Bikini waxer exposes mistakes that clients make before appointments & habit that leaves her airing out the room

A BIKINI waxer has revealed the revolting mistakes clients make before their appointments, including a habit that leaves her needing to air out the room.
Rachel Johnson is now urging women who choose to get these treatments to make more of an effort before attending their appointments.

The beautician, known as ' turboweezy ' on TikTok, shared a video discussing the common issues she encounters when waxing her clients.
She began by explaining that women may unknowingly be wiping incorrectly, which can result in stool being transferred due to not properly cleaning their private areas.
Women are generally taught to wipe front to back to prevent this, but Rachel claims that not everyone seems to follow this advice.
She says this is the most common issue she encounters, noting that it not only creates a foul-smelling experience but also increases the risk of a urinary tract infection (UTI).
A urinary tract infection is an infection in any part of the urinary system, which includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra.
Rachel also mentions that some clients leave traces of toilet paper behind, which adds to the problem.
She adds that if you are ' sexually active ' with your partner before your appointment, 'chances are high that we know.'
Rachel explained that clients often tense up during the procedure, which can cause bodily fluids to be released. She urges people to be 'mindful' when preparing for these services.
She says: 'Some women don't realise this because, honestly, wiping back to front is easier, but it's not the correct way.'
Rachel also advises customers to shower before their waxing appointments, as failing to do so can result in what she calls ' sit-down air, ' where an unpleasant smell is carried upwards due to a draft.
She shared an anecdote, saying: 'There was a time I thought a client had a tampon in, which is totally fine, I went to move the string to get one side and it's toilet paper that has been wadded up so far that it looked like a tampon string.'
Rachel also isn't a fan of girls who come to their appointment straight after the gym, due to how 'sweaty' it is down there.
She also advises to exfoliate in the shower, as well as use a washcloth or a silicone loofah to get in between every area of your body.

Her video, which was shared on 2 April, has gone viral gaining 39.2million views and 67.4K comments.
One wrote: 'You're so professional with this, thanks to you I realise I have good hygiene.'
A second added: 'Girl, this was delivered with so much love and information.
'I don't think it came off bad at all. It came off as big sister energy.
'I was worried at first but your delivery was great.'
And a third said: "I would never EVER go to a wax appointment without showering omg.'
How to prepare for a bikini wax
IF you're thinking of booking a bikini wax, here's how you can prepare.
Choose the Right Time: Schedule your appointment at least a week after your menstrual cycle when your pain threshold is higher.
Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate the bikini area a day or two before your wax to remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs.
Trim Hair: Ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long; if it's longer, trim it down for a smoother waxing process.
Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol: Steer clear of caffeine and alcohol on the day of your appointment as they can tighten pores and increase sensitivity.
Take a Pain Reliever: Consider taking an over-the-counter pain reliever about 30 minutes before your appointment to help minimise discomfort.
Wear Loose Clothing: Opt for loose-fitting clothes on the day of your waxing to avoid irritation post-treatment.
Communicate with Your Aesthetician: Don't hesitate to discuss any concerns or questions with your aesthetician before the session begins.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated and more supple.

Jenny Powell puts on a busty display in skimpy zig-zag bikini as she reveals shocking indecent proposal from beach worker in Miami

Jenny Powell looked sensational as she soaked up the sun in Miami on Saturday - but her day took an unexpected turn when a beach worker made a shock proposal. The TV presenter, 57, showed off her incredible figure in a skimpy zig-zag bikini as she shared a video with fans revealing the inappropriate comment made to her while she was hiring a sun lounger. Speaking to her Instagram followers in the clip, Jenny said she was just hours away from flying back to the UK after interviewing Gloria Estefan, but not before enjoying some last-minute sunshine. She told fans: 'So about three hours left till my car picks me up to take me back to the UK after interviewing Gloria Estefan, um happy days. 'In the meantime, getting the rays. Good news is, a brolly and a lounger just for a few hours is about $25 dollars as opposed to about 150 in Ibiza. So, that's good news.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newslette r to stay in the loop. She then revealed the shocking comment, adding: 'On the flip side, the guy who sorts out all the loungers and the brolly's here on the beach told me his wife's left him and that he's very virile and he fancied his chances. 'So, I've sent him on his way. Don't worry. And yeah, happy weekend everyone. You've gotta laugh, haven't you?' She comically captioned the bikini-clad clip: 'Bet you can relate ladies ! And well, God loves a trier (laughing emojis) Happy weekend .. see you in the other side !' It comes after Jenny flaunted her incredible figure in a green bikini last month, as she proudly showed off her surgery scars while wild swimming. The TV personality took to her Instagram Story to share a sizzling snap where she made the most of the heatwave by taking a dip in a pond. She looked nothing short of sensational as she displayed her extremely toned figure and washboard abs in the halterneck bikini set. Jenny wore her long brunette tresses in a voluminous bun to keep her hair out of the water and opted for a glowing palette of makeup to elevate her natural beauty. She seemed to be on cloud nine as she flashed a smile while dipping her feet into the water, captioning the post: 'Days like these #wildswimming uk scars 'n' all.' Jenny underwent a robotic hysterectomy last year to manage extreme symptoms as a result of the menopause. She has been open about her health battle and has often displayed her scars from the gruelling surgery as a way of raising awareness. In March, she displayed her incredible abs in a bikini as she proudly showed off her scars four months after having surgery. She looked sensational as she took to Instagram to share a collection of snaps, including bikini pictures from a trip to Hotel Les Deux Tours in Marrakech. Jenny wowed in a green and white tie-dye style triangle bikini, while in another mirror selfie, she sported a multicoloured striped skimpy two-piece. She captioned the snaps: 'Pain heals, chicks dig scars, glory last forever. Thank you Shane Falco for these words… I'm living them! 'In the past week alone from hosting for amazing charities @athletic_minds_foundation @foundation92 @mftcharity to sharing my weekends as always on the radio @greatesthitsuk to rebooting @hotel_les_deux_tours. 'The balance is key and the energy is real .. shine on my lovelies. We all have scars inside and out .. it's the healing process that matters.' Just five months ago, Jenny underwent the hysterectomy and explained that the last two years have been the most difficult for her. She told OK!: 'Even though I tried to send out all these positive, smiley, "everything's lovely" vibes, I was suffering. 'I had terrible bleeding, really bad, to the point where I was changing four times a day and in a job like mine, that isn't good.' Jenny thinks that women's health is 'neglected' and that the concept of 'just getting used' to struggling is something that frustrates her. The Greatest Hits Radio host had been on a family holiday in her bikini last year when some paparazzi pictures of herself started doing the rounds in the media. When she saw the images, Jenny noticed a 'bump in [her] lower abdomen' which caused concern and she underwent an MRI. The scan revealed that her abdomen was as if she 'was about 16 weeks pregnant' with the amount of pressure it was under, and she felt compelled to share her story. She added: 'It was so big it was pressing on my intestines, on my bladder, on my kidneys. 'It's only looking back – now that it's gone – that I think, "Wow." And that's why I put it all out there.' In the images shared, Jenny posed in shorts as she gave a full view of the extent of her scars. The images had been taken over the course of a four-week time span, and the scarring became more dramatic as the days went on. Soon after undergoing the operation in early October, Jenny explained: 'I've suffered for so long with all sorts of symptoms and tried all sorts, but yeah it's time, so hence the hysterectomy. 'Because I'm menopausal of course things are different it's not like this is been brought on early. 'But I'm just wondering if they'll be any connection between it and my emotions. So it will be interesting. I'm just about to put my fancy gown on so come back later.' Jenny previously revealed she was forced into hospital after severe menopause symptoms left her struggling to 'get out of bed every day'. What is a hysterectomy? A hysterectomy is a surgical procedure to remove a woman's uterus. There are three kinds: PARTIAL HYSTERECTOMY: Removes two-thirds of the uterus. TOTAL HYSTERECTOMY: Removes uterus and cervix. RADICAL HYSTERECTOMY: Removes uterus, cervix and ovaries. The operation is most commonly performed on women between the ages of 40 and 49. More than 20 million American women have had a hysterectomy, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As women approach menopause, the odds that they will develop one of several serious uterine health conditions increases. Doctors may recommend a hysterectomy as a treatment for: fibroids endometriosis uterine (endometrial) cancer chronic uterine pain or bleeding collapsed uterus In some cases, doctors may suggest a hysterectomy as a preventative measure if a woman has significant warning or early signs of developing one or more of these conditions. When necessary, surgeons may also remove the ovaries and fallopian tubes, if these have also been damaged or are at serious risk of damage. The removal of reproductive organs sends a woman's body into menopause, no matter how old she is. This comes with unpleasant side effects like hot flashes, and many women have to start hormone therapy, taking oestrogen to balance out their own hormones.

Parents are being warned about a new dangerous craze 'chroming' that is claiming the lives of children

Parents are being warned about a new dangerous craze 'chroming' that is claiming the lives of children It has already caused the death of a child in UK and parents are being warned of the dangers The dangerous trend has led to the loss off life of young people across the world (Image: PA ) A Welsh school has warned parents about the dangers of new online craze that has been targeting teens called Chroming. But what does it mean exactly? Safer Schools, a safeguarding initiative says that chroming refers to act where a person inhales chemicals like aerosols, nitrous oxide, solvents, and nitrites. While doing this might result in a temporary 'high', it can also lead to deadly consequences like heart and lung damage. These substances can also cause harm to a person's brain, and behavioural development. ‌ Although the abuse of these chemicals in such a way is not new, the way the trend is spreading among teens over social media is what raised concern. ‌ What has been the impact of this trend? The trend has already resulted in loss of life among teenagers across the world, including one in the UK when a 11-year-old-boy in Lancashire died after following the trend. For our free daily briefing on the biggest issues facing the nation, sign up to the Wales Matters newsletter here On November 8, 2023, UK government had updated its laws classifying nitrous oxide as a Class C drug entailing criminal penalties for those abuse it. Still, as the chemicals that are misused in chroming are widely available is common household items like glue, permanent markers, and deodorant cans, it is harder to regulate. Article continues below Why are young people using it? Safer Schools states that children and young people might be enticed to engage in this craze due to its feeling (intoxication), thrill seeking, media influence, or peer pressure. How are young people using it? There are several ways in which people use to inhale the chemicals while chroming, which also makes it challenging to control dosage significantly increasing the risk. Spraying – This involves spraying the contents of an aerosol container directly into the mouth or nose. Bagging – This method entails spraying the contents of an aerosol container into a paper or plastic bag, which is then held over the person's mouth or nose for inhalation. Sniffing – This involves inhaling the fumes directly from the container. Huffing – This method involves soaking a rag with the inhalant and holding it to the face for inhalation ‌ What does the school's warning say? In a letter addressed to parents and carers, Coleg Cymunedol Y Dderwen, in Bridgend, has said: 'We are reaching out to raise urgent awareness about a disturbing trend currently circulating among teenagers on social media, particularly TikTok, known as 'chroming." 'This emerging craze has already led to serious health consequences for some young people and in some tragic cases, loss of life. We believe it's vital for parents and carers of secondary school students to be fully informed.' It adds: 'It is particularly dangerous because it can be done relatively quickly using products that are easily accessible in most homes. Article continues below 'Young people may not fully understand the severity of the risks, especially when they see others engaging in the activity online without apparent consequences.' The school also said that it strongly encourages cares to speak directly to their ward about the issue and help them make safe and informed decisions.

Young people urged to stop exploring abandoned buildings as part of 'dangerous' TikTok trend

A social media challenge is 'putting lives at risk', according to the police. The trend, known as 'Urban Ex', involves TikTok users sharing videos of themselves venturing into historic structures. However, entering these buildings can be dangerous, with concerns that young people are taking risks to chase popularity and views online. In Jersey, groups have filmed inside the derelict St Saviour's Hospital, the War Tunnels, and on top of Fort Regent. Chief Inspector Craig Jackson from the States of Jersey Police said: "The buildings can be structurally unsafe and full of hazards that put the lives of those entering them at risk, not to mention those of the emergency services who will be called if they get into trouble." The island's Infrastructure Minister, Connétable Andy Jehan, fears that young people could get seriously injured by exploring these places unsupervised and without safety equipment. He said: "We're really concerned that some of them may get themselves hurt. "We can see that more and more youngsters seem to be doing this and show their friends what they're doing, often in dangerous places where we've got buildings that are closed. "They're closed for a reason and we would urge people to adhere to that notice." The minister added that these buildings can include dangers such as fall hazards and asbestos. ITV News spoke to some of the TikTok users creating and sharing these videos. They argue that their content should be celebrated as they offer a snapshot of locations that would otherwise be undocumented. The minister admitted that what the social media users are doing is not illegal in Jersey as the island has no trespass law. However, he added: "There's a reason people enter these places with a hard hat and boots and we'd urge people to err on the side of caution. "We've all been young and we've all done things we wish we probably hadn't done. What we're saying is that now we know far more perhaps than we did when I was a youth, it's not safe. Therefore, I would urge people not to do it. "There are plenty of things that young people and old people alike can do around the island to get an adrenaline kick. "Going into old building sites is not one of them."
