Life as a devotee of Lord Shiva
Moved by his experiences, Hoshi handed over his business to his followers and embraced a spiritual life. Since then, he has built two Shiva temples, one inside his Tokyo home and another nearby. His devotion runs deep. He now spends his time travelling between Japan and India, spreading his love for Lord Shiva.

Hoshi is not stopping here. According to Ramesh Sundriyal, a friend and long-time resident of Japan who hails from Pauri Garhwal, Hoshi has bought 35 acres of land in Puducherry where he plans to build a large Shiva temple. He's also planning to open an ashram in Uttarakhand soon.
'I feel a deep connection to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand,' Hoshi says. 'I believe I lived here before and I'm still searching for my old village in the hills.'

The Tiger Conservation Plan (TCP) was submitted to the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) for final approval, with preparations in their concluding phases. Forest authorities indicate that the NTCA has not requested any amendments to the submitted plan. Upon approval, controlled tiger safaris will be permitted in the core zone, enhancing eco-tourism opportunities. "The plan was reviewed by NTCA's four-member committee and is expected to receive final clearance soon. The NTCA has not asked for any further modifications, and it is expected the plan will be approved shortly, allowing safari operations to commence in the core area of Ramgarh Vishdhari," stated a senior forest official. The TCP encompasses scientific wildlife management, enhanced monitoring systems, water resource management, conflict resolution, and species population tracking. According to an expert, approximately 20% of the reserve will be accessible for eco-tourism post-TCP implementation, creating employment prospects for local residents. The reserve spans 1,501.89 square kilometre, comprising a core area of 481.90 square kilometre and a buffer zone of 1,019.98 square kilometre. Currently, six tigers inhabit Ramgarh: two adult males, one adult female, one young male, and two cubs. Officials have proposed safari routes, with one path extending from the Peepkhoda entry gate in Naitpur to the core area. Additional routes will be established post-TCP implementation. "Four zones are likely to be established, with carrying capacity to be determined. Plans include relocating eight villages within the reserve post-approval." Bengaluru–Chennai expressway: Cars to pay Rs 185-190 one-way on Karnataka stretch
Bengaluru: Car and jeep users using the newly built Karnataka stretch of the Bengaluru–Chennai Expressway travelling from Hedigenabele (near Hoskote) to Sundarapalya (near KGF) will soon have to pay Rs 185 for a single journey and Rs 275 for a round trip. In the opposite direction — from Sundarapalya to Hedigenabele — the toll is slightly higher: Rs 190 for a single trip and Rs 280 for a round trip. This comes as the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) finalised toll charges for the 71km section connecting Hoskote and KGF (Bethamangala), which has been unofficially open to traffic for over seven months. Tolls will be charged based on distance, with four plazas located at Hedigenabele, Agrahara, Krishnarajapura, and Sundarapalya. Govt owes tourism contractors over Rs 39.7cr with bills from 2019
Panaji : From housekeeping services and painting to legal fees and translations, the tourism department has racked up Rs 39.7 crore in unpaid bills. Contractors for events, vehicles and executed projects have been fretting with their money lying locked up with the tourism department as well as the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), with some of the bills dating all the way back to 2019. Among those that the department owes money are govt entities such as Goa Human Resource Development Corporation Limited and Goa Electronics Limited. The tourism department's 17 outstanding bills are largely for tourism roadshows and trade fairs, and most are for the current year with just two bills dating back to Dec 2024. However, GTDC's track record of clearing bills of contractors and event management firms is not on par. The Goa Human Resource Development Corporation Ltd provided security services at GTDC residencies for 2019-20 for which it billed GTDC Rs 1.03 crore, an amount that remains unpaid, shows data released in the state legislative assembly. Invoices towards the organisation of the Manohar Parrikar Vidnyan Mahostav in Dec 2021 worth Rs 3.7 lakh also remain unpaid.
