'Team Blake assemble': This Ends With Us star, 37, arrives for deposition hearing with husband Ryan Reynolds and EIGHT lawyers - but is there any sign of her 'bestie' Taylor Swift?

Blake Lively arrived for her deposition in New York yesterday with the full 'Team Blake' – her sister and best friend Robyn, husband Ryan Reynolds and EIGHT lawyers.
The actress, who is 37, gave evidence under oath as she prepares for a legal showdown with one-time co-star Justin Baldoni, who she says sexually harassed her while they were making the film This Ends With Us. She also claims that his PR team then smeared her online.
There was no sign of one-time bestie Taylor Swift and it's thought that the two women have not spoken in months, with Swift appalled at being dragged into the legal mess and angry over being asked to surrender text messages with Blake.
They were very close with the pop star confirmed as godmother to three of her four children, and Swift was referred to in a message to Baldoni as one of her 'dragons'. In the message she said that Swift and her husband Reynolds could help her to steer the creative direction of the movie.
A source close to the deposition says that her older half sister Robyn, and actress, and Deadpool husband Ryan Reynolds were with her when she came into the building.
They were not with her in the room when she gave evidence over the course of a long day.
She wore black jeans, a black waistcoat and a pale blue fluffy cardigan for the examination, by Baldoni's feared lawyer Bryan Freedman.
Witnesses in the building say Blake 'cut a confident figure' as she entered the offices of her lawyers, Wilkie Farr Gallagher in the AXA building on 7th Avenue.

Baldoni, his business partner Jamie Heath and others were shut away with Blake and her legal team all day as she gave her own account of events which led up to her filing a lawsuit against Baldoni in December last year.
The mother-of-four had claimed Baldoni, 41, was able to nuzzle her neck and comment on the way she smelled without anyone else on set hearing because their microphones were switched off.
But footage which later emerged seemed to prove the opposite: not only were the microphones on, but the pair had spent most of the scene happily chatting about their respective spouses.
Lively's claims Baldoni orchestrated a negative media campaign against her have also been called into question thanks to her reliance on what his team have described as 'doctored' texts.

Documents filed by Baldoni claim that the texts between his publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel, had been edited to remove context and were incomplete.
Earlier this year a New York judge tossed the actress's emotional distress claim after she refused to release her medical records to Baldoni's team.
However last month Lively claimed total 'vindication' after the judge sensationally tossed almost all of Justin Baldoni's $400m countersuit against the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds.
There will be further depositions before the case comes to trial in March next year.
Lively's lawyers have subpoenaed 107 content creators who have circulated negative stories about her in what they say was a co-ordinated campaign. The creators say that the content arose organically due to Lively's behaviour on the press tour for the film, and behaviour on previous publicity tours which had given her a reputation for 'mean girl' behaviour.

Black couple plunged into violent racist nightmare after car accident on rural country road

A black married couple was allegedly threatened and chased by racist assailants down a rural Virginia road - resulting in a traumatizing car wreck. Amylah Majors, 23, and Jamaria Gaskins, 24, said they were viciously attacked and terrorized with a firearm on the evening of July 20 while traveling through Spotsylvania County. The wives were headed to Gaskins's mother's house when they pulled over to check out their car after running over debris and hearing a loud noise. A man spotted them and immediately came out of his home. He flashed them a 'thumbs up,' so the women thought he was going to help them with their car troubles. But instead of the assistance they were expecting, Majors and Gaksins were allegedly bombarded with racial slurs and violence. 'We were chased, threatened with firearms, and called racial slurs by three white individuals who acted as if they were part of a white supremacist group,' Majors wrote in a GoFundMe post. 'Two of them physically attacked my wife while brandishing a gun and shouting threats.' They were allegedly targeted by Mark Goodman, 59, and Elizabeth Wolfrey, 32, who both face charges regarding the horrifying attack. The third man has not been named because he was not charged, Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office Maj. Delbert Myrick told the Fredricksburg Free Press. Pictures from the ordeal showed Wolfrey sinisterly grinning as she waved a gun in the air. Goodman was captured pulling down his pants and showing his backside to Majors and Gaskins. Majors wrote the racist trio called her and her wife the 'n-word' and told them they 'didn't belong there.' As the culprits taunted and berated the couple, Gaskins was on the phone with the police. The situation escalated when Majors and Gaskins tried to flee the scene for safety. When they went to drive away, the tormenters allegedly started trailing them. 'One of them rode up beside us on a 4-wheeler and aimed a gun directly at my head through the driver's window,' Majors wrote. 'In that moment, we truly believed we weren't going to make it out alive.' In the midst of all the chaos, the women were 'chased into a crash' after Wolfrey allegedly flashed her gun at them again. Majors was ejected from their car. A shocking picture of the crashed vehicle showed the car completely totaled with its airbags deployed. Majors sustained severe injuries. According to her chilling retelling of the incident, she woke up in the hospital with a fractured spine and head injuries, as well as a broken clavicle and rib. She shared a photo of herself with bruising all over her face and swelling around her eye sockets from the impact of the crash. While Gaskins's injuries were less severe, both women are still suffering from concussions, according to the Fredricksburg Free Press. 'And yet - we're not paralyzed. We're not dead. That's nothing but God,' Majors wrote on the fundraiser page, which has already raised more than $1,735. 'This was not just an accident - this was an attempted act of violence meant to harm and silence us. 'This was hate. Targeted. Deliberate. And deadly. I'm not sharing this for sympathy - I'm sharing it because silence protects the people who did this.' Myrick told the outlet Wolfrey is charged with one count of pointing and brandishing a firearm and Goodman is charged with indecent exposure. There is an ongoing investigation to determine if more charges, such as hate crime, are going to be filed. 'The big thing we're trying to express is we understand the community's outrage, or concerns or anxiety over this incident and similar incidents that have arisen in the community,' Myrick said. 'We don't want racism. We don't want hate in our community. We want a happy community where everybody gets along.' Investigators reviewed footage that appears to be connected to the ordeal, according to a social media statement from the sheriff's office. This video allegedly captured the suspects using 'racially insensitive language and behavior' towards the victims. Sheriff Roger L. Harris said: 'On July 20, 2025, deputies from the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported dispute involving a firearm in the 4300 block of Partlow Road. 'During the course of the incident, a related motor vehicle crash also occurred. 'Deputies conducted a preliminary investigation at the scene, which resulted in two individuals being charged with Brandishing a Firearm and Indecent Exposure. 'The case remains active and is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division. Moe Petway, president of the Spotsylvania NAACP, said the organization is monitoring the investigation and is pushing for the couple to get the justice they deserve.' Wolfrey and Goodman are set for arraignment on September 20.

Meghan Markle's As Ever brand posts gushing birthday tribute to praise 'the woman behind it all'

Meghan Markle 's As Ever brand has posted a gushing birthday tribute as the entrepreneur turns 44 years old. The Duchess' own lifestyle company took to Instagram with a black and white snapshot of the mom-of-two wearing a sundress and hat as she beamed into the distance. The caption enthused about Meghan and her role leading the company. 'Celebrating the woman behind it all,' it read. 'She pours her heart, vision and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder.' It was then re-shared on As Ever's Instagram Story alongside two champagne flutes clinking together in celebration. Meghan launched her lifestyle brand earlier this year, releasing the first products in April, which included a range of teas, a raspberry spread, and a limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb, amongst other things. She followed it up with an apricot spread and another honey, and in July, she expanded into the world of alcohol when she dropped her own wine - the 2023 Napa Valley Rosé. Each release has been met with fierce excitement from her fans, and every product has sold out pretty quickly. And her birthday comes just days after she announced another product coming to her As Ever line. Last week, the company revealed that following the buzz surrounding the 2023 Napa Valley Rosé, it will be launching another wine, with a slight tweak... calling it the 2024 Napa Valley Rosé. It vowed that it will pretty much taste the same as As Ever's first wine. 'It marries the same harmony of notes from our first blend and creates an elegant medley of delicate yet memorable flavor,' read a press release. 'You'll want to clink glasses with friends as the sun sets, toasting to a summer of joy. 'Barefoot or in sandals, dressed up or dressed down, this rosé may become your favorite accessory for alfresco lunches and dinners at dusk.' In the release, As Ever listed some of the positive feedback customers had given the company over its first rosé, which included comments like, '10 out of 10,' 'perfect,' and 'elevated flavor.' Meghan launched her lifestyle brand earlier this year, releasing the first products in April, which included a range of teas, a raspberry spread, and a limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb, amongst other things 'This affirmed all of the love, time and effort our team, and our founder, poured into curating this blend to evoke the sun drenched spirit of Napa Valley, and the breathtaking tenor of the California Coast,' As Ever added. 'Thank you for filling our cup. Now it's time for us to fill your glass! We are pleased to share that our 2024 Napa Valley Rosé will be available for purchase next week.' Last month, Daily Mail exclusively revealed that the alcoholic beverage is made by Fairwinds Estate, a California winery that creates bespoke wines for celebrities. The 2023 Napa Valley Rosé is described on the bottle as a 'delicately balanced rosé with soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish.' It has a 14.5 percent alcohol by volume for the 750ML bottle. The Daily Mail FEMAIL team tried the rosé and while the wine was smooth, we couldn't easily detect the notes of stone fruit. In fact, it tasted quite bland, and almost water-y. In addition, the rosé had some acidic notes, leaving a somewhat uncomfortable sensation at the back of our throats after swallowing. In the end, the verdict was the wine lacked flavor and tasted affordable and ordinary. It wasn't terrible - but it certainly wasn't great.
