10 of the Most Gorgeous Strawberry Milk Nail Ideas for a Soft, Sweet Manicure
Manicures inspired by beverages always bring out the cutest, most creative designs, and the strawberry milk manicure is no exception.
Just like hot cocoa, lattes, or even an iced chai, this trend brings that soft, delicate vibe we crave for our nails. It's essentially a variation of the classic milky mani, but with a gentle, blush-toned twist that elevates your nails to a whole new level of chic.
Whether it's a creamy finish with a touch of pink or a barely-there blush, strawberry milk nails are all about effortless elegance. Plus, who can forget the viral blueberry milk nails trend that made waves across social media?
If you're looking to add a little sweet softness to your nails, here are 10 stunning strawberry milk nail ideas to inspire your next mani.
Strawberry Glazed Donut
Take your strawberry milk mani up a notch by adding a stunning chrome finish. The strawberry glazed donut effect is created with shifty aurora chrome powder, offering a jaw-dropping shine that's as sweet as it is stylish.
The Simple Life
Sometimes, less is more. A couple of coats of strawberry milk polish, sealed with a glossy topcoat, will give you an effortlessly elegant look. Opt for a short, oval shape to enhance the simplicity of the design.
Chrombré Strawberry Milk
Why settle for one shade when you can have two? Take your strawberry glazed donut nails to the next level with an ombré effect. Simply add a bubblegum pink tip to your strawberry milk base, and top it off with some chrome powder for a dreamy finish.
Keep It Glassy
For a more sophisticated take, this version leans a bit pinker, a bit sheerer, and a touch glossier than the usual. The result is a cool, refined finish that looks impossibly chic.
Ribbons and Bows
Looking for something a bit more playful? Add metallic ribbons and bows to your strawberry milk manicure for a fun twist that mixes sweetness with a bit of edge.
Making the Gradient
Can't decide on just one shade of strawberry milk? Wear them all! Create a glossy gradient with a blend of pink hues for a fun, colorful mani that's both sweet and vibrant.
The Milky Way
If you like your strawberry milk nails with a softer edge, this is the style for you. A blush pink base topped with a sheer white polish gives you the gentlest touch of sweetness.
I Can Hear the Bells
For a bridal-inspired take, swap out the tips with a pearlescent white for a modern French manicure twist. It's a look that's perfect for engagements, weddings, or just adding a touch of romance to your style.
The Standard-Bearer
This one could very well be the ideal strawberry milk manicure: sheer, creamy, and glossy, with just the right balance of pink. It's a classic that deserves a permanent spot in your mani rotation.
Meet Your Matcha
Combine the best of both worlds with this strawberry matcha-inspired look. Bubblegum pink butterflies and matcha green stars come together in a whimsical yet sophisticated pastel mani. It's a quirky yet perfect combo!

First ever Birkin bag heads to auction at Sotheby's
The value of the prototype has not been disclosed. Photo: AFP The first-ever Birkin bag that was designed by French luxury brand Hermes for actress Jane Birkin is set to be sold at auction in Paris, with the piece of modern fashion history likely to spark a bidding frenzy. The Birkin has become a modern design icon that is so exclusive that Hermes only offers it to loyal clients, with prices starting at around $10,000. Auction house Sotheby's, which is handling the sale of the Birkin prototype in Paris on July 10, declined to specify a reserve price publicly and its value is hard to forecast. "The Original Birkin holds the potential to redefine records," Morgane Halimi, Sotheby's global handbag and fashion head, said in a statement. The previous record sale price for a handbag at auction was set by a highly customised Birkin in Hong Kong in 2017. The diamond-encrusted crocodile-skin Birkin 30 with white gold details fetched $510,000 at Christie's. The seller of the original Birkin is well-known Paris-based handbag collector and dealer Catherine Benier whose appointment-only boutique in the high-end 6th district of the capital has a cult following. Benier told The New York Times that the bag was the "jewel in my collection". It has changed hands twice since being put up for sale by Birkin at an auction in 1994 where the proceeds went to an AIDS charity, Sotheby's said. The birth of the Birkin bag has become a modern fashion legend. During a Paris-London flight, the singer and actress — who died in 2023 — complained to a fellow traveller about not being able to find a bag suited to her needs as a young mother. That fellow passenger happened to be Jean-Louis Dumas, then head of Hermes. The result of their conversation was a spacious tote with room for baby bottles, created in 1984 and named the Birkin. It is engraved with the initials JB and has several unique features, Sotheby's said, including closed metal rings, a non-detachable shoulder strap and a built-in nail clipper. Its condition "reflects the many years of use by the actress and singer," Sotheby's said. The prototype Birkin will be exhibited at Sotheby's in New York from June 6 to 12 before being put on show in the French capital before the sale. In addition to the Birkin bag, the Sotheby's "Fashion Icons" sale will feature runway pieces from designers including Christian Dior, John Galliano, Thierry Mugler and Alexander McQueen. Bidding will open online on June 26 and close on July 10.

Novak Djokovic and Sinner chase French Open semis as underdogs look for upsets
PARIS: Big guns Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic both chase semi-final berths at the French Open on Wednesday, but the spotlight will be on home hope Lois Boisson in the women's tournament. French wildcard Boisson, ranked 361st in the world, steps up against Russian sixth seed Mirra Andreeva with a chance to write her own chapter in French tennis history. Handed a wildcard to enter the tournament, the 22-year-old kept home hopes alive by battling past US third seed Jessica Pegula to reach the last eight. 'Obviously, it's a dream to begin with. I hope to go further,' said the player from Dijon. 'This is my favourite surface. As soon as the clay season starts, this is when I feel best and when I feel happiest.' Second seed Coco Gauff will play seventh seed Madison Keys in an all-American quarter-final, looking to join world number one Aryna Sabalenka and three-time defending champion Iga Swiatek who are already through to the final four in the other half of the draw. Djokovic will compete in a record 19th French Open quarter-final against last year's runner-up Alexander Zverev. The German third seed will be well rested after his last-16 opponent Tallon Griekspoor retired on Monday with an abdominal injury while trailing 6-4, 3-0. Zverev, who lost to Carlos Alcaraz in last year's final, continues his latest bid for a maiden Grand Slam title after three runner-up finishes. 'For me, Carlos is the favourite. Then I would say the next three in line are Jannik, myself, and Novak, right? I still believe that,' said Zverev, who could meet world number one Sinner in the semi-finals. Zverev has made at least the last four at the past four French Opens and is into his seventh quarter-final. The 28-year-old has won five of his 13 career matches with Djokovic, including in Melbourne in January when the Serb retired injured from their semi-final. 'Pretty dominant' Djokovic, a three-time champion at Roland Garros, is just the second player to record 100 wins at the event after 14-time winner Rafael Nadal (112). 'It's a very pretty number, but 101 victories sounds better,' said 38-year-old Djokovic who has reached the quarter-finals at the clay-court major for a 16th consecutive year. Alcaraz tackles Shelton for spot in French Open quarters as Swiatek faces old foe 'I will continue to search for another victory, it's clearly not finished for me here. I'm very honoured to make history in this sport, which has given me everything in my life.' World number six Djokovic is chasing a record 25th major title and has a 100-16 record at Roland Garros. Italian Sinner takes on unseeded Kazakh Alexander Bublik, who hailed his emotional four-set win over fifth seed Jack Draper in the last 16 as the 'best moment of his life'. Sinner leads 62nd-ranked Bublik 3-1 in previous meetings. Both Sinner and Djokovic have not dropped a set so far. The Italian reached the semi-finals last year where he lost a five-set battle to Spaniard Alcaraz. Australian Open champion Keys plays Gauff against whom she has a 3-2 record winning their only meeting on clay in Madrid last year. Former US Open champion Gauff puts her success on the surface down to her unwavering belief that she can turn a match in her favour no matter the score. She is hoping to make it third time lucky at the French Open, after losing in the finals in Madrid and Rome last month. Gauff made her first Grand Slam final in Paris in 2022 at the age of just 18. 'I remember meeting Coco for the first time, and in my head she was, like, nine years old,' joked 30-year-old Keys, who won her maiden Grand Slam title in Melbourne in January. 'And just kind of watching her play, I knew that she was going to be someone that was going to be pretty dominant pretty quickly.'
