers. However, there are a few different ways you can still get the ad-supported Disney Plus and Hulu bundle for free, at least for a few days. The ad-supported Hulu + Live TV subscription (which costs $83 a month) comes with a three-day free trial, which means you can try out the ad-supported Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus bundle during that period. DirecTV's MyEntertainment genre pack, a month-to-month entertainment and lifestyle-focused cable alternative, offers 40+ live channels and the ad-supported Disney Plus and Hulu bundle (in addition to ad-supported Max).
