Jordan has starred in most of Coogler's movies, including Fruitvale Station, Black Panther, Creed, and most recently, the supernatural horror Sinners. Speaking to LeBron James for Interview Magazine, the director explained that Sinners may have been Jordan's biggest acting challenge to date, as he stars in a dual role as twin brothers Smoke and Stack. 'It was incredible seeing him do it. I think it's his greatest acting challenge yet. I say that having been there to see him level up each time. Fruitvale (Station) was his first time in a movie.'

Colton Underwood and Jordan C. Brown: Surrogacy is a 'really weird mix of miracle and capitalism'

Colton Underwood and his husband Jordan C. Brown say their surrogacy journey was a 'really weird mix of miracle and capitalism'. The reality TV star and his political strategist husband welcomed son Bishop via gestational surrogate 11 months ago and Jordan admitted the experience was complicated. Speaking on the Two Parents and Pod podcast, Jordan said: 'It's interesting because, I always say, it's this really weird mix of miracle and capitalism. It's a miracle, like, bringing new life into the world but also there's a ton … of contracts and legal stuff. 'When you arrive [at the hospital], you're handing the hospital a court order from a judge that's, like, 'The baby that's born out of this person between this day and this day belongs to these other people'. We would have had the right to be, like, baby comes out and goes to us.' The pair used a separate egg donor to have their baby but still asked the gestational carrier to do skin-to-skin contact with Bishop when he was born. Colton, 33, said: 'We had a birth plan that [Jordan] sweetly printed out so that every single nurse had a copy of. [It explained] what we were doing, what our preferences were and how we wanted to do it.' 'One thing that we checked with [our surrogate] is we wanted her to have skin-to-skin with him right away.' Jordan added: 'She was all he knew for the whole pregnancy. I mean, we would send voice notes that she would play to her belly, and when we would [visit] her, we would get in there. 'We wanted to do what felt right. We had our own room that was right next door to hers, and it was really cool and really nice. We got very lucky to have a really beautiful, fast [and] uncomplicated birth.'

Machine Gun Kelly turned down Sinners over racial slur

Machine Gun Kelly claims he turned down Sinners, because he didn't want to use a racial slur. The 35-year-old rapper says he was invited to audition for a vampire role in Ryan Coogler's latest movie but he declined when he learned that his character uses the 'n-word'. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, he said: 'Like Sinners, I was supposed to be in that. The vampire, they had me set up to do the audition - it's the one that's in the house, so he's the second vampire, the one that the guy comes and eats the family. In the audition, he has to say the 'n-word' and I wouldn't do it. 'I have a lot of aspirations to be in movies, it just hasn't panned out that way. I'm on universal timing. It'll align. The angels will put something in the works. 'There's been plenty of movies that come out that I was like, ah, I was supposed to be in that, or I did auditions for that.' It is likely that MGK's audition for 'the second vampire' was for the role of Bert, a KKK member who was turned by the vampire Remmick (Jack O'Connell). The part was played by Peter Dreimanis. Sinners – starring Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld and Miles Caton – is a horror movie set in the Mississippi Delta in 1932, where criminal twin brothers return to their hometown to start again but are faced by a supernatural evil.

Kevin Proctor breaks silence after being KO'd at RUNIT event by Jordan Simi in Dubai

Former NRL star Kevin Proctor has no regrets about taking part in RUNIT 02 in Dubai over the weekend, despite suffering a shocking knockout that has gone viral on social media. The 282 NRL game second rower came off second best after getting his head in the wrong position in an exhibition run it straight contest against former lower grade footy player turned social media influencer Jordan Simi. Footage of the hit showed the former Kiwis forward face-plant onto the astroturf with his arms and legs stiffening as medical personnel rush to him. Proctor was cleared by a doctor the morning after the event and is flying back to Australia. In his first comments since the event, Proctor thanked RUNIT organisers and admitted he got the hit wrong. 'Just want to say thank you to everyone that has messaged me to ask if I was alright,' Proctor wrote on Instagram before flying back to Australia. 'I'm all good. 'We all know what we sign up for getting in there. 'It's a contact sport and unfortunately I put my head in the wrong place and came out second best. 'Ya win some ya lose some ... but no hard feelings. Hats off to the bro. It is what it is. 'I got in there had a crack at least. 'I like to thank @ for having me! Still grateful to be apart of it and im sure you guys are only going to get bigger n bigger. 'Congrats to all the winners and organisation for putting on a great event. 'On my way back home now to see my darling, kids and family ... thanks again to everyone for the support.' Kevin Proctor's collision with Jordan Simi. Picture: Supplied/Instagram Simi – Proctor's opponent in the exhibition run it straight challenge – is sitting beside him in the Instagram post, and commented: 'Don't do that again yeahhhh. Got me in trouble with your mumsy. Love brother.' The Dubai event was the third high profile competition RUNIT has staged after similar contests in Melbourne and Auckland in May. The event had a massive prize pool, with first place leaving with $200,000, second place pocketing $50,000 and third place walking away with $25,000. A social media sensation, RUNIT has gone viral with clips of big hits and thunderous collisions spreading like wildfire on Instagram and TikTok. It has attracted a huge amount of criticism as well though, with dozens of CTE experts slamming it. Meanwhile the Warriors, New Zealadn Rugby League, Rugby Australia and the Melbourne Storm hav moved to distance themselves from the craze.
