Doral Academy hired Renatto Soriano as its new boys' soccer coach.
He replaces retiring Pam McDonald, who stepped down after a tremendous tenure with the Firebirds. During that time, she became the first female coach in state history to lead a boys' soccer team to a state title when Doral won state in 2021. She led the Firebirds to a second state title in 2022. As for Soriano, he has more than 15 years of coaching experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge and success to Doral Academy. He also holds a USFF Academy Director License, a USSF 'A' License and is a candidate of Class 6 of the MLS Elite Formation Coaching License (EFCL).
According to a Doral Academy press release, Soriano is eager to implement his coaching education and methodology, championship-winning experience and dynamic game plan to the Doral Academy soccer program. Three Big Ten football uniforms have been named "perfect" with 10/10 rankings heading into the 2025 college football regular season. The 2025 college football regular season is right around the corner. Games are set to begin later in August. The first big-time matchup is set for Saturday, Aug. 30, when Ohio State takes on Texas in a potential No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown at The Horseshoe in Columbus. There's a lot to love about college football, with the games being No. 1, obviously, but the uniforms - and pageantry - are not far behind. Which Big Ten football uniforms are the best, though? One NBC analyst has labeled three uniforms 10/10 heading into the 2025 season. An NBC analyst has labeled three Big Ten football uniforms "perfect" heading into the 2025 season. There's one big surprise. Minnesota Yes, the Golden Gophers - not what you would think of when you think of iconic Big Ten uniforms - were given a perfect 10/10 rating by the NBC football analyst. "Maroon and gold, underrated combination," he said. Former Ohio State football star Joshua Perry didn't really agree, though. He called it "aggressive" and we'd have to agree. Oregon The Ducks are synonymous with great college football uniforms, so it's no surprise that their throwback green and yellow uniform gets a 10/10 rating from the NBC analyst. Still, not everyone loves them, as they can be a bit much in the eyes of some fans. "No matter what combination, this is a 10/10," he said of Oregon's uniforms. USC Most would probably think that Ohio State or Michigan would get the final 10/10 spot here, given their history, but instead, it goes to the Trojans. It's an iconic college football uniform, to be sure. The colors pop on TV, especially when they are playing their rival, UCLA. Rangers' Adolis Garcia makes jaw-dropping barehanded catch

Adolis Garcia might've made the catch of the year. With one out in the top of the second inning and the Rangers leading 2–0, Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos — who tends to find himself in the middle of big moments — slapped a shallow fly ball into right field. Garcia charged in at full speed, attempting a basket catch below his beltline. 3 Adolis García juggles and then catches a fly ball off the bat of Nick Castellanos of the Phillies during the second inning at Globe Life Field on August 10, 2025 in Arlington, Texas. Getty Images The ball bounced off his glove, ricocheted off his leg, and appeared destined to drop, which would've been bad news for the Rangers. However, Garcia, maintaining his focus, reached out with his bare left hand and miraculously secured the ball before it hit the ground. It was an unbelievable, immediate 'catch of the year' candidate. The catch proved to be a big one in terms of maintaining the Rangers' lead, but the Phillies went on to win the contest 4-2, continuing to build their National League East division lead over the slumping Mets. Garcia and the Rangers dropped to 60-59 on the season. This season, the two-time All-Star and former Gold Glove winner has a .661 OPS and is struggling individually. Garcia, however, is still packing some pop. 3 Adolis Garcia won a Gold Glove for his play in the outfield during the 2023 season, and he also is a two-time All-Star, playing in the game in both 2021 and 2023, respectively. Getty Images 3 Rangers right fielder Adolis Garcia holds up the ball for the umpire Manny Gonzalez, right, after making a sliding catch on a fly out by Philadelphia Phillies' Nick Castellanos as Rowdy Tellez (44) looks on in the second inning AP The 32-year-old Cuban has 16 home runs and 63 RBIs this season and has 96 hits on the year. Garcia also has 23 doubles.

2025 Wisconsin Football Predictions: Badgers Ranked 51st in RJ Young's Ultimate 136

College Football 2025 Wisconsin Football Predictions: Badgers Ranked 51st in RJ Young's Ultimate 136 Published Aug. 10, 2025 10:26 p.m. ET share facebook x reddit link This isn't your average college football ranking. My Ultimate 136 is a set of rankings that is fluid, but it's my job to look ahead and make a claim for all FBS teams based on what I know and why I know it. Here are the three pressing questions I started by asking when putting together this list: Who do I think is good? Why do I think they're good? What are the chances they will finish above or below my expectations? Here is a look at where Wisconsin lands in my Ultimate 136. Wisconsin ranking: 51 Last year's ranking: 27 Top player: CB Ricardo Hallman: Was targeted 33 times in 319 coverage snaps last season and allowed just 20 catches, the second-fewest in the Big Ten among cornerbacks with 300-plus coverage snaps; was an AP Third-Team All-American in 2023. [Wisconsin's 2025 schedule] RJ's take: Stop me if you've heard this one before: Wisconsin is best when it runs the ball. Since the final game of the 2022 season, the Badgers are 12-0 when they rush for 150-plus yards. So, after the Badgers rushed for their fewest yards in a full season since the turn of the 20th century, it's easy to see why Phil Longo was no longer fit to call the offense. ADVERTISEMENT Making matters worse in 2024 was the 20.8 points per game the team averaged, which was its lowest in a full season since 2004. Now, Jeff Grimes takes over as offensive coordinator after overseeing a Kansas offense that ranked in the top 15 in rushing and produced a 1,000-yard rusher in Devin Neal. He had better get it sorted out fast with games at Alabama, vs. Iowa, at Michigan, at Oregon, vs. Ohio State and at Indiana this season. [Check out RJ Young's Ultimate 136 College Football Rankings here] Wisconsin Win Total Odds: Over 5.5 (+138) Under 5.5 (-170) Have an issue with my rankings?
