Mohit Suri, Arijit Singh & Mithoon reunite for Dhun, a new soulful track from Saiyaara celebrating love, life, and emotional strength.
The musical trio that gave Bollywood some of its most unforgettable melodies—Mohit Suri, Mithoon, and Arijit Singh—are back together for a brand-new track titled Dhun from the upcoming romantic film Saiyaara. After delivering chartbusters like Tum Hi Ho, Chahun Main Ya Naa, and Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga, the collaboration returns with a song that celebrates love, resilience, and the strength to overcome life's struggles.
Set to release tomorrow, Dhun is already being touted as a soulful addition to what is being called the best Bollywood album of the year. Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara marks the first collaboration between the filmmaker and the legendary production house.

Speaking about the collaboration, Suri said, 'They say when stars align, magic happens. I would credit the stars for bringing first Mithoon and then Arijit Singh into my life because I have been fortunate to create my best music with these two once-in-a-lifetime artists."
Tracing his two-decade-long musical journey with Mithoon, Suri added, 'Mithoon and I go back to 2005 when we worked on Zeher and Kalyug. Since then, we've collaborated on Murder 2, Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Half Girlfriend, Malang, and now Saiyaara. Our bond is built on trust, creativity, and a shared love for emotional storytelling through music."
The pressure to deliver another hit track is something Suri embraces. 'Whenever Mithoon and I team up, there are big expectations from us, and we relish that pressure. It fuels us to create something worth remembering."
On working with Arijit Singh, the director got emotional. 'Arijit has given me incredible memories—from Tum Hi Ho to Humdard and Chal Ghar Chalen. These aren't just songs; they are pieces of my heart."
Suri describes Dhun as 'a celebration of the struggle in love and life, and the motivation real adversity can provide. It's about the never-give-up spirit, something we all need today."
Featuring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Saiyaara has already generated buzz with its powerful storytelling and an album that includes hit songs by Jubin Nautiyal (Barbaad), Vishal Mishra (Tum Ho Toh), and Sachet–Parampara (Humsafar).
The word Saiyaara—which means a wandering celestial body—beautifully captures the poetic essence of the film: something or someone dazzling, ethereal, always guiding, but always just out of reach.
Saiyaara is produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani and is set to release in theatres worldwide on July 18, 2025.

War 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Hrithik Roshan-Jr. NTR's movie crosses ₹150 crore mark, mints THIS amount on Sunday

War 2 Box Office Collection Day 4: Action-packed YRF Spy Universe series film, War 2, performed well on its first 3 days at the box office and crossed ₹ 150 crore mark on the fourth day. According to trade industry tracker Sacnilk, War 2 earned an estimated ₹ 21.65 crore (India net) at the box office in India on Sunday. The movie had a 27.85% Hindi occupancy on Sunday in 2D, 42.96% Tamil occupancy in Tamil (2D) and 30.12% Telugu occupancy (2D). Sacnilk reported that War 2 had collected an overall total of ₹ 215 crore worldwide by Saturday, including ₹ 142.6 crore net in India and ₹ 45 crore from overseas. The earnings include 99.5 crore in Hindi, ₹ 90 lakhs in Tamil and ₹ 42.2 crore in Telegu. On the day of release (Thursday), War 2 collected ₹ 52 crore (India net), which increased to ₹ 57.35 crore on Friday and ₹ 33.25 crore on Saturday. Sequel to the 2019 film War, War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Yash Raj Films, reportedly at a budget of ₹ 300-400 crore. Apart from lead actors Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, the movie features Kiara Advani, Ashutosh Rana, and Anil Kapoor in key roles. 'Things get complicated when Kabir Dhaliwal, a secret agent, is accused of betraying his nation and his former batchmate Vikram is assigned the task of finding him," stated film database platform IMDb while describing the plot of the film. While giving 1.5 stars to the action thriller, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh called War 2 "disappointing." In a post on the social media platform X, he wrote,'Weakest film in #YRFSpyUniverse... Has star power, scale, style, stunts - but lacks soul... Writing is the biggest culprit here... Not even #HrithikRoshan and #NTR can save this royal mess. Notably, film business analyst Sumit Kadel described it as a 'catastrophic opening,' given the scale, star cast, and franchise value. With two of the biggest superstars from North and South, Kadel highlighted, 'The major highlight of the film is the Jaanabe Ali song and dance performed by both leads.'

War 2 box office collection day 4 (updated live): Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR film sees a surprising drop, crosses ₹150 crore

War 2 box office collection: War 2 is having a topsy-turvy time at the box office, to say the least. The Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR-starrer began on an underwhelming note on Thursday, before it finally picked up pace on Friday, courtesy the Independence Day holiday. But since then, the film has slowed down, showing a surprising drop over the remainder of its extended opening weekend. War 2 box office collection day 4: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR headline this YRF spy thriller. War 2 box office update War 2 earned ₹142.60 crore net ( ₹170 crore gross) in India in its first three days. This included a worrying 42% drop on Saturday, across both the Hindi and Telugu versions. The trend seems to be continuing on Sunday. According to Sacnilk, by 4 pm on Sunday, War 2 had earned ₹15.56 crore net. This is a slowdown that may hurt the film's lifetime haul. However, despite the slowdown, the initial momentum has meant that War 2 has now crossed ₹150 crore worldwide in four days. On Saturday, the film also crossed ₹200 crore gross worldwide on the back of a decent showing overseas. However, given that the Ayan Mukerji film has a reported landing cost of around ₹400 crore, it still has a long way to go before it breaks even. War 2 vs Coolie box office Rajinikanth's Coolie, which released in theatres on the same day as War 2, seems to be winning the box office clash, despite getting fewer screens across India. Coolie has already crossed ₹170 crore, and will reach the ₹200 crore mark much quicker. In addition, its overseas collection ($16 million) is much higher than War 2's $5 million. All about War 2 War 2 is part of the YRF Spy Universe, which includes Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Salman Khan's Tiger series. The film's post-credits scene features Bobby Deol setting up the Spy Universe's next release, Alpha. That film will star Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in lead, and will release this December.

Ayan Mukerji's highly anticipated War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, hit the screens on August 14 with sky-high expectations. But the film drew mixed-to-negative reviews for its weak storyline and underwhelming VFX. Now, adding to the criticism, even members from within YRF's own spy universe have voiced disappointment, with Pathaan's assistant director Rajvir Ashar calling the film a 'colossal' let-down. A still from War 2 featuring actors Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. He further criticised the lack of emotional depth in the film, adding, 'Neither did it have enough highs nor was it successful in resonating with me emotionally!
