Postecoglou teases potential third season at Spurs during Europa League parade
Two days after Brennan's Johnson's winner in Bilbao fired Tottenham to a 1-0 victory over Manchester United, which ended a 17-year trophy drought, the players were back in north London.
A white double-decker bus with 'Europa League winners' written across the front started in Edmonton Green at 5.30pm before it moved down the High Road to chants of 'glory, glory Tottenham Hotspur' from supporters young and old.

An estimated 150,000 fans were expected to swarm on areas around Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with plenty on roofs and bus stops to get a better vantage point before a stage outside the club's 62,850-seater venue allowed for further adulation.
Postecoglou had to pause before he addressed a buoyant crowd, which belted out his song to the tune of Robbie Williams' hit 'Angels' for one of the first times this season.
The 59-year-old, who has faced continuous speculation over his future, then dropped a hint that he could get his wish of a third campaign at Spurs.
'I told them and they laughed. I told them and they didn't believe, but here we are,' Postecoglou said in reference to his autumn claim that he 'always wins things' in his second year.
'We're here because of this unbelievable group of people players and staff, absolute heroes led by the legend Son Heung-min, Cuti (Cristian) Romero, James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario. All of them, heroes.
'They did it all for you, because you deserve it. This club deserves it.
'And I'll tell you something, I'll leave you with this – all the best television series, season three is better than season two. Thank you.'
It was met with enormous cheers, with Daniel Levy watching on before several of the key figures from Wednesday's win at San Mames took to the stage.
Captain Son Heung-min and James Maddison could not help themselves from the odd expletive.
Match-winner Johnson, who turned 24 on Friday, also had happy birthday sang to him before fireworks were let out from the roof of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium alongside blue and white confetti.
This is Spurs' first trophy parade since a 1991 FA Cup win and club greats were on hand to reflect on the achievements of the class of '25.
Graham Roberts scored in the 1984 UEFA Cup success and backed this current team to claim more silverware, he said: 'This will give them belief now. All that pressure that was there, that's gone.

'They love Ange, they went round him, they cuddled him, they wanted him in the photos. The team spirit is there.
'We'll get more now, the rest will come.'
Micky van de Ven, who produced a miraculous clearance in Bilbao, echoed those sentiments on the open-top bus, he said: 'If you experience this, you want to do it over and over again. We're going to try to do the same beautiful things next season.'
Birthday boy Johnson added: 'It's definitely up there, I can't think of many better!
'Unbelievable day. So good to soak it all in.
'The club has so many supporters, so many real supporters, who haven't won anything in a little while so I expected it to be unbelievable and it's exceeded my expectations.'
Maddison, with a beer in hand, insisted: 'I love this club, man. It's the best decision I ever made, joining this club.'
Son added: 'Our group, we have done it. I'm so proud of this group. Today is the day that is special. I'm very lucky I was captain.'

Things that will be new for Wrexham in the Championship
Phil Parkinson's men finished runners-up in League One this term, securing an historic third successive promotion. The Reds have climbed from the National League to the second tier where they will ply their trade for the first time in 43 years. One positive in going up to the division one below the Premier League is that Wrexham will enter the FA Cup at the third round stage. For a club that has reached the quarter-finals three times in their history, it's about time Wrexham fans experienced another run on the road to Wembley. During their last stint in the old Second Division, which lasted four seasons, Wrexham twice reached the fifth round and they never lost a third round tie. One of the highlights was a 3-1 win at Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest in 1982. Forest were European Cup champions at the time but Dixie McNeil, Mick Vinter and Steve Dowman shut the legendary manager up before the Reds bowed out 2-1 to Chelsea when the fourth round tie was decided following a second replay, and Mel Sutton's side were relegated back to Division Three at the end of that 1981-82 season. During the 15-year non-league nightmare, Wrexham came in at the fourth qualifying round stage and had to win three games just to stand a chance of receiving a plum third round tie against a Premier League side, while two victories were required to reach that stage since returning to the EFL with the Reds entering in round one. But the Reds will definitely be in the hat for the third round draw next season. That's a huge boost and so is the fact that there will be no EFL Trophy distractions, with Championship teams not involved in the competition where Parkinson's men reached the semi-finals this season, playing three group-stage games and four knockout ties. But Wrexham will play more midweek league games in the second tier because of international weekend breaks. There will be no league matches on the weekends of September 6, October 11 and November 15 this year, and March 28, 2026. Although Wrexham got used to playing at big stadiums this season in League One, 20 and 30,000 capacities are the norm in the Championship. The biggest attendance could be away at Sheffield Wednesday whose Hillsborough capacity is a whopping 39,732! With the temporary stand at The Racecourse being taken down this summer and work starting on the new Kop, Wrexham will have the smallest capacity in the division at just over 10,000. The next lowest is Oxford United's Kassam Stadium which has room for 12,500 fans. Parkinson will be able to name nine substitutes next term - two more than he could select in League One and Two, and up from five replacements in the National League. It's been an amazing journey since Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney became co-chairmen and while the step-up to the Championship will be the biggest experienced so far, Parkinson, his staff and players are there on merit and will relish the challenge ahead.

Man Utd face Bryan Mbeumo fight as striker drops clear summer transfer hint
Manchester United have already made one major signing this summer, bringing in Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and plenty more incomings and outgoings are expected at Old Trafford Manchester United are set for a huge summer as they look to bounce back from their worst ever Premier League campaign. United finished 15th in the league last season and failed to qualify for the Champions League after they were beaten 1-0 in the Europa League final by Tottenham. Ruben Amorim has already strengthened his squad with the capture of Matheus Cunha from Wolves and plenty more incomings and outgoings are expected. Despite their poor season, United do have money to spend with CEO Omar Berrada stating earlier this year: "We speak to Ruben very frequently. "Ruben has a good relationship with Jason Wilcox. They both share the vision of how they want to see the team playing. It is about planning properly for the summer transfer window and having a clear idea of what players we want to bring in. "We're making some big efforts to get us in the best financial position. Even if we're outside of Europe - I think we will be in a position to invest in the squad." With that in mind, Mirror Football has taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and rumours from Old Trafford... Mbeumo fight United are hoping to sign Bryan Mbeumo this summer, but Tottenham look set to try and hijack the move. Brentford boss Thomas Frank is expected to replace Ange Postecoglou at Spurs and Mirror Football understands that he wants to bring Mbeumo with him to north London. United have held extensive talks with Mbeumo, but are yet to reach an agreement with Brentford. Although the Red Devils are ready to offer Mbeumo a more lucrative deal, the lure of Champions League football and continuing to work with Frank could tip the balance in Spurs' favour. Hojlund hint Rasmus Hojlund has been linked with a move to Inter Milan this summer, but the striker has insisted he is "fully dedicated" to United. Hojlund managed just 10 goals in 52 games across all competitions last season and reports have claimed that Inter are ready to offer him an escape route. However, when asked about his future while on international duty with Denmark, Hojlund said: "I have a contract until 2030, so I expect to play for Manchester United. "I'm looking forward to going on a summer vacation, and then I'm fully dedicated to the project that's underway. I know I can't get much out of reading things. I know what the facts are, and that is that I have a contract with Manchester United until 2030. I expect to play there, so I'm just getting ready for some summer vacation and then hopefully a good pre-season." Garnacho offered exit Mirror Football understands that Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho. Garnacho is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer and Al-Nassr have emerged as a potential destination, with the Argentine viewed as an alternative target to Luis Diaz after Liverpool made it clear they do not want to sell him. United have also had enquiries from Saudi Arabia about Jadon Sancho after Chelsea decided to pay a £5m penalty fee instead of signing him permanently after a loan spell at Stamford Bridge.

Wrexham line up move for Tottenham star as Phil Parkinson looks to strengthen his squad for the Championship
Wrexham want Ben Davies despite Tottenham exercising their option to extend the defender's contract by 12 months at the weekend. Davies has been a Spurs player since 2014 and he featured in 28 games under Ange Postecoglou last season, despite not being a member of the manager's first-choice XI. Davies has played 358 games for Tottenham in total, operating both as a left back and a central defender. He is a popular member of the dressing room and especially close to captain Son Heung-min. Davies recently saw his contract extended until June 2026, which means Wrexham would likely need to pay Spurs a modest transfer fee to land him this summer. Tottenham's willingness to let Davies leave could depend on whether or not they are successful in their attempts to sign Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite. Spurs are expected to formalise their interest in 22-year-old Branthwaite next week. Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson looks set for a busy summer following his side's promotion from League One to the Championship. Davies has never played below the top tier of English football, having been a Premier League player for his entire club career to date. The 32-year-old made 71 Premier League appearances for Swansea between 2012 and 2014. He has played a further 242 Premier League games for Spurs.
