Its sleek design, strong battery backup, and standout main and telephoto cameras make it a compelling choice in a competitive market.
According to Bloomberg, referencing a study by McKinsey & Co, UK businesses are becoming more selective in hiring for positions that could be impacted by AI developments. The findings indicate that artificial intelligence is contributing to a broader cooling in the nation's employment trends, especially in sectors like tech and finance, where job listings have declined significantly.
Mark Zuckerberg has shown a willingness to wait for returns on large investments, such as WhatsApp, which remained ad-free for nearly a decade after its $19 billion acquisition. Now, as Meta pours $65 billion into AI infrastructure and competes to attract top talent, there are growing signs that the era of free AI tools may be nearing its end. Industry watchers anticipate that Meta will soon pivot toward monetising these offerings, a move that has left investors curious about the company's long-term strategy.

iQOO has confirmed that its new budget device, the iQOO Z10R, will launch in India on 24 July. While the company had already revealed the design, we now have more official details about the Z10R's display, processor, battery, and IP rating. The iQOO Z10R will feature a 120Hz OLED quad-curved display. It will also come with an IP68 + IP69 water and dust resistance rating, meaning it can handle being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes and can withstand cold or hot water jets from any direction. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, the same SoC seen on the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion and Realme Narzo 80 Pro. It will support up to 12GB of RAM, 12GB of virtual RAM, and 256GB of storage. The Z10R will pack a 5,700mAh battery with bypass charging support for gaming, though the official charger wattage is yet to be revealed. The device will include a large graphite cooling area to handle heat dissipation, and it will also come with a military-grade shock resistance rating for added durability. On the camera front, the iQOO Z10R will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor along with a 32MP front-facing camera. While details of the secondary rear camera haven't been revealed, it is likely to be a depth sensor, a common trend in the sub- ₹ 20,000 segment. Notably, the Z10R will support 4K video recording on both the front and rear cameras, a feature it borrows from the iQOO Neo 10 series. Another upgrade with the Z10R is the addition of a stereo speaker setup, unlike the Z10, which comes with a mono speaker. The phone will be available in two colour options, Aquamarine and Moonstone, and will feature a slim 7.39mm profile. The iQOO Z10R will be priced under ₹ 20,000 in India. If leaks are to be believed, the Z10R could also later be sold under the Vivo T4R moniker.

iQOO Z10R top specs revealed ahead of July 24 launch, price will be less than Rs 20,000
The iQOO Z10R is all set to launch on July 24, and ahead of its official unveiling, most of its key specifications are already out. iQOO has been steadily confirming features over the past few days, and while the exact price is still under wraps, the company has seemingly confirmed that it will be priced under Rs 20,000. This makes it a mid-range option with some rather impressive hardware on offer. The Z10R will join the iQOO Z10, Z10x, and Z10 Lite in the brand's Z series. From the looks of it, the Z10R could be placed between the Z10 and Z10x in terms of pricing and iQOO Z10R will feature a 120Hz AMOLED display with a quad-curved design. iQOO is calling it the slimmest quad-curved phone in India, measuring just 7.39mm in thickness. It'll be available in two colours — Aquamarine and Moonstone — and the back panel design is similar to the iQOO Z9s and even draws some inspiration from Vivo's V-series the hood, the iQOO Z10R runs on MediaTek's Dimensity 7400 chipset, which should offer similar performance to the Dimensity 7300 — the chipset that powers the iQOO Z10x. It will come with 12GB of physical RAM and an additional 12GB of virtual RAM for multitasking. There's no confirmation yet on whether there's going to be a lower-end RAM version as well, possibly with 8GB. Internal storage is 256GB. For cooling, iQOO is using a large graphite area to keep thermals in check during gaming or heavy use. You also get dual stereo speakers and IP68/69 ratings, which add a bit of durability to the package. Interestingly, the phone is also said to offer military-grade shock resistance. In terms of battery, the iQOO Z10R packs a 5,700mAh unit, making it the device with the smallest battery in the Z series. The Z10 has a 7,000mAh battery, the Z10x has 6,500mAh, while the Z10 Lite has a 6,000mAh battery. Nevertheless, charging is pretty fast at 90W, and bypass charging is also supported, which could be useful during gaming to prevent heat build-up. On the camera front, there's a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor at the back, capable of 4K recording, and a 32-megapixel front camera that also supports 4K iQOO Z10R will be sold via Amazon after launch, and with the kind of specs it offers, it's clearly aimed at users looking for a feature-rich phone under Rs 20,000. With the official launch now just a few days away, pricing will be the final piece of the puzzle.- Ends
