In January the four-time world champion was seen inspecting a luxury yacht alongside partner Kelly Piquet.
And those visiting Monte Carlo for the F1 Grand Prix weekend were treated to a sight of Verstappen 's spectacular 33-metre Mangusta GranSport 33.
The vessel, built by Overmarine and launched in the winter break, can accommodate 12 guests with five staterooms and a further three cabins for crew members.
On top, there are multiple lounging areas and a spacious sundeck while also having a BEACH CLUB at its stern for easy access to water.
All of this leans into the £739,000-a-year upkeep of it.
Monaco harbour is the perfect home for the yacht given its proximity to Verstappen's home and the stunning weather.
And it is some feat to stand out when F1 comes to town, with the race attracting the super rich and celebs from the world over who are all vying to show off their dizzying wealth.
However, behind the wheel Verstappen has been a bit less impressive.
He earned second in FP1 which was topped by Charles Leclerc - but not without both the Monegasque and Lewis Hamilton being involved in scary incidents.
FP2 was far less productive for the Dutchman as he clocked in only the tenth quickest lap of the session, which was once again topped by Ferrari's Leclerc.

Streamer 'tortured' for ten days in gruesome online challenge sent final heartbreaking messages to his mother before dying on camera
A French online star who was allegedly subjected to 'ten days of torture' sent heartbreaking final messages to his mother before dying on live stream. Raphael Graven, better known online as Jean Pormanove, was a prominent figure in France 's streaming world with over a million followers across social media. But behind his online persona, he was allegedly trapped in a nightmare of gruesome online challenges involving humiliation, violence, and dangerous stunts. The popular Kick creator, 46, was found dead overnight on Monday, in bed at his home in Contes, near Nice. He is believed to have passed away in his sleep during a live broadcast, following what friends have described as relentless 'humiliation streams'. French prosecutors confirmed an investigation has been launched, with an autopsy ordered. Officials insisted that 'nothing suspicious' had yet been identified, but shocking claims from local media allege Graven endured sleep deprivation, extreme violence, and ingestion of toxic substances before his death. It has been reported that a few days before his death, Graven sent a heartbreaking final message to his mother to say he felt as if he was 'being held hostage' and admitted he was 'fed up' with the controversial streams that had become his trademark. His long-time collaborator, who streams under the name Naruto, announced his death on Instagram, paying tribute to his 'brother, sidekick, partner'. He pleaded with fans not to share clips of the disturbing live stream, where Graven appeared unconscious before being found dead in bed. The streamer's broadcasts had reportedly featured degrading acts including being slapped, spat on, grabbed by the throat, and pelted with objects - all played out in front of thousands of viewers. France's Minister for Digital Affairs and Artificial Intelligence, Clara Chappaz, condemned the ordeal as an 'absolute horror' and said platforms must do more to protect vulnerable creators. Sarah El Haïry, the High Commissioner for Children, described the tragedy as 'horrifying', warning parents to remain vigilant about the violent content children can access online. Kick, the streaming platform where Jeanpormanove built his following, said it was 'deeply saddened' by his death and promised to urgently review the circumstances. 'We are urgently reviewing the circumstances and collaborating with relevant stakeholders. Kick's community guidelines are designed to protect creators, and we are committed to enforcing them across our platform,' a spokesperson told AFP. The case has shone a harsh spotlight on the murky world of 'humiliation streams' in France, where creators allegedly endure extreme abuse for views and donations. Two fellow streamers - Owen Cenazandotti, known online as Naruto, and Safine Hamadi, known as Safine - were previously questioned in connection with such content, but both were released after denying wrongdoing. The pair were taken into police custody in January, but they were soon released as a Nice prosecutor said: 'Both the people likely to be implicated and those who were victims denied the commission of offences.' Naruto's lawyer insisted his client bore 'no responsibility' for Jeanpormanove's death, telling Le Monde: 'We are awaiting the results of the investigation to determine the conditions of JP's death and identify the responsibilities of each person.'

West Ham scramble to add midfield reinforcements after Fernandes and Casadó bids
West Ham have submitted bids for Southampton's Mateus Fernandes and Barcelona's Marc Casadó as they scramble to add energy and creativity to their midfield. The club also had an approach for Andrey Santos rejected by Chelsea earlier this week and were advised not to try for the Brazilian midfielder again. Graham Potter is hunting for midfield reinforcements after West Ham's frailties were exposed during their 3-0 defeat by Sunderland on the opening weekend. It has been slow going and it remains to be seen if West Ham have made any progress in their pursuit of Fernandes. Their first offer of £30m for the 21-year-old was rejected by Southampton last week and the sense is that their latest bid will not be enough to secure an agreement. Potter is looking for two midfielders – one to sit deep and control play, another to operate in a more advanced role – and a move has been made for Casadó. The 21-year-old made 36 appearances in all competitions for Barça last season. The chances of West Ham signing him are not seen as high. Wolves are also interested in Casadó. West Ham are also targeting Lille's Ngal'ayel Mukau. West Ham hope to make space in their budget by loaning Edson Álvarez to Fenerbahce. The Mexico midfielder, who earns £115,000 a week, has not made up his mind on whether to join the Turkish side. Porto and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in Álvarez. A host of players have been offered to West Ham, who have made four signings this summer. They are monitoring Romano Schmid, who plays in attacking midfield for Werder Bremen. Schmid is a potential alternative to Fernandes. West Ham expect to move forward with other targets if Álvarez goes. Meanwhile, Aston Villa have confirmed the winger Leon Bailey has joined Roma on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy. The 28-year-old will join up with the Serie A side who finished fifth in the league last season. Sign up to Football Daily Kick off your evenings with the Guardian's take on the world of football after newsletter promotion Bailey has made 144 appearances for Villa since he signed for the club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2021. The Jamaica international was a regular starter for Unai Emery's side over his first couple of seasons with the club but struggled to get game time in the latter half of last season after an injury.
