Northwest Houston: Three shot, one killed in apartment complex courtyard, police say

The shooting was reported at about 2 p.m. Saturday on Willow Place Drive.
One male has been pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other males were shot and have been sent to hospitals.

HOUSTON - Three people have been shot, and one of them has died after an altercation at a northwest Houston apartment complex, according to police.
What we know
The shooting was reported shortly after 2 p.m. in the courtyard at the Willow Green apartment complex on Willow Place Drive.
When police arrived at the scene, there was one male on the ground who was later pronounced deceased. According to Sgt. Blake Roberts with the HPD Homicide Division, the deceased male is believed to be Hispanic and in his late teens to early 20s.
Police later learned that two other males had been shot and were taken to a hospital. One of them is said to be in stable condition.
Many people have been detained for questioning, according to Sgt. Roberts. At this time, police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this shooting.
Police believe there was an exchange of gunfire between two parties, but detectives are still investigating. Sgt. Roberts said they'll be speaking to witnesses and searching for any security camera footage.
What we don't know
No one involved in this incident has been identified.
There is no information on the condition of the third person who was shot, nor the motive behind the shooting.

Grisly discovery in bushland
A woman's body was been found in bushland in western Sydney on Sunday after a passer-by made the grisly discovery. Police were called to reserve off Irwin Street at Werrington just after 1pm. The woman has yet to be identified, but is believed to be middle aged. Specialist police are on the scene and her cause of death has yet to be determined. 'The area of the reserve in question is quite isolated, it appears the body has been there for a period of time,' Detective Superintendent Trent King said. Children 6 and 9 kidnapped by woman and man in Queens
OZONE PARK, Queens (PIX11) — Police are on the hunt after two girls, 6-years-old and 9-years-old, were kidnapped by a woman and man in Queens on Saturday, according to authorities.
