Since its launch in 2009, Reformation a.k.a. Ref, has been redefining sustainable fashion, combining vintage-inspired designs with eco-conscious production, and the brand has a clear aim: to prove that sustainability can be both stylish and accessible. After all, its products have been climate neutral since 2015, the company earned Climate Neutral Certification in 2021, and next on the agenda is achieving full Circularity by 2030.

No stranger to sustainability or party-girl glamour, Ref has dropped its latest collaboration with ultimate it-girl Devon Lee Carlson. It's no surprise the two have teamed up, as the model and entrepreneur has a long-standing relationship with the brand, having previously modelled for Ref and hosted pop-ups for her label, Wildflower Cases, at the Reformation Vintage store on Melrose Avenue.

On the partnership, Lauren Caris Cohan, Chief Creative Officer at Reformation, says, 'For our third it-girl collab, we wanted to do something fresh, but still connected to this overarching idea of covetable style. Devon is as kind and creative and fun in real life as she seems on the internet. Our goal is for everyone who wears this collection to feel like they are borrowing something super special from their best dressed friend's closet.'
Offering a 20-piece collection, the vibe here is all about fun, upbeat, and channels the feeling of getting ready for a night out with your best friends, with Madonna's "Ray of Light" playing in the background to get the party started.

On what inspired the overall theme of the line, Devon shares, "The collection is designed to feel like you're dressing up like your favorite character in a rom com - it's super romantic and feminine. From a design standpoint, we reimagined a lot of vintage pieces from my personal closet, for example, my boyfriend's mom gave me a beautiful vintage Galliano dress from the '90s that is so special to me. It's one of the few pieces in my closet that is too precious to share so I worked with Ref to design a two piece set inspired by it. It has this beautiful scarf that makes it really fun to style and extra emotional." Devon continues, "We also recreated this pair of vintage high waisted shorts that made everyone's butt look perfect. I lost them, searched everywhere and could never find them again. I'm so happy they're back in my life."

The range includes bold animal print dresses, custom graphic tees, and on-trend low-rise bootcut jeans, all crafted from sustainable materials such as organic cotton, TENCEL® lyocell, and of course, dead stock fabrics have been incorporated to help reduce waste. As as for Devon's favorites, "the Kenny low rise jeans are out of a dream to me. Also fun fact, the photo on the Lizzie Tee is a shot of my pup with a pair of my shoes that she's obsessed with!"

Central to Ref is its approach to sustainability, and when it came to balancing style with sustainability, Devon says, "One thing I love about Reformation is that you would never know it's sustainable - there are no trade offs when it comes to style and design. You're just quietly doing your part and I think that's classy. I love shopping vintage from a values and uniqueness standpoint. That's what I like about Ref too, the limited edition nature of their clothing makes it feel really special."
Reformation x Devon Lee Carlson
This marks the third instalment of Reformation's it-girl series, following collaborations with Camille Rowe and Laura Harrier, and we'll have to see who's next.

Y&R's Bryton James is Ready for Another BTG Crossover

The crossover was a hit. Fans of The Young and the Restless and Beyond the Gates loved watching Devon Hamilton in Fairmont Crest. Bryton James had fun as well, even though he got first-day nerves. But he's ready for another return. First Day Jitters James brought Devon Hamilton to Fairmont Crest for a special episode. He gave Anita (Tamara Tunie) an intriguing offer: the opportunity to record her own jazz album, which she would also produce. Devon exuded cool and calm confidence. But on the inside, James had butterflies, reports Soap Opera Digest. READ THIS: Do Y&R's Devon and BTG's Bill share more than a last name? 'I was really nervous about not messing up,' James told EW. 'It's kind of [about] representing Y&R in the best way, and being my best for [Tunie and Davis], you know, being the focal points of the show. But they made me feel good.' Ready For Another Return? James also shared another scene with Dani (Karla Mosley). Sparks flew between them, and BTG and Y&R fans could tell that they had sizzling chemistry. Is it possible that James will return to Fairmont Crest? 'Absolutely,' James explained. 'From how well the crossover went behind the scenes to the ideas that they've had for the future, I think they want to keep stuff open for there to be any potential interactions with our show and theirs.' READ NEXT: BTG Fans want Dani with Y&R's Dani—but there's one problem. The soap actor is encouraging fans to use their voices on social media. This can help the writers develop storylines that incorporate Devon's role. 'If the fans enjoy the crossover and want to see more of this storyline and the little things that we dropped for the previous interaction, future interaction, let the writers know and let the network know, because they surely listen,' James added. Reformation is having a rare sale — and these editor (and Taylor Swift!) approved styles are 50% off

Save 50 per cent on celebrity and editor-approved dresses, jeans, sweaters and more. Confession — I'm a bit of a Reformation junkie. Much of my wardrobe real estate is dedicated to the cool girl brand and thus, a good chunk of my credit card bill, too. Over the past several years, I have invested in Reformation dresses (they're fantastic for weddings), jeans (my favourite pair are included below), sweaters and shoes. For the most part, I buy timeless, season-agnostic styles, like the popular Fantino Cashmere Collared Cardigan, to justify my (almost always) triple-digit splurge. Because Reformation is on the pricier side, the bulk of my spending happens when the brand holds one of its iconic sales, like the one happening right now. For a limited time, Reformation shoppers can snag some of the brand's bestselling styles for 50 per cent off, including several celebrity (like this Taylor Swift-approved mini) and editor-loved favourites. I did some digging and found a number of styles that I, and my fellow Yahoo Canada editors, own that are also on sale. If you keep scrolling, you'll find my aforementioned favourite jeans, most-worn ballet flats and more, all at a discount. To shop our editor-approved picks, plus a handful of other styles I'm adding to my cart, check out the details below. Reformation Is Having a Huge 50% off Sale Right Now

I am not a morning person. The opposite, really. I begrudgingly drag myself out of bed each morning with the lure of hot coffee and quiet delusion I'll make it through my to-do list without at least one menty b (it never happens). Howevs, today was different! I sprung off the mattress with a genuine zest for life. Why, you ask??? Because Reformation's end-of-summer sale is here and includes practically everything on my wish list. While technically the annual event kicked off last week, the real fun is just beginning. The hottest styles—including dresses, skirts, sets, you name it—are 50% off (!!!) right now. So, whether you're just grabbing a few standout pieces to carry you through the season, or your prefrontal lobe finally developed enough to swap your regretful impulse purchases for a new capsule wardrobe, this is The Sale ™️. You can take my word for it—my prefrontal lobe is fully developed! And while this won't be my only Reformation haul (we have a few weeks left and discounts are bound to go up), I can't imagine topping my current cart. The Marina Silk Dress, for example, checks allllll my boxes—it's lightweight, comes in the season's hottest print (polka dots!), and will transition so well into fall with a blazer or cardi. I'm also buying this belted denim jacket that levels up the wardrobe staple, button-down sweater dress, which feels like the perf transitional piece, and an under-$75 mini skirt that will look soooo cute with boots. I'm not just shopping everyday styles, though. Reformation is my fave destination for wedding guest looks—this $200-off floor-length number has seen many bouquet tosses—so I'm using the sale as the perfect excuse to stock up. This half-off cowl neck design is the kinda dress I'd wear if an ex was attending the same nuptials (or the best man was really hot), and this Cari halter moment feels like a cool twist on classic that I'll never tire of. Since I'm so obsessed with my other silk Ref dress, it only feels right to invest in another. This low-back-halter neck combo is elegant and flirty at the same priced at under $175?? It would be criminal not to buy. Oh, and ICYMI, The Summer I Turned Pretty wardrobe is basically a love letter to Reformation this season. Snag Belly's Daria Dress or the cutesie matching set she wore to plan her (hopefully soon-to-be cancelled) wedding to Jeremiah while they're 50% off. Or, celebrate celebrate Taylor Swift's Life of a Showgirl announcement with one of my fave dresses she's ever worn—this adorbs gingham style from last year's U.S. Open. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a very busy day ahead—of refreshing my order status until my package ships <3 Megan Schaltegger is an NYC-based writer. She loves strong coffee, eating her way through the Manhattan food scene, and her dog, Murray. She promises not to talk about herself in third person IRL.
