Jonathan Bailey Is Ready For "Slutty Little Glasses" Summer, And It's A Trend I Never Want To End

When the trailer was released for Jonathan Bailey's new movie, Jurassic World Rebirth, fans could not stop talking about his character's appearance, particularly the frames sitting upon his face. He kept the conversation going when he wore these shades on Tuesday at the world premiere of the sci-fi action film at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, England. Well, it turns out there's a trendy name for this eyewear: slutty little glasses. Yep, you read that right. During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight at the premiere, Jonathan was asked, "What do you think of fans' reactions to your slutty little glasses?" Jonathan responded, "Slutty little glasses? Are you allowed to say the 'S' word?" "Listen, Blakely Thornton came up with that. So, copyright, where copyright is due." Jonathan was referring to Blakely, the internet personality who describes himself as a "pop culture anthropologist." He coined the term "slutty little glasses" and even created an Instagram page dedicated to sharing images and videos of men wearing them. The term typically (but not exclusively) refers to trendy thin, wire-frame glasses that give the person wearing them personality. The social media page was filled with a range of male heartthrobs like Pedro Pascal, Ryan Coogler, Chris Evans, Keith Powers, Eric Dane, Jonathan, of course, and more. Related: From Florence Pugh To Zoë Kravitz, Here's All The Celebrities Who Rocked Sheer Or Naked Dresses "I'm thrilled that people having a hormonal explosion linked to optical support," Jonathan continued. "But, I think, yeah, glasses can go a long way. So, let's have the summer of slutty little glasses." But that wasn't the only thing he was hoping to see more of this season. Jonathan is also a big supporter of flip-flops and hats, noting he wears "a cap every day of the year." "I believe feeling confident, feeling cool, is about wearing what you love. I'll just wear my little glasses." Related: Here Are 10 Celebs Who've Publicly Admitted The Reasons Why They Regret Ending Their Marriages Amen! Jodie Comer says being led by Danny Boyle in 28 Years Later was a ‘proper dream'

Jodie Comer has said being led by director Danny Boyle on the set of 28 Years Later was a 'proper dream'. Comer, who is best known for playing the antagonist Villanelle in the hit BBC series Killing Eve, was speaking at the 28 Years Later world premiere in Leicester Square on Wednesday evening. 28 Years Later is set in the same world as the 2002 apocalyptic horror 28 Days Later, which saw Cillian Murphy play a bicycle courier who awakes from a coma to discover the accidental release of a highly contagious, aggression-inducing virus has caused the breakdown of society. The new instalment follows on almost three decades since the virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory, where some have found a way to exist amid the infected despite an enforced quarantine. When one of the group leaves the gated island they are residing on for a mission to the mainland, they discover secrets and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well. Comer features in the film alongside Ralph Fiennes and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Comer said on Wednesday: 'I was honoured when I got this script through. 'And you know, with the opportunity to sit down with Danny, who's a filmmaker who I've admired for a very long time, and to be kind of led by him and be on one of his sets is a proper dream.' She added that Boyle leads a 'calm, playful, fun' set. 28 Years Later will be screened in cinemas from Friday.

Woman who has never walked climbs O2 Arena

An artist who has never been able to walk has climbed the O2 Arena roof to raise money for charity. Amber Donovan, from Bury St Edmunds, has cerebral palsy and is a full-time wheelchair user. She enjoys Suffolk Artlink's Brave Art programme, which allows those with learning disabilities and neurodivergent people to try out creative opportunities. With a special wheelchair and a team behind her, Ms Donovan climbed the O2 in London to fundraise for the charity, which, she said, "means a lot" to her. Prior to the feat, she said she was "not scared, but a little bit nervous". Ms Donovan's support worker Kayleigh Jennings was a part of the team climbing with her. "She's going to go in a special wheelchair and a lovely man is going to pull her to the top," Ms Jennings explained. "She's doing it for a good cause for Brave Art because they need some money to put on some more courses." Ms Donovan set herself a fundraising target of £500, but has so far raised more than £1,400. Suffolk Artlink's Charlie Meyer described Ms Donovan as a "talented, expressive and playful artist". "She has discovered a love of collage and is never afraid of experimenting and trying new things," she said. "Her work is often themed around the jungle, the sea and the beach. "With each new piece she adds new ways of working, building up layers of fabric, sand, paint, shells, paper and whatever else she can find. "There is always so much to discover in Amber's work."
