Karrion Kross Says He Rejected WWE's New Contract Offer. Reason Is...
The man in focus, Kross, has now opened up on the inside details of his contract situation, saying that while the WWE did offer him an extension, he rescinded the deal as WWE gave him just 24 hours to accept.
I got the offer. I wanted to know how they came to the valuation of that offer. Just some information, metrics, analytics, that supported, 'Hey, this is how we got here.' When I inquired about that, they weren't willing to provide that information and told me I had 24 hours to agree to the offer or they would rescind it. The next day, we talked. I asked if they had the information, they don't. I said, 'I can't make an informed decision without the information. I'd like to keep the dialogue open.' They rescinded the offer. That's where we're at," Kross said on The Ariel Helwani Show.
Kross, however, insisted that working in the WWE has been his dream, and that him and Scarlett would definitely welcome future offers from the legendary promotion.
"I know how a lot of people feel when they make an exit. I can empathize with everybody's experience. Every exit experience is different. This isn't to disparage WWE, but because there are so many convoluted stories going on, and to some degree can affect our livelihood, of what we're supposed to be doing after. People don't want to reach out because they're not sure if they are tampering. The goal has always been to be with WWE. My wife and I still want to be with WWE. I'm at the table for conversations. I did not step out of the conversation. We still want to be there and want to work it out," he added.

Who Will Be John Cena's Final WWE Opponent? New Details Emerge
17-time WWE Champion John Cena kept the fans guessing about his opponent in the final match of his wrestling career. Cena revealed at the start of 2025 that this will be his last year in professional wrestling and he is all set to have his final fight in December last this year. However, there is still no clarity about who he will be facing. He has already faced stalwarts like Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and Randy Orton while his next match will be against Logan Paul at WWE Clash in Paris on August 31. During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he was once again asked about his potential opponent but the legendary WWE star once again left everyone guessing. "No, no, I've never operated like that," Cena said. "It's weird because I've always just been that guy. ... I've just always kind of been reliable and showing up and doing whatever I'm asked. And I really want this tour to be not only special - it'll always be special to me because you guys are out there - I want it to be special for the business. My goal has always been to leave WWE better than I found it, so whoever they deem appropriate to get that energy, man, I'm cool with that." Cena went on to say that he wished he had 'more time' in his wrestling career before recognising that the moment was right for him to move away and shine the spotlight on young talents. "Of course, every part of me. Yeah, absolutely. My body is screaming at me to close the chapter. I'm 48 man, I'll be 49 next year. I'm very grateful to say that WWE has given me almost 25 years to go out and do my thing and be invisible, and it's been fantastic. But I also remember when I was a young kid back in 2002 thinking I'd never get a chance. And then when I did, I came up with a young, hungry class. And I think if I hang around any longer than now, I'm just taking time away from those young guys who could be the next chance to make an impact on something. It's time, man. It's time."

WWE: Is Bron Breakker's association with Seth Rollins benefiting him? Veteran analyst weighs in
Bron Breakker, one of WWE's most promising young prospects, shocked the world on the Raw after WrestleMania 41 this April when turned heel and joined hands with Seth Rollins. He assaulted Roman Reigns and CM Punk on the fateful night and sent a message to the locker room. The development created a buzz but some observers felt that it would transform him into Rollins' 'lackey'. Now, months later, a veteran journalist has weighed in on the impact of his heel turn and revealed if it's benefited him. Dave Meltzer feels Bron Breakker's association with Seth Rollins has benefitted him Dave Meltzer is a popular name in the pro-wrestling world. The seasoned journalist is best known for his sharp observations and deep knowledge of the industry. He is also the founder and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which he founded in 1982. In an interaction with Indiatimes, Meltzer said that Bron Breakker's heel turn has benefited him. He added that it will most probably open the door for a feud between 'The Badass' and Seth Rollins. 'I think it helps Breakker a lot being associated with Rollins, since the obvious split will make him a big player. It also strengthens the heel unit,' he added. Breaker, who is WCW legend Rick Steiner's son, was an integral part of the midcard division before joining Seth Rollins' group. He held the Intercontinental title on two occasions and also had memorable feuds with The Judgement Day and Sami Zayn. Breaker was propelled into the main-event scene shortly after he joined Rollins' group, which is now called The Vision. The young Steiner recently teamed up with Bronson Reed, who joined the group at Saturday Night's Main Event, to take on Roman Reigns and Jey Uso at SummerSlam. The fast-rising star was quite impressive during the encounter even though the team lost. He is expected to eventually square off against Reigns in a singles match. However, that may happen only during one of the 'big four' Premium Live Events. Will The Vision split soon? The Vision is now stronger than ever before as Seth Rollins captured the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam by cashing in on his Money in the Bank contract on CM Punk after his match against Gunther. Given this, a split is unlikely at this point. However, WWE did some time ago potentially plant the seed for the same when Bron Breakker declared himself as the leader of the group in Seth Rollins' absence. As such, it is just a matter of 'when', not 'if' the creative goes in this direction.
