American Chris Robinson overcame an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction to win the 400 metres hurdles at the Ostrava Golden Spike meeting in the Czech Republic on Tuesday, finishing in 48.05 seconds.
The 24-year-old had to adjust his shorts several times after inadvertently exposing himself and hit the final hurdle hard, rolling into a somersault after crossing the finish line.
Robinson lay on the track grinning after achieving his best time of the season, just a tenth of a second off his personal best.
He crossed the line six hundredths of a second ahead of Brazilian Matheus Lima at the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold event, with Czech Vit Muller (48.41) finishing third.

The pair faced British No. 1 Jack Draper and American Jessica Pegula in the opening round of the revamped $1 million mixed doubles event. Fans quickly dubbed the duo 'Raducaraz,' and their pairing sparked relationship rumors after Raducanu was spotted supporting Alcaraz at Queen's in June. Both players expressed excitement about playing together on the court. Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz's mixed doubles debut ends in straight sets Despite showing occasional glimpses of chemistry and fun teamwork, Raducanu and Alcaraz lost the match 4-2, 4-2 in just 50 minutes. The British No.1 and Spanish superstar laughed, chatted and celebrated small wins at certain points to keep their spirits up despite losing the first set. Then Alcaraz produced a stunning around-the-net shot in the second set. Both players arrived in New York late on Monday evening, having flown in late from Cincinnati, where Alcaraz had just won the singles. Alcaraz said, 'The scheduling isn't the best, playing tomorrow… but the concept of the tournament I love it. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 20 Things Women Should NEVER Wear!
