A rainy end to month? After humid spell, intense showers set to lash Gurgaon
According to IMD, rainfall activity is expected to be widespread across Gurgaon, Faridabad, and south Haryana areas, especially in the late evening and early morning hours.
"Weather models show that a low-pressure system currently active over north India will move towards northeast Rajasthan. This will likely trigger heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of Rajasthan and northern Madhya Pradesh. Delhi, which lies just north of this system, could also see spillover rain," an IMD official said.

Gurgaon's minimum temperature on Sunday was 26.7 degrees Celsius, nearly two degrees higher than Saturday's 24.8°C. The maximum temperature remained steady at 34.1°C, while it was 34.7°C on Saturday. Heavy rain lashed parts of Delhi on July 29, bringing life to a standstill in several parts of the city. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that the rain is likely to continue for the next seven days, till August 3. As water gushed through the streets, several key areas of the capital, including Connaught Place and ITO, experienced severe waterlogging. The downpour not only flooded roads but also led to traffic snarls and long delays, making it difficult for commuters to move around the city.
