We Wanna Hear About The Most Unhinged Thing You've Ever Done Because You Had A Crush On Someone
It is a truth universally acknowledged that, often, people do some pretty unhinged, out-of-pocket things to impress people they like. As the great philosopher Olivia Rodrigo once said, love is fucking embarrassing!
So, obviously, I have a question for you. What's the most unhinged, "oh my god did I really just do that??" thing you've ever done in the name of having a crush?

Perhaps you told a little white lie about also liking Star Wars when, in fact, you'd never seen a single one of the movies. But...they were, like, way beyond being a casual fan of the franchise, and you were in way too deep...so you pulled back-to-back all-nighters and binge-watched every. single. movie the weekend before your next date.

Or maybe you overheard your high school crush off-handedly making a comment to their friends about having a thing for blondes, so you went home that night and — with a box of hair bleach and a dream — decided it was time for a drastic aesthetic change, completely unrelated to what you'd heard earlier, of course.
Or perhaps you fancied your local pizza delivery person and, as a result, found yourself dialing the pizzeria's number multiple times a week in hopes of a certain someone knocking on your door. And, perhaps, one day you opened your bank statement and were gobsmacked to see how much of your paycheck was going towards pepperoni pizza.
Oh hey, baby Scheana Shay!
Whatever it was, we wanna hear about it. In the comments or via the anonymous form below, we wanna hear about the wildest, most unhinged thing you've ever done in the name of having a crush. The more out of pocket, the better. You never know, your submission just might end up in a future BuzzFeed Community post!

Adria Arjona recalls 'Andor' audition: 'I was freaking out'
June 24 (UPI) -- Adria Arjona says she "was freaking out" when she auditioned for the Star Wars series Andor. She dished about the experience to her co-star Diego Luna, who portrays Cassian Andor in the Rogue One prequel, and who is guest hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live this week. "I did the first scene and it lasted maybe a minute. I got no notes, which, if any of you here are an actor, that is a horrible thing. That means I failed. That means I didn't get the job," Arjona said. She said writer-creator Tony Gilroy then had Luna leave the room for her next scene. She made a mistake and then tried again. "And I was freaking out," she said. "Then I do the scene again, and silence in the room. I'm freaking out. I'm like, 'I didn't get the job. I didn't get the job. This is the second time I don't get a Star Wars job. I'll never get it again.' And I was heartbroken." "And then Tony just kind of looks at me and goes, 'Welcome to Star Wars, kid,'" she added. "He changed my life in 10 minutes." The second and final season of the series landed on Disney+ April 22.

‘Andor' Star Stellan Skarsgård Was the Ultimate ‘Star Wars' Script Rulebreaker
The level of secrecy on Disney's prized franchises is known to be on another level. Between Marvel and Star Wars, script and set leaks are something the studio wants to keep the spigot closed on. But it turns out that sometimes tight security makes the work challenging for its stars, including certain cast members of the hit Disney+ show Andor. The nugget of behind the scenes lore was revealed while Andor star Diego Luna, who is currently doing a stint hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live, had own his Star Wars universe co-star Adria Arjona on to reminisce about shooting the Disney+ series. He brought up that production resorted to high-tech alternatives for its actors to learn their lines. 'They wouldn't print a script for you because you would lose it. So we would have iPads to work,' Luna explained of the protocol before asking Arjona how she fared under that decree. 'I didn't use it,' she admitted, 'I took pictures of it and I printed the whole script.' As in pictures of the screen, which Luna cracked was very much in line with the spies they played on the Tony Gilroy show. 'You were so mad at me the first time in rehearsal. You looked at me like, 'Adria, they're gonna find out!' You were so paranoid.' Arjona revealed, 'And my answer was like, 'Stellan [Skarsgård] did it too.' I just completely threw Stellan under the bus.' 'I remember that. Stellan didn't give an [expletive],' Luna said. 'He was like, 'Yes, I've been doing it.'' Arjona continued, 'I just kept doing it. Season two, I did it too.' She explained, 'I just need the paper. I need to write things down. [The iPad script] also has so many passwords and then I would have ADD and then do something else and then it would lock me out … it was so complicated. So I printed it.' Since the ending of Andor featured Arjona's character holding a real hell of a twist in her arms, we'd say she was successful. Watch the rest of the interview below: Want more io9 news?
