Two Sit-ins held at September 21 University condemning genocide & starvation in Gaza
The University of September 21 for Medical and Applied Sciences in Sana'a Governorate organized two sit-ins on Wednesday to denounce the ongoing acts of starvation and genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the people of Gaza, and to express support for the fourth phase of escalation.
Participants in the sit-ins, held at the university's main campus in Haziz and its branch on 50th Street in New Sana'a District, included university leadership, faculty, and students. They chanted slogans and raised banners condemning the continued atrocities committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people in Gaza, amid shameful international silence and Arab and Islamic inaction.
A statement issued during the events called on Arab and Islamic nations to break their silence and urgently pressure their governments to demand an end to the massacres and violations carried out by the Israeli occupation against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The statement emphasized that the participation of the University of September 21's members is part of a weekly mobilization, driven by moral and religious responsibility in the face of the genocidal crimes and starvation affecting the Palestinian people.
It also renewed calls for Arab and Islamic peoples—particularly scholars, academics, and university students—to fulfill their duty, abandon silence , complacency, stand in solidarity with their starving and thirsty brothers in Gaza, who are facing the worst forms of genocide.
The statement further praised the steadfast position of the Yemeni people in support of their brothers in the land of Al-Isra and Al-Mi'raj.

Sana'a - Saba: The Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives held a meeting on Wednesday, chaired by Committee Head Ahmed Al-Khoulani. The meeting, which was attended by Jarallah Fadhel, Assistant Director of the Prime Minister's Office for Planning Affairs, along with several specialists from the office, reviewed the level of implementation of relevant tasks. Discussions focused on strengthening coordination with Parliament, developing public plans and policies to meet the current stage's needs, improving institutional performance, and addressing deficiencies. During the meeting, the Assistant Director of the Prime Minister's Office for Planning provided clarifications on the office's accomplishments, emphasizing the importance of integrated performance among constitutional authorities and unifying efforts to confront current challenges. In a related context, the Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Committee, chaired by Dr. Ali Al-Zanam, held a meeting attended by Ambassador Ismail Al-Mutawakkil, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation, along with ministry experts.
