Flights and ferries cancelled due to severe gales
Severe gales have caused disruption to flights and ferries to and from the Isle of Man.
Daytime sailings of the Manxman between the island and Lancashire were cancelled due the conditions.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company warned passengers that the evening's crossing to Heysham and its overnight return were also at risk.
The majority of the morning and lunchtime flights to and from the Isle of Man Airport were cancelled, creating a knock-on effect for those later in the day.
A yellow weather warning for severe gales was in place until 15:00 GMT, with Ronaldsway Met Office warning of gusts of up to 70mph (113km/h).

One woman, Angel Richards, told CBS affiliate KENS 5 that her husband, Stevie, was on his way to work when he called to say he was caught in the floodwaters. "It's hard because I was on the phone when this happened, and then not to have a lot of communication, to see my car, it's devastating to me," Richards said. "No one can say to me, 'Hey, this is what's going on.'" San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg expressed his condolences to the families of the flood victims. "Our hearts are with the families of those we've lost to this week's flash floods and the families who continue searching for their loved ones," Nirenberg said on X. Joaquin Castro, a Democratic House Representative from San Antonio, called the flash floods a "tragedy". "My prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims of this week's flash floods," he said on X. "San Antonio always stands together when tragedy strikes and we will continue to do so as our community grieves this loss." 'Only thing that I had in mind was, 'If I had started a little early, I would have boarded the plane.' " Chauhan acknowledged how lucky she was to have missed the flight. "This is totally a miracle for me,' she told the outlet. In an interview with DD News from his bed in Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, 40, reportedly the sole survivor of the crash, said, 'I don't know how I survived. I saw people dying in front of my eyes – the air hostesses, and two people I saw near me… I walked out of the rubble,' per the Hindustan Times. 'Even I can't believe how I came out of it alive. For a moment, I felt like I was going to die too. But when I opened my eyes and looked around, I realized I was alive. I still can't believe how I survived,' Ramesh added.
