Infor RMS to boost revenue strategies with AI-driven insights for hoteliers

Yahoo17-02-2025
Business cloud software company Infor has launched its new revenue management solution (RMS) designed specifically for the hospitality sector.
This AI and machine learning-driven platform aims to transform how hotels and resorts manage their pricing and revenue, leveraging advanced algorithms to provide hoteliers with enhanced control over their optimisation processes.
Infor hospitality strategy vice-president Alan Young said: "In today's dynamic hospitality landscape, access to real-time, AI-driven insights is crucial for maintaining a competitive edge.
"Our new RMS empowers revenue managers to evolve into strategic decision-makers, effectively translating data into tangible financial outcomes."
The Infor RMS platform offers features that streamline operations, support decision-making, and increase profitability across various revenue centres. These include guest rooms, event spaces, and food and beverage outlets.
The system's customisable dashboard allows access to essential KPIs through a widget gallery, offering personalised screens that cater to different business needs and models.
Multi-dimensional pricing capability of the solution provides detailed optimisation down to the room type level, incorporating derived rates and flexible rate setup.
Dynamic configurability makes the system adaptable to various property types, including resorts and casinos.
AI-powered automation delivers insights for strategic planning and decision support while adaptive user personas ensure intuitive interfaces and high adoption rates.
The RMS also transforms data into actionable revenue strategies using Infor's data lake technology and a hospitality-centric large language model.
The system's automation options allow for manual, fully automated, or semi-automated operation, with real-time data streaming and continuous re-forecasting to maintain optimal pricing strategies.
Young added: "The ability to tailor automation to each property's specific requirements is a significant advantage.
"Whether it's a boutique hotel requiring hands-on control or a large chain seeking full automation, Infor RMS adapts to deliver targeted success across various operational models."
In January 2024, Valley View Casino & Hotel in Southern California, US, upgraded to Infor's hospitality technology solutions, modernising its operations to enhance the guest experience.
"Infor RMS to boost revenue strategies with AI-driven insights for hoteliers" was originally created and published by Hotel Management Network, a GlobalData owned brand.
