heard the prosecutor call the shocking scenes a "pack attack", adding that the woman suffered multiple bite wounds to her hands and fingers in the horrific mauling.
The victim needed plastic surgery, they added.
The three dogs - called Zac, Storm and Nala - were seized by police at the time and two other dogs were euthanized following the attack on "other dogs and humans."

Ms Pike was told she faces up to six months in custody when she is sentenced in September.
And District Judge Angela Brereton said an expert report will be prepared about the temperament of the dogs as a destruction order may be made against them.

Debunked: How misinformation spread within minutes of a garda being stabbed on Capel Street
FOLLOWING A KNIFE attack on a garda patrolling inner city Dublin yesterday, false claims that the suspect was a migrant quickly spread on the internet. The garda was attacked yesterday evening during a routine, high-visibility patrol on Capel Street. He was wounded on his upper arm, and his stab vest sustained some impact damage, before the suspect was subdued and detained. The injured garda has since been discharged from hospital after being treated for his injuries. However, false rumours about the suspect soon spread online. 'We have some people with their own agenda try and inflame situations like this for their own ends,' Paul Cleary, Assistant Commissioner for the Dublin Metropolitan Region, said on Morning Ireland today. Many posts with inaccurate claims about the incident, that have accumulated hundreds of thousands of views, can still be seen on social media. One post to Facebook calling the suspect a 'non-national' has accumulated more than 92,600 views since being posted just before 8pm yesterday. Another post that appeared half an hour later, which says that the stabbing was carried out by a 'migrant who went Tonto [crazy]', has been seen 22,800 times, according to statistics from Meta, Facebook's parent company. Advertisement Multiple other posts on Facebook blamed the stabbing on a 'foreigner' without providing any evidence. Posts on the social media platform X alleging that the suspect was a non-Irish person have been viewed more than 100,000 times, according to metrics on that site. One of the earliest posts blaming the stabbing simply read: 'Garda stabbed by foreigner on Capel street 10 minutes ago' responding at 6.55pm to a well-known far-right activist who had been complaining about Ireland being a '3rd world country' because of immigration. Similar narratives quickly spread on X, including claims that Ireland was being overridden by foreign criminals. 'This street has gone to the dogs,' reads a 7.02pm post about the Capel Street stabbing that has been viewed more than 13,100 times. 'Every single day we have foreign nationals, drinking, shitting and pissing on the street in Broad daylight.' Similar arguments that exaggerate how dangerous Dublin is are common in anti-immigrant groups, which often portray non-Irish people are inherently criminal. However, claims that the suspect was a migrant or a non-national contradicts all mainstream reporting on the case, as well as statements made by the Gardaí. The suspect is an Irish citizen who was born in the country, according to numerous outlets, including RTÉ . The suspect is expected to be charged this evening. Baseless accusations that foreigners are responsible regularly appear online almost as soon as crimes occur. Some of these accusations have been associated with real-life violence, including the case of an Indian man who was brutally attacked by a mob in Tallaght last week after being falsely accused of inappropriate behaviour around children. ‘Jealous' woman who knifed ex to death on Christmas Day when she stumbled across his dating profile GUILTY of murder
A "JEALOUS" woman has been found guilty of stabbing her ex-partner to death on Christmas Day when she saw his dating profile. She then jumped in a taxi to Louis' home in Norton Canes, Staffordshire, armed with a kitchen knife. CCTV showed Carless running up the front path to confront Louis, who she expected to find with a woman, before "stalking" him around the garden. He was later tragically discovered dead with a single stab wound to the chest in the conservatory. Carless has now been convicted of murder following a trial at Stafford Crown Court. Jurors heard Louis was considered by police to be "at very high risk of domestic abuse ". At the time of the horror , Carless was on police bail after allegedly strangling Louis in November 2024. Louis had previously told a friend he was scared of his on-off partner and believed "something bad would happen to him". Most read in The Sun One neighbour had called police after witnessing Carless chasing and hitting Louis in the ribs with a metal pole as he tried to protect his head. There was another incident where she allegedly poured bleach over his clothes and threw a shoe out of the window, which hit him on the head. In a witness statement to police, Louis said that "on the whole", has " the relationship had been "abusive'. He added: 'She has constantly been abusive towards me, stopped me doing things I enjoy like football , and physically abused me.' In the early hours of Christmas Day, Carless and drunk alcohol and taken cocaine before she headed to Louis' parents' home. She asked the taxi driver to wait outside as she would only be a minute before she launched into the brutal attack. Carless claimed she only phoned him to see if he had taken money from inside a card at her home and went round to get the cash back. She said she had no recollection of stabbing him and was "not a violent person". Carless told the court: "I remember being in the conservatory, that was it the next thing I knew I was in the kitchen. 'Louis was sat on the floor. Then I panicked and ran off.' Carless denied murder and possessing an offensive weapon. She also pleaded not guilty to one count of intentional strangulation and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in relation to the incident on November 11, 2024.
