Fans all say the same thing ahead of Tottenham's Super Cup clash after PSG thrash Inter Milan in Champions League final
Fans have mocked Tottenham by claiming they will be destroyed by Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup after the Parisians paraded to Champions League glory.
A remarkable and relentless display in Munich saw PSG thrash Inter Milan 5-0 to claim the club's first ever Champions League title.
They are just the second ever French club to become European champions, behind Marseille in 1993, while Luis Enrique joins Pep Guardiola as the only managers in history to have won a treble with two different teams.
The French side will face Spurs in the UEFA Super Cup, with the north Londoners hoping to get their hands on another trophy - having ended their 17-year drought last week.
The game will take place at Udinese's Stadio Friuli on August 13, a mere two days before the start of the Premier League season.
While Ange Postecoglou 's men beat Manchester United in the Europa League final, claiming their first European trophy in 43 years, fans took to social media to express certainty that they will be hammered by Enrique's young side.
One wrote: 'I'm not sure Spurs fans should watch this. It could be the most humiliating defeat in their history.'
Another added: 'If the game tonight was 5-0. God help Spurs.'
One account joked: 'Spurs should forfeit to only lose 3-0.'
'The first 30-0 incoming,' another said.
Facing PSG is a scary prospect and the Parisians certainly know how to get a result against Premier League clubs, having beaten Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal en route to the final.
Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring at the Allianz Arena before a Desire Doue brace, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and 19-year-old Senny Mayulu firing in second-half goals as PSG recorded the biggest ever win in a Champions League final.
Fans took to X to mock Spurs just moments after PSG wrapped up the Champions League
'If the game tonight was 5-0, God help Spurs,' one fan wrote after PSG's win on Saturday
Enrique became just the sixth manager to win it with two clubs, having triumphed in 2015 with Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are the current holders of the Super Cup, beating Atalanta 2-0 last year.
Manchester City lifted the trophy two seasons ago, while PSG could become the first ever French side to win it.
