In the 68th episode of the Arena Sports Show, presenter Clauiee Grace Mpanza and regular guest Mahlatse Mphahlele discuss the sporting news of the week dominated by Mamelodi Sundowns losing in the Caf Champions League final.
Other major topics are this weekend's United Rugby Championship (URC) semifinals and the World Test Championship (WTC) final between the Proteas and Australia at Lord's from June 11 to 15.
The Brazilians lost 3-2 on aggregate to Pyramids FC in the Champions League final and this has put immense pressure on coach Miguel Cardoso, who was brought in to win the competition and made some strange decisions over the two legs.
Sundowns supporters are divided on whether the Portuguese boss should stay, but for now he appears to enjoy the support of Downs' management, who don't want to make a coaching change shortly before the Fifa Club World Cup in the US that starts on June 14.
Mpanza and Mphahlele discuss what went wrong over the two legs where Sundowns conceded a late goal at home for a 1-1 draw and lost 2-1 in Cairo.
Also in the show, they preview the hugely anticipated URC semifinal between traditional rivals the Bulls and Sharks at Loftus on Saturday.

'I advised Chiefs to sign Mayele but Bobby ignored me'
Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Kanga Nzenza says he once advised Amakhosi to sign Congolese top striker Fiston Mayele, but his plea was left unheard. Mayele is one of the hottest strikers on the African continent, having helped Pyramids win the CAF Champions League this past weekend. The 30-year-old finished the competition as the top goalscorer, having scored in the semi-final and final. He can blend well with the Chiefs players and has been performing well, even though he may not be in top form at the moment. 'I even mentioned to that I was struggling to reach Bobby Motaung about Mayele because he is always busy. My plea was that Chiefs must sign him. They received my message, but they didn't act on it,' added the retired footballer. 'At the time, he was playing for Yanga in Tanzania, but then a club from Egypt signed him. He's an exceptional player. Whenever he comes to play for the national team, they refer to him as a super sub. 'Whenever he comes on, he changes the game. Look at how Sundowns lost the [Caf] Champions League because of him.' Given how much Mayele earns at Pyramids, Kaizer Chiefs are unlikely to afford his wages. The striker is set to leave the Egyptian club at the end of the season, according to reports. Rulani Mokwena to Orlando Pirates: Major update!
Rulani Mokwena has opened up regarding a potential return to Orlando Pirates FC after parting ways with Wydad Athletic Club. Sharks vs Bulls: Siya Kolisi fired up for Loftus showdown
Based on the heavy criticism directed their way, you could be forgiven for thinking the Sharks have had a poor season in the United Rugby Championship, but Springbok skipper Siya Kolisi said all that matters is putting in a strong performance in their semi-final at Loftus Versfeld, in Pretoria, on Saturday. The Sharks finished the regular season third on the 16-team table, behind only the Bulls and Leinster. The Sharks scraped through their quarter-final against Munster, winning in a rare penalty shootout. One of the reasons there's been much criticism of the Sharks is that they have no fewer than 12 Springboks in their squad. Though regular captain Eben Etzebeth has been ruled out for the semi, it's not much of a disruption for Kolisi to take the captaincy reins. His first point of order was batting aside unwarranted jabs at his side. "I know this is a massive topic, there are many reasons why we haven't played to our full potential. A lot of people are looking at the results and the way we play,' Kolisi told "The most important thing is we are winning, and we know there will be a day where we will play well. We have a lot of confidence [in beating the Bulls] as our team has done this before. We have beaten the Bulls three times this season, but we know all of that means nothing and it will be a new fixture this weekend. We have a lot of confidence heading into the match.' During the penalty shootout with Munster, Sharks scrumhalf Jaden Hendrickse mysteriously lay prone on the field with apparent cramp after taking his kick. He was then seen winking at Munster's Jack Crowley in a clear act of gamesmanship, which sparked outrage from the visitors and on social media. Kolisi, though, gave his full backing to Hendrickse following the incident. "There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Jaden did there. These things happen in rugby, and other teams have done similar things before. Sometimes people also say things to me in a game, and the onus is on the person and what they do when they are provoked."
