The two last appeared together in the 1998 hit, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, which also featured Salman Khan and Kajol. Touted to be a mix of family drama and thriller, the muhurat ceremony of Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se recently took place in Mumbai. It was attended by several who's who from Bollywood, namely Rajpal Yadav, Vidya Malavade, Ganesh Acharya, Kangana Sharma, Sudhakar Sharma, Vijay Madaye, Cheetah Yajnesh Shetty, Yogesh Lakhani of Bright Outdoor Media Ltd, and Sonu Baggad. The film is slated to begin shooting shortly and is anticipated to release in theatres by November 2025. One of the evening's highlights was Udit Narayan's live performance of a song from the film. The yet-to-be-released track was loved by everyone present. Actor-influencer Ekta Jain anchored the event.
