Things are getting serious! Jelena Dokic shares a look inside her romantic holiday in Bali with new man Yane
The pair, who went Instagram official in recent weeks, have headed off on vacation to Bali together.
The former Australian tennis champion was spotted at the airport arriving for the trip on Monday, and on Tuesday shared a glimpse at the getaway with her fans.
In the photo, shared to Instagram, the 42-year-old beamed as she posed alongside Yane while they visited some sweet monkeys.
'Two monkeys,' Yane captioned the holiday snap, which Jelena re-shared to her own social media.
She also posted several more images from the trip.
The sports commentator enjoyed a luxurious lunch in one image, posing in an emerald dress which showcased her recent weight loss.
Further images showed Jelena enjoying the natural surroundings, with Yane behind the camera capturing her bliss.
The couple went Instagram official, posing together in a loved-up selfie last month.
Jelena gushed over her man in the caption, writing: 'You are my calm, safe, peaceful and happy place. So glad I found you.'
Little is known about Yane, who is a hospitality operations manager, but his Instagram bio describes him as a 'food and wine enthusiast, pleasure seeker and life enjoyer.'
It comes after the pair sparked marriage rumours last month.
Jelena sent tongues wagging when she visited a Melbourne bridal store and hinted that 'something special' was coming.
'Something insane coming very soon...,' she gushed in the post alongside images of bridal gowns from bridal boutique Alin Le' Kal.
'Something special in the works with Alin Le' Kal,' she captioned the second image.
Lastly, Jelena uploaded a video as she panned the camera to show the entire bridal store.
Only weeks earlier, she was spotted cuddling up to a 'mystery man' at Melbourne Airport, who turned out to be Yane.
Late last year, Jelena revealed she had been 'closed off' to finding love ever since she split from her long-time Brazilian boyfriend, Tin Bikic.
The couple were together for almost 19 years before announcing they had ended their relationship in 2021.
Despite saying that her walls have been up ever since, Jelena took to Instagram to make the heartbreaking admission that she's 'scared of being alone' for the rest of her life.
'Love. It's been a challenging personal period. We don't talk about this enough but relationship breakdowns are so tough,' she said alongside a selfie.
'And if you have been the one left hurt or abandoned then let's be honest, it's just life-shattering. And as you get older, it only gets tougher with more scars, pain and hurt.
'My 19-year relationship ended 4 years ago and while we will always care for each other especially because we were together since we were 20, that chapter is over.'
Jelena went on to say that she was 'built' to love one person 'unconditionally and so fully that it gets me in trouble'.
The Australian tennis commentator said she now has 'a lot of abandonment issues' from her past, which make her 'feel like I will be alone forever'.
The former tennis star is riding high after winning her first-ever Logie on Sunday night in the Best Factual or Documentary Program category for her documentary special Unbreakable: The Jelena Dokic Story.
Jelena admitted she was in complete shock over the win, confessing she hadn't prepared a speech and had planned to simply 'wing it' if her name was called.

Billi Mucklow has the 'best summer yet' during family holiday after ex-husband Andy Carroll's relationship drama with Lou Teasdale
Billi Mucklow said she has had the 'best summer yet' during family holiday after ex-husband Andy Carroll's relationship drama with Lou Teasdale. Sharing a series of photos to Instagram on Tuesday, the former TV personality, 37, was in high spirits as she enjoyed some time away with her mum and her children. Billi split from Andy, 36, last year after two years of marriage and he quickly moved on from her with Lou, 41. A few weeks ago it was claimed they had sensationally split after a series of rows, but Andy has since revealed he is back with Lou after Daily Mail exclusively revealed on Wednesday it was Lou who called off the relationship. Meanwhile, Billi, who recently showed off her revenge body, soaked up some sun with her three children - Arlo, Wolf, and Marvel Mae - and Andy's children Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14 from his past relationship. Proving she was having the best time, Billi captioned the update: 'My superwoman @paulamucklow thanks for the best summer ever! I've learnt from the best there is.' Elsewhere, Andy shared a cosy snap from his date night with girlfriend Lou Teasdale on Monday, days after confirming they were back together. The couple split this this week after a series of rows, with initial reports claiming the footballer dumped the make-up artist after becoming fed up with her high maintenance behaviour. However, Daily Mail exclusively revealed it was in fact Lou who called off the relationship, and on Sunday, Andy revealed they've decided to give their relationship another go after he vowed to cut back on booze. The Dagenham and Redbridge star shared a snap from his evening at the cinema, where he and Lou, who was tagged in the post, indulged in pizza together. Over the weekend, Andy said he's vowed to cut down on alcohol in a bid to save their relationship after boozy rows as he confirmed the pair are trying 'to work through their difficulties'. He told The Sun on Sunday: 'I love Lou and I love her family. We row like any couple.' Referring to his divorce from wife Billi, who he shares three children with, Andy added: 'Things have been difficult for me and I'm going through a divorce. 'Some of our rows have been about alcohol, as Lou has been teetotal for 14 years and I have a beer or wine at dinner and a drink after the game, but it's not a problem in my life. We're better off together and we're trying to work through our difficulties.' Proving she was having the best time, Billi captioned the update: 'My superwoman @paulamucklow thanks for the best summer ever! I've learnt from the best there is' The pair, who were together for just over a year, unfollowed each other on social media and Andy wiped all trace of Lou from his Instagram. They now follow each other on Instagram and have added their loved-up snaps back to their pages. On Wednesday, a source told the Daily Mail: 'It was Lou who ended her relationship with Andy, she walked away a few days ago, it was very much her choice to end their romance. 'She isn't interested in pointing the finger or blaming him and hoped to deal with their split in private, before he blocked her on Instagram and deleted their photos together. 'Lou is very upset by how everything has played out and the arguments between them were especially difficult for her to go through. 'However, Andy wants Lou back and flew to Ibiza via private jet on Tuesday just to find her, even though he has no idea where she's staying. 'He will think it's a romantic gesture but for Lou, she's unimpressed and just wants to be away with her family, she's not interested in any of his attempts at a reconciliation now. 'All she has done all year is love and support Andy, her feelings haven't gone away, but Lou has to protect herself now and ending the relationship is the only way to move forward.' The father-of-five returned to the UK with Dagenham & Redbridge last month after a two-year spell in France. The couple's last public outing was at an Oasis gig at the end of July, where they packed on the PDA, proving they were still together. The date night came after the ex footballer was interrogated about the arguments with his make-up artist lover in a restaurant and at their hotel on the Greek party island, The Sun on Sunday reported. Andy has now vowed to cut down on alcohol in a bid to save their relationship after boozy rows as he confirmed the pair are trying 'to work through their difficulties' Speaking about the first incident, a worker at the Nikolus Tavern told the newspaper: 'He seemed very drunk and furious with his partner. 'He was using very bad words. It was improper behaviour. The woman looked very upset.' According to the restaurant worker, police arrived and took the ex-England striker aside for a chat, before he was later allowed back to girlfriend Lou. 'Police spoke to him. He was allowed to return, and the couple left after paying for their meal. Andy was very calm when the police arrived — he stood up and spoke to them outside the restaurant', the restaurant worker added. Just hours later, cops were called again by hotel staff following reports of damage in their room. Daily Mail understands that the former England forward was taken to the police station for questioning, but he was not arrested and no further action was taken. The incident was confirmed by a hotel employee, who claimed Andy broke the door. That night, Lou left the hotel and spent the night at Soho Roc House.

Did you solve it? Are you a matcha for these tasty Japanese puzzles?
Earlier today I set you three puzzles from Tasty Japanese Morsels in Recreational Mathematics. Here they are again with solutions. 1. Squid game Two octopuses will face off in a boxing match. Each octopus requires eight gloves. (There is no distinction between left and right gloves.) The rules of octopus boxing stipulate that an octopus must only wear gloves of the same colour. There is a bag containing 16 red gloves and 16 green gloves. Find the minimum number of gloves that must be drawn at random from the bag to guarantee that the colours of the gloves of the two octopuses are (a) the same. (b) different. (c) either the same or different. Solution (a) 31 (b) 24 (c) 23 (a) If the lone glove left behind is red, both octopuses can wear green gloves. If the lone glove left behind is green, both octopuses can wear red gloves. (b) Imagine the first 16 choices are all of one colour. You will then need 8 of the other. (c) With 23 gloves, at least 7 are one colour (say red) and at least 8 are the other (say green). If there there exactly 7 red, then both octopuses can wear green. If there are more than 7 red, one can wear red and the other green. (Likewise, if at least 7 are green, and at least 8 are red, we get the same result.) 2. Sum-o wrestling. The diagram below represents a multiplication in which all but two of the digits have been replaced by stars. Reconstruct the computation. Solution Replace the stars with letters A to J. H must be 1 since F plus the carry of (D+G) must be 10 or larger. In fact, since the carry of D+E can at most be 1, it must be the case that H = 1, I = 0, and F = 9. We also know thanks to the given 1, that D + G = 11. Also, note that E = J Now to the multiplications. We know that 2 × AB = FG = ninety-somthing. So A = 4. And since C x AB = DE, we can deduce that C is 1 or 2. (If it was 3 or larger C x AB would have threedigits.) Suppose C = 1. Then AB = DE, which means that D = A = 4. However, we know G must be even, since G = 2 x B, so D + G is even, but this contradicts D + G = 11. Hence C = 2 and D = F = 9. It follows that J = E = G = 2 and B = 6. 3. Another boxing puzzle A restaurant uses 4 × 4 and 5 × 5 Bento boxes each divided into exactly eight square sections, as shown in the diagram below. The chef has asked you to create Bento boxes with rectangular boxes. Each Bento must still have eight square sections, even though, as in the example, the square sections do not have to be all of the same size. Design a 4 × 6 Bento box, a 3 × 9 Bento box, and a 5 × 6 Bento box. Solution Here's the 4 x 6 and the 3 x 9 And here's the 5 x 6 I hope you enjoyed these puzzles. I'll be back in two weeks. Arigato! Tasty Japanese Morsels in Recreational Mathematics is published by the American Mathematical Association. All the diagrams above are taken from the book. I've been setting a puzzle here on alternate Mondays since 2015. I'm always on the look-out for great puzzles. If you would like to suggest one, email me.

Horrifying moment tourist suffers severe injury after flaming jumping rope ‘barbeques' her neck
A shocking video shows the moment a woman was left with severe burns after a flaming skipping rope got wrapped around her neck at a full moon party. Karen Liseth, 22, went on a three-month trip to Thailand, and planned to go on to Bali, when she attended a celebration at a beach on the second week of the vacation. After a few drinks, she decided to 'do something crazy' - and asked her partner, Abed, now 29, to film her skipping with a flaming jump rope. Karen Liseth, 22, was left with severe burns after a flaming skipping rope got wrapped around her neck at a full moon party Everything was going to plan - until she tried to duck back out of the rope and it wrapped around her neck. Onlookers gasped in shock as the rope 'barbecued her' - leaving her with a sore and blackened neck. The business developer, from London, England, said she 'counts her blessings' the injury wasn't worse, because the rope could have hit her eyes or set her hair on fire. Karen said: 'I'd had a few drinks at the party and thought, "Why not do something crazy?" 'But then I completely miscalculated how to leave, and ran the other way - with the rope wrapping around my neck. 'I think I just felt adrenaline in the moment and laughed it off. I even had a few shots to help with the pain after!' Karen and her partner were visiting the Thai island of Ko Pha Ngan when they attended the party. She decided to be daring and skip with the rope - and asked Abed to film it. Karen added: 'I was in shock with the adrenaline at the time. 'After, my partner sat me down to check I was okay - that was when I realized it was painful and I started to cry.' The couple were stuck on the island until the morning - and Karen, then 18, said she woke up in pain. But due to how remote the area was, they crossed their fingers it would heal by itself and continued their trip. Karen said: 'I woke up and I couldn't really move my neck. 'I called my mom and told her what happened - she was like: "What the f***, Karen?" She was so concerned. 'It was a pain to shower and even to have my hair sat on my neck - I had to have my hair up for a few days because of the stinging. 'But I did carry on going in the sea and showering. 'It scabbed over, then the scabs came off a few times - after about two weeks it had healed.' Now fully healed, it has hardly even scarred - and there is virtually no evidence of the injury. Karen said she struggled to watch the video in the weeks after the injury in June 2022, but now can watch it with ease. She added: 'It was a horror, but it didn't ruin the vacation. That video describes my crazy personality really - it's a cool story to tell. 'This is a perfect example of what not to do when you've had a few drinks - I don't drink like that any more! 'But I was young - you do silly things.'
