Bonnie Bartlett Remembers Working on Little House on the Prairie: "The Best Time of My Life
At 95,
Bonnie Bartlett
is looking back on her career in television with warmth—and one of the most beloved periods of her work. On the April 28 edition of the Pod Meets World podcast, the longtime actress shared about working on the iconic show
Little House on the Prairie
and how that gig materialized following a deliberate hiatus from acting.
Bartlett, who has been married to fellow actor William Daniels—widely known as Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World—since 1951, shared with podcast hosts Will Friedle, Danielle Fishel, and Rider Strong how she balances career and motherhood. Prior to joining Little House in 1974 as Grace Snider Edwards, Bartlett had stepped away from Hollywood for a time to raise the couple's two sons, Michael and Robert.
"I didn't work because I had the two little boys," she remembered happily, adding that she did some theater now and then during those years.
"That was the best time of my life."
When the family moved to California, Daniels was working regularly in television, and his agent urged Bartlett to audition once more. One of those auditions took her directly to Little House on the Prairie—and to
Michael Landon
.
"His agent sent me over to Michael [Landon], and he said, it's just a general appointment," she said. "But as it turned out, he hired me that day."
Landon, who played Pa Ingalls and served as executive producer and director of the series, instantly saw potential in Bartlett.
'He met me and he said, 'I've got a part for you,'' she said. Within days, she was on set filming her first episodes as Grace, a character she would portray across 26 episodes of the iconic family drama.
Bartlett's career later led her to
Boy Meets World
, where she again co-starred with her husband on screen as Dean Lila Bolander, Mr. Feeny's love interest. But it's apparent that Little House on the Prairie means a very special spot in her heart—not even so much for the role, but for the timing of her life.
For Bartlett, it wasn't about going back to work—it was about returning to her passion after giving her heart completely to family. And with decades of experience under her belt, she remains a gracious reminder of how a career can develop with love, patience, and a timely opportunity.

6 things Rockstar did right in GTA 5 that must return
When GTA V dropped in 2013, it didn't just raise the bar, it became the bar. From dynamic gameplay to unforgettable characters, Rockstar delivered a near-perfect open-world experience. Now, as we count down to GTA VI , one thing's clear: some things from GTA V absolutely need to return. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Here's a quick hit-list of what Rockstar nailed, and why we need more of it. 1. Character Switching Michael, Franklin, and Trevor - three wildly different personalities, three storylines, and one seamless mechanic to switch between them. This wasn't just a gimmick. It made the story richer, gave missions variety, and let players explore the world from different angles. Rockstar, please don't leave this behind. How GTA 6 Graphics are SO REALISTIC! 2. A Living, Breathing Open World Los Santos felt alive . Pedestrians had conversations, animals roamed the wild, and random events could trigger anywhere. It wasn't more than just background, it was part of the game. Whether you were chasing a purse thief or stumbling into a cult, the world responded to you. This kind of immersive sandbox is what makes Rockstar games iconic, and it's non-negotiable for GTA VI. 3. Heists That Made You Think Heists weren't just about shooting your way through. You had to plan, choose your crew, pick your approach, and deal with the consequences. These multi-layered missions gave players creative freedom and replayability. Honestly, GTA V's heists felt like mini-games inside the main game. That's gold. Rockstar, bring them back, and make them bigger. 4. Killer Radio Stations & Soundtrack Music in GTA has always been a vibe, but GTA V perfected it. From flying down the highway with Kendrick blasting to tuning in for hilarious talk shows, the soundtrack shaped the entire feel of the game. Rockstar knows how to mix iconic hits with hidden gems, and we need another banger playlist in GTA VI. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Period. All 13 Side Activities In GTA 6! Who's Excited? #fyp #gta6 #grandtheftauto #videogame #news 5. Next-Level Side Activities Tennis. Yoga. Golf. Stock market trading. Bounty hunting. GTA V blurred the lines between side quests and full-blown games. These weren't throwaway extras, they were legit fun. It made the game feel endless, like there was always something to do. GTA VI shouldn't just bring this back, it should level it up. 6. Online Mode That Grew With Players Say what you want about GTA Online, but it's a juggernaut. Heists, roleplaying servers, weekly events, business empires. Rockstar built an entire second life into the game. If GTA VI's online mode learns from this and launches stronger from day one, it could be even more massive. GTA V wasn't just successful because it was big. It was smartly big, packed with details, features, and freedom that made players lose hours without even realizing it. If Rockstar carries forward these six wins into GTA VI, we're not just looking at a good sequel. We're looking at a generational leap.

General Hospital May 30 Episode Spoilers: Michael's Baby Secret at Risk of Exposure in Court as Nina Stands Against Him
On Friday's General Hospital episode, tensions escalate as secrets come undone and brazen maneuvers rock Port Charles. Carly Spencer plans her dangerous scheme while Sasha is at the eye of a brewing storm of legal woes. Carly (Laura Wright) goes to Curtis with a dirty proposal, using Aurora to discredit Drew Cain's reputation in court. While Curtis cautions her that this can blow up in her face, Carly appears set on winning custody cases for Michael, even if it involves getting dirty. At the same time, Sasha is called out by Michael with a big ask. He will request that she does not reveal the truth about the father of their baby since Ric summons her to testify. Sasha is willing to keep the secret, but their scheme is already on shaky grounds. Will Nina expose Michael? Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) also knows that Michael is the actual father of the baby and might use this fact to assist Willow in court. However, Ava cautions restraint. Outing Sasha might trigger a comeback leak regarding Nina's fling with Drew. Elsewhere, Gio departs Emma after the cabin getaway, raising alarm when he vanishes without notice. His inner conflict might direct him directly to Lois, who already has a conflict with Brook Lynn regarding her reconnection efforts. Meanwhile, Alexis gives Kristina a tough dose of reality: if the probe into the crash keeps going on, she might wind up in prison. With Lucky in the mix as well, Kristina's future is on the line and getting riskier by the day.
