Jaipur: The intelligence wing of the state police on Wednesday arrested a clerk from New Delhi, posted at the Naval office in the national capital, for allegedly leaking classified defence information to a Pakistani handler during sensitive operations, including the recently concluded Op Sindoor.
The accused, Vishal Yadav, a resident of Punsika village in Rewari, Haryana, was working as an upper division clerk at the directorate of dockyard in Nausena Bhawan. Intelligence officials said he was in constant contact with a female Pakistani handler operating under the alias 'Priya Sharma', with whom he interacted on various social media platforms.
Inspector general of police (security) Vishnukant Gupta said his activities came to light as the intelligence wing had been maintaining surveillance on suspected espionage activities of people, including Yadav, linked to Pakistani networks.
He was found to be leaking sensitive and strategically significant information related to Nausena Bhawan to his handler in exchange for money.
Yadav was jointly interrogated by various intelligence agencies at the central interrogation centre in Jaipur. Investigators discovered that he was addicted to online gaming and incurred substantial financial obligations.
To support his addiction and repay debts, he allegedly transmitted confidential documents to the Pakistani handler and received payments via cryptocurrency (USDT) and conventional banking channels.

Navy clerk arrested for leaking sensitive information to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor,(X/@IndiaWarMonitor) The accused, Vishal Yadav, a clerk at the Navy HQ and a resident of Haryana, was taken into custody by the intelligence wing of the Rajasthan police following months of surveillance, reported NDTV. "The CID Intelligence unit of Rajasthan was constantly monitoring the espionage activities carried out by Pakistani intelligence agencies(ISI). During surveillance, they zeroed in on Yadav, who was in constant contact with a female handler of a Pakistani intelligence agency through social media,' the NDTV report quoted senior police officer Vishnukant Gupta. Yadav had reportedly shared confidential information related to naval operations and other defence establishments with a woman who identified herself as Priya Sharma, who was believed to be an ISI operative. Police said she paid him in return for sensitive information. According to the report, forensic examination of his cellphone revealed years of communication and data transfer, including during Operation Sindoor – a military operation by Indian on terror hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Pakistan 'spy' was paid via crypto trades Initial findings suggest Yadav was addicted to online gaming and had incurred significant financial losses. 'He was receiving money via cryptocurrency trading accounts and also directly in his bank accounts,' the report quoted Gupta as saying. Multiple intelligence agencies are interrogating the accused at the Central Interrogation Centre in Jaipur. Officials are probing the extent of the breach and whether others may have been involved in the espionage network.

'Witch-hunt': Trump demands end to Netanyahu's corruption trial; 'Travesty of justice can't be allowed'

Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu (File photo) Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu's corruption trial should be cancelled, US President Donald Trump demanded on Wednesday, citing the Israeli prime minister's leadership during the recent conflict with Iran. In a long post on his Truth Social platform, Trump condemned Israel for continuing its "witch-hunt" against Netanyahu, its "great war time prime minister." "Bibi and I just went through HELL together, fighting a very tough and brilliant longtime enemy of Israel, Iran, and Bibi could not have been better, sharper, or stronger in his LOVE for the incredible Holy Land. Anybody else would have suffered losses, embarrassment, and chaos! Bibi Netanyahu was a WARRIOR, like perhaps no other Warrior in the History of Israel," the US president wrote. Trump Truth Social The result of the conflict, he noted, was a "complete elimination of potentially one of the biggest and most powerful nuclear weapons anywhere in the world." Trump added that despite this, Netanyahu has been summoned to appear in court in what the former alleged is a "politically motivated case." "Such a WITCH HUNT, for a man who has given so much, is unthinkable to me. Bibi Netanyahu's trial should be CANCELLED, IMMEDIATELY, or a Pardon given to a Great Hero. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với sàn môi giới tin cậy IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo It was the United States of America that saved Israel, and now it is going to be the United States of America that saves Bibi Netanyahu. In a first case, Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, are accused of accepting more than $260,000 worth of luxury goods such as cigars, jewelry and champagne from billionaires in exchange for political favours. Two other cases allege that ne attempted to negotiate more favourable coverage in two Israeli media outlets. Netanyahu has denied any wrongdoing.
