Kourtney Kardashian Responds to Backlash for Having Son, 21 Months, on a Boat Without a Life Vest: I 'Honestly Didn't Think'
Kourtney Kardashian Barker has responded to backlash for having her 21-month-old son Rocky Thirteen on a boat without a life vest
'Good looking out. Honestly didn't think about some of the dangers,' she wrote in a social media post, revealing she has since purchased a life vest for her youngest child

The Lemme founder, 46, shared an Instagram post on Friday, Aug. 8, that included a photo of 21-month-old son Rocky Thirteen on a boat without a life vest.
A day later, and after she faced backlash for the safety hazard, Kardashian Barker shared a post on her Instagram Stories, speaking out about the controversy.
'Update: bought a life vest that fits!' the mom of four wrote over a screenshot of an infant life vest.
'Good looking out. Honestly didn't think about some of the dangers,' Kardashian Barker continued. 'Thank you for making me aware and hopefully this helps make other mommies aware of the dangers of certain types of boating without a life vest.'
Other images included in her Aug. 8 post indicated that Kardashian Barker was in Idaho, where it is required that children 14 years of age and younger must wear a life vest while on the water.
Fans expressed concern on social media about Kardashian Barker's move to not have her youngest child wear protective gear during the boat outing.
'Great photo except for the fact the child has no life jacket on,' one person wrote in the comments section of her post.
'You can make those kinds of decisions for yourself. But don't make a decision like that for your child. PLEASE," they added.
A user on Reddit said, "Rocky should be wearing a life jacket. Such dangerous neglect," as another wrote, "Kids on boats should always be wearing appropriate life vests, and it looks like it's sitting in the seat right next to them."
'C'mon Kourt. You both should be wearing life jackets ... everyone on that boat should be,' one other person commented on Instagram.

"Blessed and grateful for this beautiful life and experience together with my baby," she wrote, in part.
Kardashian Barker welcomed Rocky in November 2023 with husband Travis Barker. She is also a mom to three children with ex Scott Disick: sons Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, plus daughter Penelope, 13.

‘And Just Like That …' Series Finale Recap: My Everything
Season 3, Episode 12: 'Party of One' Of all the mind-boggling choices the writers of 'And Just Like That …' have made this season, perhaps the wildest is forcing us, the audience, to watch a disgusting toilet overflow in the ostensibly final moments of this decades-long franchise. This week's episode — which, as we learned only a few weeks ago, is to be the series's last — was a cool 34 minutes. That's comparable to the lengths of the original 'Sex and the City' episodes and down from the roughly 45 minutes most of this season's episodes have clocked. I've noted in previous recaps that the shorter, tighter episodes are better paced, but this time things felt rushed, as if all the characters and their story lines needed more time. Everything and nothing happened in this episode. The finale of 'Sex and the City' included a romantic Parisian backdrop, a long-awaited confession of love, a bewildering slap and momentous lines like 'Go get our girl' and 'Carrie, you're the one.' This finale, which ended not only the series but also, most likely, the entire story, included no such pivotal moments. Instead, it simply tied up most of the conflicts in neat little bows and faded to black. In some ways, the ending was satisfying; there are no loose ends left. But what could have been compelling plot points are barreled through, check, check, check, like items on a to-do list. Taking place on Thanksgiving Day, everyone, for the most part, could be thankful for a happy ending: Seema, in the course of a single conversation, dismantles years of programming that made her believe she wanted marriage. She relaxes instead into a relationship with the wedding-averse Adam and enjoys gluten-free pie with his family while wearing jeans. Lisa puts the kibosh on the illicit romance budding between her and Marion, and despite acknowledging the patriarchal structure of marriage, she decides that is OK, and performs an impromptu vow renewal with Herbert in their bedroom. 42 Thoughts I Had While Watching the And Just Like That… Series Finale
Well, girls and gays, we've come to the end of And Just Like That…, a series that gave us Che Diaz, giant gingham hats, Rock York-Goldenblatt's majorly important nonbinary style, NYC rat attacks, two separate deaths for a single character, and so, so much more. Was this show ever good? I don't know the objective answer to that (okay, no, it wasn't). But logging all of the things I thought about it was one of my favorite weekly traditions, and I'm kind of crestfallen that it's all over—even though it was most definitely time to let it go. Here, my very last thoughts about the very last episode of And Just Like That…:

The unsatisfying ‘And Just Like That…' series finale was on-brand
And that's the end of 'And Just Like That….' After three seasons of questionable character decisions, jaw-dropping plotlines and scenes that made fans watch the show through their fingers like it was a horror movie, Michael Patrick King's sequel to HBO's 'Sex and the City' has reached its conclusion. This month, King and executive producer Sarah Jessica Parker announced that the series finale would be split into two parts; the second episode aired Thursday night.
