Jurassic Park star Sam Neill reveals his son repeatedly FARTED on Princess Diana at legendary film's premiere
The actor, 77, starred in the smash-hit movie franchise, which catapulted him to international fame thanks to his role as Dr Alan Grant.
Back in 1993, Princess Diana attended a royal screening of the original movie, which took place in Leicester Square.
However, Sam has recalled his mortification when he discovered his son Tim began farting during the film - just meters from the princess.
He said: 'The last time I watched it in its totality was sitting beside Princess Di at the Leicester Square at the London opening.
'On the other side of me was my son Tim - he was 11 and completely swept away by it, but about the time the T-Rex turns up, Tim started to fart.
'And the draft was drifting across me to royalty!
'I spent the whole film in a muck sweat, thinking, "Princess Di is being exposed to the horrors of a little boy's fart, but she's going to think it's me. I am going to be subliminally blamed for my son's crimes, and I don't think she'll talk to me afterwards."
'But she was well brought up and never mentioned it.'
Sam previously told GQ how the princess enjoyed the sci-fi and action movie, and said he kept one eye on the screen and the other on her.
To date, a whopping seven films in the Jurassic franchise, with the latest instalment Jurassic World Rebirth released just last month.
It stars Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Ed Skrein.
Meanwhile, Sam looked well and in good spirits as he stepped out for a red carpet event in February.
He attended the 2025 AACTA Awards held at Home of the Arts (HOTA) on the Gold Coast, in Australia.
Sam previously opened up about his 'brutal' chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with stage-three blood cancer.
He found out he had cancer in 2022 during his first trip back to New Zealand after lockdowns made returning home to see his family virtually impossible for two years.
His son Tim told Australian Story his dad had been back in New Zealand for barely an hour when a doctor phoned with the awful news he had cancer.
'When he hung the phone up and we sat down, and we had a little bit of a cry together. It was supposed to be a happy day. He didn't get to stay,' Tim said.
Sam continued: 'I was in really a fight for my life. And everything was a new world and a rather alarming world.
'I had three or four months of reasonably conventional chemotherapies which are, brutal.'

EXCLUSIVE Pack your Wags: England star's estranged wife splashes out £2m from her divorce settlement on new home
Kieran Trippier 's estranged wife is splashing out on a new 'divorce home' - and his former England teammate Marcus Rashford will be one of her neighbours. MailOnline can reveal Charlotte Trippier, 36, has had an offer accepted on the five-bedroom Cheshire property worth nearly £2million. The WAG confirmed her split from the Newcastle defender, 34, last month, admitting they have been separated for over a year in which time Trippier has been seen enjoying the company of multiple women, including Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry. Charlotte is keen to land the new property as it's close to the school where their two eldest children attend and she feels it will signal a new start for them all. A source said: 'Charlotte has been looking for properties for some time and she believes the house in Cheshire is perfect. 'She'll have familiar faces nearby as it's a hotbed for fellow WAGs and it's a great place to lay down roots. 'And if she needs a cup of sugar, she only has to pop over the road to see Marcus.' The detached property includes four 'luxury' bathrooms, a mammoth 32ft living-dining kitchen and a heated outdoor swimming pool. The WAG and soon-to-be ex-husband Trippier put their £3.8million mansion in Northumberland up for sale last September amid rumours the pair, who married in 2016, were living separate lives. Charlotte, who shares three children with the ex-England ace - Jacob, eight, Esme, six, and Isla, three - unfollowed the full-back on Instagram before last summer's Euros and did not attend any of the games in Germany, unlike other WAGs, sparking the first fears the pair were on the verge of splitting. The interior designer also posted a cryptic message on the social media platform before England final group match, which read: 'Sooner or later you get over the s*** you swore you'd never get over and it's the best feeling in the world.' Before the tournament, Trippier was snapped celebrating Newcastle's European qualification by lifting up a blonde girl while partying with teammates at a packed karaoke bar. He cuddled the woman before wrapping his arms around her and then picking her up by the bottom. Charlotte ditched her wedding ring around this time as the pair drifted apart, even holidaying separately. The WAG was also absent from Newcastle's games and did not appear on the pitch alongside Trippier and their three children on the final home game of the season. Charlotte broke her silence last month to confirm their break-up. She said: 'I just wanted to let you know that I am fine, obviously I am not ready to talk about my situation. 'In time I will, when I am comfortable and the time is right, also I have three young children so I don't want to be putting things out there for them to see. 'But yeah i just wanted to let everyone know its not that bad and you can get through it once you make the decision.' She went on: 'You can get through it. The sparkle does come back, I feel like I am getting my glow back again and yeah, like, you will get there.' Tripper confirmed the split the previous week in the wake of being pictured with scantily-clad women in Ibiza. He wrote on Instagram: 'I have never commented on my private life but the tabloids seem to want to continue writing false narratives,' 'I feel I have no choice but to confirm publicly that myself and Charlotte separated over a year ago. I have not commented previously as it is a private matter and we want to protect our children.'

Content: You wait ages for the reunion of a much-loved, era-defining British rock band and then two come along at once. After last night's return of Oasis, now we have Black Sabbath, ultra-poignantly getting back together to give the big man up front the send off he deserves. Ozzy Osbourne's touring career had petered out in a frustrating series of knocks – illness, Covid-cancelled tours, more illness – and it looked like he might have been forced into retirement with unfinished business. But thanks to the sterling efforts of wife Sharon Osbourne, musical director Tom Morello and an eye-popping network of greats, we're about to have what could reasonably be described as the biggest event in heavy metal history. I'll be following along with the livestream at home which starts at 3pm, while Michael Hann is in Villa Park itself and will be sending back his observations plus a big review at the end of the night.

EXCLUSIVE The special meaning behind Mel B's wedding dress revealed as she shuns her trademark leopard print for traditional bridal gown
Mel B was the epitome of a beautiful, blushing bride for her wedding to Rory McPhee at St Paul's cathedral on Saturday. The Spice Girl, 50, is famed for her love of leopard print, but opted for a traditional bridal gown as she walked down the aisle for a third time. Mel's gorgeous gown was a bespoke design by Evelie Bridal Boutiques and featured a sheer illusion design adorned with white pearls and a ruched bodice, with the singer adding a flowing to her bridal look. Speaking to MailOnline about Mel's decision to go for the dress, Evelie Bridal Boutiques' owner Caroline Black revealed the singer wanted to embody 'strength, sensuality, and timeless glamour.' She added: 'From the moment Mel walked through the doors at Evelie, this journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Helping a real Spice Girl choose her wedding dress - what could possibly top that? But what's truly made this experience so meaningful is getting to know Mel as just Mel [not the icon, but the woman. It's been such an honour.' The Spice Girl, 50, is famed for her love of leopard print, but opted for a traditional bridal gown as she walked down the aisle for a third time (pictured in 1997) Designer Josephine Scott added: 'Designing this gown for Mel was about capturing her fearless spirit and softness all in one look. 'She's iconic, powerful, and radiant — and this dress had to be worthy of that. Every detail was chosen to honour her strength and sensuality, while celebrating the woman and the love story beneath the girl power.' While Mel opted for a traditional gown, as did groom Rory, who wore Scottish attire complete with a red and green tartan kilt. Emma Bunton, the only other Spice Girl in attendance - led the celebrity guests arriving for the wedding as Scary Spice prepared to walk down the aisle for the third time. While Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisholm were absent - Emma ensured she was there to support her friend. Also in attendance was Mel's sister Danielle Brown, Daisy Lowe, Katherine Ryan and Gaby Roslin - who were dressed to impress for the ceremony. Emma echoed her Baby Spice days as she donned a bay pink mini dress worn with platform heels and a matching fascinator. She was accompanied by husband Jade Jones and their son Beau, 17, with both men looking dapper as they joined Emma for the ceremony. Danielle looked radiant in a blue floral mini dress as she headed into the cathedral with her children Mimi, Hendrix and Myla. Gaby, 60, also looked incredible as she opted for a nude midi dress with a sheer overlay that she paired with a long pink coat. Earlier in the day, staff were seen organising the cathedral for the ceremony - which Mel has been given permission to wed in because she was awarded an MBE in 2022 for her services to charitable causes and vulnerable women. Giant bouquets of white flowers were seen being brought through the front doors ahead of the guests arriving. MailOnline understands that the nuptials will see Rory's brother Jordan act as best man, while pal James Steen will fill in as father of the bride in place of Mel's late father Martin Brown and walk her down the aisle. Mel's nieces will be flower girls.
