Max Verstappen's £12million ‘Unleash the Lion' super yacht with its own beach club turns heads at Monaco Grand Prix

MAX VERSTAPPEN has turned heads in Monaco this week, but for once it is not for his electric pace on the Formula One track.
Instead, it is his £12million super yacht, named "Unleash the Lion" which has left onlookers stunned.

In January the four-time world champion was seen inspecting a luxury yacht alongside partner Kelly Piquet.
And those visiting Monte Carlo for the F1 Grand Prix weekend were treated to a sight of Verstappen 's spectacular 33-metre Mangusta GranSport 33.
The vessel, built by Overmarine and launched in the winter break, can accommodate 12 guests with five staterooms and a further three cabins for crew members.
On top, there are multiple lounging areas and a spacious sundeck while also having a BEACH CLUB at its stern for easy access to water.
All of this leans into the £739,000-a-year upkeep of it.
Monaco harbour is the perfect home for the yacht given its proximity to Verstappen's home and the stunning weather.
And it is some feat to stand out when F1 comes to town, with the race attracting the super rich and celebs from the world over who are all vying to show off their dizzying wealth.
However, behind the wheel Verstappen has been a bit less impressive.
He earned second in FP1 which was topped by Charles Leclerc - but not without both the Monegasque and Lewis Hamilton being involved in scary incidents.
FP2 was far less productive for the Dutchman as he clocked in only the tenth quickest lap of the session, which was once again topped by Ferrari's Leclerc.

TOWIE's Ella Rae Wise faces awkward run-in with ex Dan Edgar as she is joined by bikini-clad Elma Pazar and Amber Turner for filming of 15th anniversary special in Portugal

Ella Rae Wise could be set for an awkward run-in with her ex Dan Edgar as filming for TOWIE's 15th anniversary kicks off in Portugal. The reality star, 24, had been dating her co-star in the lead-up to going on Celebrity Big Brother back in April, before revealing on the show they had split. And now the pair have come face to face after their split as they both jetted out to the Algarve - where they were spotted filming scenes at a pool party for TOWIE's upcoming 15th anniversary special. TOWIE - which is one of ITVX's most streamed titles with 66million streams in the last 12 months - is back with the brand new series airing on ITV2 and ITVX later this year. Ella looked sensational for filming as she stepped out in a cerulean blue ruched bikini top with a matching full length sarong as she was joined by her glam co-stars Elma Pazar and another of Dan's exes, Amber Turner. Ella Rae Wise could be set for an awkward run-in with her ex Dan Edgar as filming for TOWIE's 15th anniversary kicks off in Portugal Love Island star Elma showed off her toned torso as she posed in a tiny lacy turquoise strappy bikini, with matching briefs and a sarong. Meanwhile Amber, who split from Dancing On Ice star Dan in 2023, put on a striking display in an all-white ensemble. Amber's abs were on display in a white cupped bikini top with a gold brooch, as well as brief featuring an additional cut-out style waistband. She paired the bikini with a low-waisted white beach maxi skirt. Another star spotted at filming was Ella's best friend Dani Imbert, who looked incredible in a black and white crochet bikini with matching hot pants. Meanwhile Chloe Meadows was glowing in a red bikini top and crochet high-waisted shorts, and Courtney Green opted for a green floral bikini with a tiny beaded sarong. Cast members on the upcoming series include Amy Childs, Billy Debosq and the twins, Joe Blackman, Junaid, Ella, Freddie Bentley, Amber, Chloe, Courtney, Elma, Harry Derbidge, Jordan Brook, Sophie Kasaei, Roman Hackett, Sammy Root, Dan, Jodie Wells, Diags, Livvy, Becks & Dani. Ella recently hinted that scenes in Portugal could be 'explosive' as she confirmed to MailOnline she would be joining the cast for the upcoming TOWIE 15th anniversary special. 'I'm so excited! I feel like it's going to be explosive. The last couple of series have been pretty tame, so it's time for a big one. And everything's just better in the sun,' she teased. Speaking exclusively to MailOnline about the breakup, she shared: 'I'd known about going on the show for a while and honestly thought I was going in with a happy relationship. 'But things happened behind closed doors that I couldn't get over. For once, I put myself first.' Despite their relationship coming to an end, Ella insists things ended amicably: 'Nothing bad happened, there was no cheating or anything, and we still speak. 'In fact, we messaged the other day. I hope we stay friends.' Viewers saw Ella break down in tears inside the famous Celebrity Big Brother house as she opened up about the breakup just days into filming. Reflecting on how vulnerable she felt, Ella added: 'It took a lot of courage for me to be open up and vulnerable about my relationship on the show. 'I was very emotional but honest about how I felt at the time. Lovebirds Junaid and Joe Blackman packed on the PDA as they smooched on a sun lounger while filming 'I also didn't know what was happening outside the show and what he was saying, so it took a lot for me to be so open on TV, where everyone will have an opinion.' The reality icon, who left the show in a triple eviction alongside Patsy Palmer and Angellica Bell, also revealed she was surprised by the lack of support from her fellow TOWIE castmates after her exit. She said: 'I only got messages from Freddie (Bentley), Saffron (Lempriere), and Dani (Imbert), like those are my three best friends. But no one else, which surprised me, I'm not going to lie. 'It was a bit sad because I would've messaged them if they were on a show, but I didn't hear anything. 'But then again, I don't know what they were going through at the time, so I don't hold it against them. I just know I would've messaged.'

Montreal aims to bounce back as Formula 1 host after 2024 misstep

When it comes to Montreal's biggest party weekend of the year, the pressure is on. As the 2025 edition approaches (and despite a contract in place), rumours are swirling that Montreal's race might be at risk. The talk started with the 2024 failures of last year's edition. Now with the metro and bus strike, Montreal's air quality index at an all-time low thanks to the Canadian wildfires, plus the extreme summer 2025 forecast bringing post-tropical cyclones and torrential downpours, Montreal's ability and commitment to host is being seriously called into question. The Canadian Grand Prix attracts thousands of visitors to Montreal and captivates millions of viewers worldwide. Following major organizational issues and concerns from local businesses in 2024, this year's event could play a key role in determining the race's long-term future. What happened at F1 Montreal in 2024? Torrential rains flooded the paddocks and work areas used by Formula One teams. Drivers were reportedly late for key meetings due to delays caused by mismanaged construction zones. Poor communication between race organizers, the city, police, and Montreal's transit authority created major access problems for ticket holders. Some fans bypassed barriers and made their way onto the track. Meanwhile, restaurant patios were abruptly shut down during dinner service by the fire department for bylaw infractions. Is there a new app for the Formula 1 2025 edition? This year, the experience at the track should be much improved thanks to a new app which will help guide and inform fans of entertainment options on site. There will also be new colour-coded site maps and enhanced food options. You can find the app by clicking the link here.

First Scotland goal 'massive' for Hirst

Scotland striker George Hirst told BBC Scotland: "To get that first goal is massive for me, but it was a great team performance and very professional."It was very disappointing on Friday night, we had to look at ourselves, but the good thing in football is you always have another opportunity and today we had that chance to put things right."They made it difficult for us, it was a dry pitch, there were millions of excuses we could've thrown out there, but we played with the right mentality."It makes my running a little easier, sharing the workload with Che [Adams]. If that's something to come moving forward then I'm not going to complain."
