‘Ginny & Georgia' Season 3 Sets Summer Premiere Date, First Look Photos
Pick your peaches in the summer! Season 3 of 'Ginny & Georgia' will premiere on June 5, Netflix just announced.
The drama, which follows mother-daughter duo Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia (Brianne Howey) as they navigate life together, will pick up shortly after the Season 2 finale. Per Netflix, 'Georgia has just been arrested for murder during her wedding — ruining her fairy tale ending and putting the spotlight on the Millers like never before. It's always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this. Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove – is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?'

Created by Sarah Lampert and showrun by Sarah Glinski (who replaces Debra J. Fisher), the series stars Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Katie Douglas, Chelsea Clark and Nathan Mitchell.
Season 3 will include new cast members Ty Doran, as a guy in Ginny's poetry class who doesn't like poetry, and Noah Lamanna as Tris, a very smart skateboarder who is a close friend of Marcus (Mallard) and Silver (Katelyn Wells).
Season 2 broke boundaries for a YA show, diving headfirst into the mental health struggles of its characters, showing the teens battling with depression, turning to eating disorders and even self-harm.
'We're not a teen issue of the week show. We don't move on to the next problem. We really wanted to tell these stories over the course of several seasons,' Fisher told Variety in 2023. 'It was always about the long game, and just being able to approach mental health, self-harm and depression in a really realistic, grounded way that we hope really resonates with the kids.'
'Ginny & Georgia' has been a success for Netflix since its debut in 2021; Season 2, dropped in 2023 spent nearly two months in the global top 10 rankings in 88 countries. The show has already been renewed for Season 4.

Jamie Foxx seemingly alluded to the Trump administration during his acceptance speech at the 2025 BET Awards. While being honored as an Ultimate Icon at the ceremony, the Oscar winner appeared to deliver a cryptic message in his acceptance speech. 'To have this moment and not say that we're being challenged [as Black people] … we're being challenged,' he told the crowd at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Monday evening. Claiming that 'it wasn't about the price of eggs,' Foxx continued, 'We're being challenged, that's all… I don't want to say anything [else].' He added: 'I don't want to get into it.' Earlier this year, President Donald Trump was criticized for falsely claiming that egg prices are decreasing. In his 2024 campaign, Trump promised voters that he would lower the price of groceries on Day 1 of his presidency. In a Gallup poll, voters said that the economy was the most important issue that could influence their votes. Earlier in his speech, Foxx appeared emotional while expressing gratitude for surviving his medical emergency in April 2023. Foxx later revealed during his Netflix comedy special, 'What Had Happened Was,' that he underwent surgery after suffering a brain bleed that led to a stroke. 'When I saw the In Memoriam, I was like, 'Man that could've been me,'' he said of the posthumous tribute segment that aired before his speech. 'But I don't know why I went through what I went through. But I know my second chance I'm not going to turn down.' Two years out from his stroke and subsequent coma, Jamie Foxx emotionally thanked his sister and daughters for getting him through the dark period. Daughters Corinne Foxx, 31, and Anelise Bishop, 16, — like their dad — were in tears as they were seated in the 2025 BET Awards crowd. Anelise's chin trembled as she looked up at her dad on stage, who accepted one of the night's Ultimate Icon Awards. "When I saw that in memoriam, I was like, 'Man, that could've been me.' But I don't know why I went through what I went through, but I know that my second chance, I'm not going to turn it down," said Foxx, 57. He went on to thank sister Deidre Dixon, a Hollywood hair and makeup artist, because she "made sure that she took care of her brother" in spring 2023. "When I was fighting for my life in there, I've got to say this. They said, 'We're going to lose him because his vitals are bad.' And I didn't want my 14 year old to see me like that. But Anelise overheard the conversation and she snuck into my hospital room with her guitar and said, 'I know what my Daddy needs,'" he continued. Foxx recounted, "And as she played the guitar, my vitals (improved). And I realized God was in her guitar. The nurses ran in and said, 'What did they give him?' Moments after he'd asked for an aspirin, he lost consciousness — and now doesn't remember the ensuing 20 days. Then a follow-up appointment with a doctor revealed Foxx had experienced a stroke caused by a brain bleed. The exact cause of the stroke was not determined. Jamie Foxx opens up about daughter Corinne's ‘special' role in his recovery after life-threatening health scare
'I said one day I was gonna stop crying,' Jamie Foxx says, reflecting on his daughter Corinne's support during his 2023 health scare. Jamie Foxx has made a career out of making people laugh—but on May 29, standing next to his daughter Corinne Foxx, he let his tears do the talking. During Netflix's FYSEE LA event, the 57-year-old entertainer showed a side of himself that fans rarely get to see: a father overwhelmed with gratitude and emotion after surviving a terrifying health crisis. Speaking with Corinne, 31, in a Q&A session, Foxx gave attendees an unfiltered glimpse into how close he came to death, and how the love of his daughter helped him find his way back. 'I said one day I was gonna stop crying,' he said to his daughter, per People magazine. 'But I got a feeling I'll never stop crying, because you were special.' In April 2023, Foxx suffered a brain bleed that led to a life-threatening stroke while filming 'Back in Action.' He spent 20 days unconscious, waking up in a hospital wheelchair with no memory of what had happened. What he did remember, though, was who had stayed by his side. Foxx dives deeper into his medical journey in his new Netflix comedy special, 'Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was.' 'Your life doesn't flash before your face. It was kind of oddly peaceful,' Foxx shares in the special. 'I saw the tunnel. I didn't see the light. I was in that tunnel, though. It was hot in that tunnel. S***, am I going to the wrong place in this motherf****? Because I looked at the end of the tunnel, and I thought I saw the devil, like, 'Come on.' ' And while Foxx was cracking jokes on stage, he also made sure to give love to the team of health care professionals at Atlanta's Piedmont Hospital. He remembers one nurse calling him 'a miracle,' telling him that 'less than 3% of people that come in with what you had leave here. We usually put 'em in a box. But when I saw that it was you, I rolled my sleeves up – That's Jamie Fox in there.'' In the midst of recovery, humor helped. But family healed, especially Corinne, who he says 'held him down.' Now, with his health restored, Foxx says he's more focused on the future than the past. 'I'm just glad God gave me the opportunity to get back,' he told his daughter. 'So I could see what you're going to do because you're going to shock the world.'
