‘Heart dropped;' Man's car stolen during crime spree
A man is worried he will never see his car again.

Multijurisdictional auto task forces, like the Auto Suppression Task Force in Dayton, are one of the factors decreasing vehicle thefts nationwide.
The National Insurance Crime Bureau announced vehicle thefts are down 17 percent across the country.
However, one Englewood man is on the wrong side of that statistic.

'I got out of bed and walked down and saw my glass everywhere ... heart dropped,' Kaden Kenworthy said.
Kenworthy had his Chevrolet Camaro for just over a year before it was stolen from his apartment parking lot.
He reported it to the police — a week later, they found out the suspect used a rental car to go on a spree.
'They used that rental car to steal a car and then stole my car and a car from the apartment behind me,' Kenworthy said.
Kenworthy said he thinks the person or persons who took his car could be part of a complex vehicle theft ring.
'Maybe they've been watching for a bit. It's definitely crazy to learn that. The cops told me nowadays that is a new thing they do. They'll reprogram your car from a tablet or something with a key,' Kenworthy said.
Englewood police last spotted Kenworthy's stolen car going southbound on Main Street with the help of cameras.
The vehicle information was logged into a database.
Kenworthy isn't sure he will ever see his car again.

Georgia man drowns after caught in Gulf rip current
Authorities in Florida said a 47-year-old Georgia man died Sunday after drowning in the Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf County Sheriff's Office said on social media that Timothy Franklin was swimming with a family member when he got caught in a rip current. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Deputies responded at about 2 p.m. to an emergency call about a possible drowning in the 3800 blook of Cape San Blas Road in Port St. Joe. They found emergency personnel from Gulf County EMS and South Gulf Fire Rescue engaged in life-saving efforts that ultimately proved unsuccessful. The Gulf County Sheriff's Office said 'it is grateful for the numerous members of the community that have wrapped themselves around the Franklin family to provide support during this incredibly difficult time. This is a heartbreaking incident, and the family remains in our thoughts and prayers.' A GoFundMe has been started on the family's behalf, according to media reports. Driver pulls out knife on couple driving too slow in Kennesaw neighborhood, police say
Ten miles below the speed limit: that is what one driver told Kennesaw police drove him to pull a knife during a road rage incident in the Legacy Park community. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] 'He said the reason why he was agitated was because the driver was going 25 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone,' explained Ofc. David Buchanan about why 55-year-old Giancarlo Russo is accused of pulling a knife on his neighbors during a road rage incident. It happened in Kennesaw in the Legacy Park neighborhood. A husband and wife got to a stop sign to find the driver, Russo, behind them was outraged, when he blocked their car with his own. 'The offender pulled in front of them and blocked them, got out of his car, he was holding a knife and was threatening towards them,' Buchanan told Channel 2's Candace McCowan. 'He was trying to get the male driver out of the vehicle to instigate some type of altercation or fight. The victim stayed in the car, got away safely, and called us.'
