KAIZER CHIEFS v MARUMO GALLANTS
Chiefs cannot afford to slip up in their remaining Betway Premiership matches if they are to keep their chances of finishing in the Top 8 alive.
Amakhosi are eighth on the log with 31 points, just one ahead of the ninth-placed Chippa United who have two games in hand.
And so, with Marumo Gallants set to visit them at FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon (3pm), Chiefs have to be at their best all round, and get full points.
Chiefs' clean sheet record has improved - having also drawn 0-0 with Chippa in their last game - but they need to be clinical in the final third.
Prediction: Kaizer Chiefs 2 Marumo Gallants 1
Odds: Kaizer Chiefs 1.60 |Draw 3.65 Marumo Gallants 5.80
POLOKWANE CITY v SUPERSPORT UNITED
SuperSport are regarded as one of the Top 5 teams in the land. But thanks to their financial struggles, they are quickly falling from grace.
This season, they've been a shadow of themselves so much so that instead of fighting for a Top 3 spot, they are flirting with relegation as they 15th spot on the log.
And so, that's why they need to get full results in their remaining seven games as anything other than that could see them play in play-offs to retain their status.
Their bid to win all their remaining matches won't be easy though, starting with the clash against Polokwane City who'll host them in Polokwane on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
Prediction: Polokwane City 1 SuperSport United 1
Odds: Polokwane City 2.95 |Draw 2.95 SuperSport United 2.55
GOLDEN ARROWS v AMAZULU
Abafana Bes'thende have been in a decent run of form under the leadership of Manqoba Mngqithi, and they have managed to pick up eight points from a possible 15 in their last five outings.
They will welcome an Usuthu side that will be low in confidence at the Mpumalanga Stadium, and following their goalless draw in the reverse fixture, they will fancy themselves to take a step closer to the top eight.
AmaZulu have little choice but to go for the win as their top eight hopes hang by a thread, and that might make for an open encounter with plenty of opportunities to score goals for both sides.
Prediction: Golden Arrows to win 2-1
Odds: Golden Arrows win 2.75 I Draw 3.00 I AmaZulu win 2.70
TS GALAXY V SEKHUKHUNE UNITED
The Rockets will come up against a high-flying Babina Noko side that is fresh off a commanding 2-0 win against neighbors Polokwane City last weekend.
A lot will be on the line for both sides, as they are currently vying for a spot in the top three, with a spot in next season's CAF Confederation Cup still up for grabs.
Galaxy walked away with an impressive 3-1 away win the last time the two sides met at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium and it will be much of the same this Saturday.
Prediction: Sekhukhune United to win 2-1
Odds: TS Galaxy win 2.03 I Draw 3.10 I Sekhukhune United 3.90

RUMOUR: Orlando Pirates star Monyane to Kaizer Chiefs?
Orlando Pirates have a surplus of right-backs. Could Thabiso Monyane be on his way to Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs? SAFootClassics on X have shared a local report from SuperJourno suggesting that Orlando Pirates right-back Thabiso Monyane has been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. It's not the most far-fetched rumour we've ever heard. Pirates already have several players in that position, with Deano van Rooyen and Bandile Shandu currently vying for the role. Monyane and his namesake Thabiso Lebitso have hardly had a look-in, while Baroka star Tshepho Mashiloane is also on the verge of signing with the Buccaneers. 23-year-old Tshepho Mashiloane is Pirates' latest defensive recruit. The Baroka man can operate at right-back or in central midfield, which will be a considerable boost for the Pirates technical team; although they have a strong squad at their disposal, both full-back positions are a relative weak spot. With experience in the second tier, it's also hoped that he's ready for a battle. Orlando Pirates fans are expectant on Soweto Derby Day. Pirates need a coach Pirates are looking for a new head coach after Spaniard Jose Riveiro's departure, and Mokwena has been strongly linked with the post. 'Of course, I would consider it (the Pirates job),' Mokwena said in an interview with SuperSport. 'It is a big club. It still has people who are very close to me and to my heart. I am very fond of Dr Irvin Khoza. He will always have a special place in my heart. 'I've been fortunate enough that as a coach. I've learned a lot about leadership from a few of the best football leaders on the continent. Dr. Khoza is number one for sure – his general language, history, geography, football … everything.' A strong heritage Mokwena is of Pirates heritage. His grandfather Eric Sono captained the side in the 1960s and his uncle Jomo Sono was a Pirates star of the 1970s. The 38 year-old was an assistant coach at Pirates to Milutin Sredojevic between 2017 and 2019. He then took over as interim head coach when Sredojevic resigned in August 2019. All you need to know about Orlando Pirates signing Tshepho Mashiloane
Orlando Pirates have wrapped up the signing of Tshepho Mashiloane from NFD outfit Baroka FC. What does he bring to the party? SABC Sport reported last month that Pirates had sealed a deal for Tshepho Mashiloane from Baroka. What is there to know about the 23-year-old? Well, the versatile defender can operate at right-back or in central midfield. This will be a considerable boost for the Pirates technical team; although they have a strong squad at their disposal, both full-back positions are a relative weak spot. With experience in the second tier, it's also hoped that he's ready for a battle. There are reports that Pirates are also close to wrapping up a deal for Baroka's winger Kabelo Kgositsile. He's opened up about the imminent move, which is a bittersweet one. Since making the step up from youth to senior football in 2025, Jaedin Rhodes has flourished. Rhodes can operate in several attacking midfield roles, either on the flanks or behind a central striker. He made 23 appearances in the 2024-2025 league season for the Citizens. Availability is one of his biggest strengths. Last season, he made 29 league appearances, and the season before, he notched up 17. Orlando Pirates fans are expectant on Soweto Derby Day.
